Question for those who use AT&T HTC Pure stock ROM - Touch Diamond2, Pure ROM Development

I flashed my Topaz with the AT&T HTC Pure stock rom which can be found here (http://www.htc.com/us/support/pure-att/downloads/) and I'm quite happy with it.
But since I'm not on AT&T but on Vodafone Germany I removed / hide all the AT&T specific stuff that doesn't work for me.
Unfortunately I guess I might have removed a little bit too much in the AT&T Music folder in the start menu (as there's not only AT&T specific stuff in there).
So could anyone who is using this ROM too tell me which items are in that AT&T Music folder so that I can see if you have removed anything that I might want to restore.
Thanks in advance!

ATT music folder has the following icons: windows media, XM radio, Music ID, Music Videos, and Shop music and Music Sync

Thanks a lot
So the Windows Media Player icon which is still have is actually the only one which is any useful to me so everything's fine I guess xD

In freshly installed Lumia uk firmware in Nokia music there was Mix Radio feature. And it dissapeared just after i loged in with nokia account (it is not registered in UK). Maybe someone knows hot to get back Mix Radio? Reinstalling or loging in with Nokia account that is from uk or changing locale to uk doesnt help. Any ideas?

Mine did, too, when I logged in with my old Nokia/OviSuite account. Later that day, it showed up again and now works fine.
It disappeared in my Lumia too after I perfomrd a hard reset.
Yep, same here, it disappeared after a hard reset.
The whole Nokia Music feature is missing for me. Is there any way to get it?
If you are unlocked you can search for nokia music xap

The older NOKIA mUSic version 1.6.0.0 had the radio feature inbuilt without location restrictions, but was withdrawn from later versions!

[Q] Nokia Music Streaming

My Lumia 800 does not have streaming music, all it contains is my music and the gig section. Is this a location problem. I am based in Australia.

It probably is a location problem.
I know on my phone, UK country variant that I imported to the US, won't allow me Mix Radio if I reset and use my actual location for the region. Also, I cannot sign into my Nokia acct in Nokia Music, or I'll lose mix radio as well.
After quite a few hard resets, I learned that I had to allow the location to default to UK, with a UK timezone and the correct UK time. I was then able to launch Mix Radio and confirm it worked. I could then change my region/timezone back to Pacific and Mix Radio didn't appear.
Why don't you give this a try and let me know if it works for anyone but me.
My issue is I dont want to hard reset to get it back. Seems stupid that I have to wipe and lose everything to get a feature working.

So by just changing your region settings, you can use Nokia's Mix Radio? What about offline music playback in Nokia Music app?
I have a Telstra branded Lumia 800 and I can acess the mix radio, mp3 store, etc. in Nokia Music.
Is the region on your phone correctly configured? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

How can you install Nokia music app? I don't think it's on Windows Phone Marketplace.
About the Nokia Music Radio Mix, it depends from country to country.
Some countries have this options, some don't.
Nokia Music is only in the Marketplace for certain regions.
I found that changing the region on my phone wasn't enough to be able to get Nokia Music to install. I had to hard reset to that region, confirm Mix Radio worked, then change to my correct region (I need the correct region for other apps to work correctly).

Mhm, I can't find it on my Marketplace.
I've flashed the 12070 firmware for Netherlands on my device and got Nokia Music back.
I can confirm I can use Offline Radio Mixes Playback by changing region settings to UK.
Nokia excluded this option in Belgium (and probably in other countries too) due licencing stuff.

[Q] HTC media link hd and google edition rom

I have an HTC one currently running the android revolution hd rom with sense 5. I've recently thought about trying out the google edition rom. However, I am just wondering is there any possibility of getting the HTC media link hd to work with the google edition rom because i use the media link hd quite often. Do I need to install a custom kernel or something? Or is there absolutely no way for this to work. I really want to try stock android but I don't want to sacrifice not being able to use the media link. Is there anyway to do this?
I want to know this too. My assumption is that there is no way. It seems to be the answer to any question like this.. Ie HTC Gallery etc. I am/was in the same exact boat and I thought what the hell I'll give stock a try. It's all I ever ran on my S3 . I love it. I forgot how much I liked CM10. Now I'm really torn, don't know if I cam go back to Sense to get the gallery and media link back. Hopefully someone figures it out. They ported the camera successfully.

[Q] Why Are Apps Country Specific?

Okay, so I'm not getting it.. Why do all these awesome music apps have to be so country specific..? I mean, people from other nations appreciate English music too, and are very capable of enjoying the benefits.. Why does USA get all the fun? I've got the apk of some apps (cause hey PlayStore is racist that way too) and now to find out it still doesn't work. Pandora, Play Music (Radio), Songza, a whole lotta other non music apps even.... What's with the apps not wanting to provide fun to the whole world? A genuine question.
Yeah, I've seen tons of guides and all for workarounds to getting those apps to work, but seriously, my question is WHY are they country specific in the first place?!?
Just looking for an answer, not a guide or tutorial to get them.

LG V10 Google play edition (sort of) request

The LG V10 is a great phone, robust hardware backed up by some sub par software. I'm asking any dev's out there if they would be able to create a Google play edition of sorts with all of the LG software removed minus the camera
NFC, and other bits vital to the operation of the phone. I kind of have this setup but cant find a working dialer to
replace the LG dialer. The only LG stuff I didnt delete was the file manager, downloads, dialer, camera, weather, mobile hotspot and voice recorder. All other apps have been replaced with a google version to include google now. If a dev
would be able to put this together, or at least create a flashable dialer would be just as good. IMO, the V10 would be
the perfect mix of LG/Google when all is said and done. :fingers-crossed: :good:
Thanks
I know I'm answering myself here, but rather than try and actually replace the dialer, I just downloaded one that fits the material design language and now my phone looks like it came straight from Google. I've provided some screen shots of what it looks like. If anyone wants help turning theirs into a GPE edition of the LG V10 let me know. I'm trying to find the right dialer and corresponding .so file that can be added properly rather than the stock LG dialer which is hidden at the moment.
It looks cool, but its just a theme and a few apps. It'd be nice to get the pure google play edition rom, if at all possible.
It is be possible to some degree. Keep in mind a "pure" aosp ROM will have no lg apps at all. No lg camera or anything. We still can't get the stock g3 camera on any custom ROMs.
