Is there such a thing? I've searched high and low maybe im missing something. I have 2.2 with the nerob3 rom.
To clarify what I mean is tthere a thing like how the iphone is, when it replaces The battery in the notification bar with the percentage. Thanks in advance.

There are mods like that. They just have not came up with it for nero yet.
Oh ok. How would I be able to find them if they would become available? Is there like a list of mods for certain roms anywhere?

Search for batter status bar in the market. No root needed and very customizable.

Ok I'm not good at these threads, but here is the 1st build I've put together. This is built from JT's CM7 and MIUI.US Vibrant.
THANK YOU JT, without whom none of this is possible.
THANK YOU #miui-us, for guidance and a vibrant base to start from.
THANK YOU Nitsuj/TSM for pushing me into playing with this idea.
Working:
Calls!!
Bluetooth!!
3G data
WiFi
SMS
Camera/Camcorder
USB mass storage / sdcard
Not Working:
Sensors/GPS/MMS
Main ROM

Patch (Must be done in Orange MTD Recovery) "adb reboot recovery" is the best way to get there. 3button is not good.
Theme Manager/SuperUser (Thanks MIUI.US Vibrant team)
Rogue Roaming Indicator (Thanks times_infinity)
Signal Strength is now accurate

Found this while researching the issue.
Work Around for Deep Sleep/No Call bug:
1) Install this app "Load Monitor"
2) In the app settings, check "Add Notification", then check "Wake Lock"
3) Set the update interval to 5seconds
This should prevent your device from deep sleep which is of course a batter drain, however you will receive calls. If its worth it or not is up to you.

it seems to work...
OR
This app might be better:

Is it me or is the fascinate (devs) breaking through the wall to get to a fully functional gb rom? JT seems like he is pretty close off of his CM7 build, and im assuming when that becomes fullly functional this will be too. Our devs our pretty awesome, thank you guys for your hard work!

Can someone link me to a spare parts that works? The one I download from the market fills the screen half way and force closes when trying to look at the apps that are eating battery.
Thanks in advance

Yeah because thats in a 2.3 gingerbread rom were on 2.3.4 now. Most spare parts apps don't support anything past 2.3. You really want to monitor which apps are hogging battery go to settings and moto/android has some simple built in features or spend a few bucks and download system panel from the market.
Does anyone have a suggestion or experience with any mods or kernels that gave them a better battery life?? Mine hasnt seemed to change from having it stock or with jokers roms on it. Does anyone have any ideas how to make it last longer??
We need a battery viagra.

I use the cyanogen data toggle or data toggle widget from the market to turn off 3G when I'm not using it and it makes a HUGE different in my battery life.

If you want more battery,
Disable all animations, keep brightness at its minimum level, disable auto-sync, disable haptic feedback, disable 'touch sounds' etc.
I am making StockLite v7 now. It'll have even more battery and it'll be faster than v6.

I've already done that except for the auto-sync xD. I calibrated the battert yesterday and i'm waiting for it to discharge. My stock rom at the beginning consumed more battery and then a little lower so i supposed must be something similar with custom roms.
And it's not hot.

I disabled 3G, haptic and sound, the brightness is on automatic.
Other than that I didn't touch anything and the battery is very good, the ROM runs very smoothly.
Don't have any problem with that 'hot bug' either.
StockLite is awesome
And apparently tj will post a ICS theme in the near future so that's pretty cool.

Just WOW Keep up the good work, man.
EDIT : I just have a question. Since I've installed StockLite there's a steering wheel icon appearing in the status bar.
Apparently that's the car dock icon, but it appears randomly. So my question is, how do I get rid of that ? Since I can't send email or sms when it's on, it's kinda annoying.
battery
my battery also get hot very hot when using 3g and sometimes when i wake up in morning its super hot. without using it.
