Is there any way to make the HTC clock widget work if you don't use HTC sense ? I mean, I've HTC sense installed, but I prefer to use LauncherPro (taste and colors...); anyway, do you know if it's possible ?
If not, could you port your theme to fancy widget and/or Beautyful widget ?
Would be really nice !
And by the way, your work is really good (the launcher mod, the lockscreen, ...), do you have a blog to follow your work or something like that (deviantart, ... ) ?

The HTC's widgets connect with HTC framework (com.htc.resources.apk). If you don't use Sense, you lose the framework, that means HTC widgets will not work.
I've never used Fancy widget/Beautiful widget, so I'm not so sure I could port this or not.
I do have an deviantart account but these stuffs won't be posted there until I got full themed Sense.

1. Use any file manager app on your phone, then point to /system/app/, you'll find HtcClockWidget.apk, then copy it to your SDCard.
2. Check 1st post.

I didn't creat the Night skin for Sense clock, it's only available at skinned Fancy-widget section

Good theme BUT if could do it, that it will be possible to CHOOSE this theme from the stock one ? (in Cyanogen settings and theme selection) Because i like the Stock Cyan theme but ALL your ports delete the stock one so it would be good to have stock back without reflasing, and last thing, icons in the settings are still Cyan, so you should add those from Alpha3

this is only possible in CM7.
about the icons that continue the CM, not is ported a whole theme : S
if you like the stock theme of CM makes a backup, this is easier.

Yeah, that's why I didn't include it. There's an ICS analog clock widget floating around too, which is also just a copy based on early screenshots, so I haven't included that, either.
Hopefully once the AOSP source is available, someone will backport the real ICS launcher to run on gingerbread (a much easier task than porting the full ICS phone to our minis!)

Do you mean it doesn't install, or you just don't see the new lockscreen? If it's the latter, make sure you've got the "ring" style lockscreen selected in the CyanogenMod settings. (If it just plain won't install, then I'm afraid I can't help!)

You have to instal clockopia through root explorer...
U have to replace the clockopia.tff in sys/fonts folder with the one u downloaded and should set the persmissions to rwrr

You can download Font Changer from market and change Clockopia.ttf in Advanced options.. Just tap the ''advanced'', then tap ''clockopia.ttf'' and find the font..

here is what i made for my friends phone LOL..(her amstaff doggy in pink LOL)
the lock you want to change is located in system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi
the names in sony is
semc_sliding_tab_open_normal the next is
semc_sliding_tab_open_pressed
the first one is when you wake the device the secund is for when you drag the lock
now the camera lock is
semc_sliding_tab_camera_normal
semc_sliding_tab_camera_pressed
(you can also change the ghost buttons(ghost is when you just press the icon not drawe )JUST REMEMBER THE RIGHT NAMES.
you can change these pictures to whatever you like it just have to be 122x275 and a PNG picture..
if you guys want some help or cannot figure out how to edit the PNG ask me nicely and i will help you make it work...( i also make locks on request
off topic my first android was mini pro and i learned so much in the sony forums so now this is me giving a little back to you...
the thing you are doing with this guide is basiclypulling out your framework-res.apk put in the modified locks setting the permissions right pushing it back to phone(you can also use the ADB to pull the app but i personly dont)

you copy your framework-res.apk to your sd card and put it in your computer.. you can also use winrar to extract the png pictures..
i use root explorer to copy my framework-res.apk and then putt it on my pc so i can use a drawing program(pixlr.com) to edit the png picture i want..

I can't remember where I found this but it is handy to have. It gives you four widgets you can add to your screens. Daily Calendar which is resizable, a 4x4 splanner calendar, Tasks widget, and a mini splanner. Zip should install with CWM or TWRP, just mount system first.
It doesn't replace any files that I know of but works well on my phone. Just for the record though I am not reponsible for anything happening wrong or if your phone develops a serious attitude. Enjoy

Add FYI for everyone: As far as I know, this is for touchwiz but I have it working in Holo Launcher HD. I know it does not work in launchers like Nova, and prolly a few others. You will have to contact the developers of those to get them to allow touchwiz widgets to work in their apps.

Sorry, this is only way I know of other than to extract the apk and push to your system/app with a file explorer that gives access to that and for that you would need to be rooted also. It is a deodexed file btw so if you do it this way and you are not deodexed, you would have to rename the odex part to .old or something like that. I know of no installable apk for this one at this time.

I was always wondering why s planner widgets are not there even if s planner is installed in our devices.
Anyway, I have a question. I'm using a stock jb rom (lqe, rooted) non deodexed and I was wondering if this will work for me without any problems. Do I have to rename that part you mentioned?

If you are rooted and have an explorer with root access, you should be able to copy it to the system/app folder, set the permissions rw-r--r-- and be good to go. there is no odex involved with the app that I know of though. Let me know how it goes.

I did what you told me and worked like a charm in touchwiz. Too bad it doesn't work in nova launcher like I read in some theads. That widget is one of the best.

As I stated, it does work in Holo Launcher HD. (updated op with info) As for other launchers, the developers will have to make it so widgets for touchwiz work in their apps.

It should work..if not then upload me your launcher and framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk and ill make one for Sprint (only if it doesnt work)

All good to go. Works on sprint and very nice in speed, soberly notice when scrolling in app drawer yet keeps the looks I like in TouchWiz. Very cool.

Yes, so far noticed smoother in so drawer and opening apps. Try it and see if you like. If not, you can always revert.

I downloaded third party launcher, mage bak of original TouchWiz launcher, pasted this new launcher in place (no custom recovery method since I don't have yet), checked permissions to make sure, reboot. Tested and worked, then Uninstall other third party launcher. Success (TouchWiz launcher in priv-app, now named TouchWiz home.apk.bak).

I just made the original launcher (touchwizhome.apk) to bak file (Touchwizhome.apk.bak). If you don't like the new launcher, just delete it and undo the .bak, should revert back to original launcher on reboot.
