The only way to overclock is to flash an overslockable kernel... Not possible with stock...
Wrong !
I've got 2.1 android O.S on 2.1.1.A.0.6 and 2.6.29 kernel and i put overclock module for x8 with inserting insmod lines in hw_config.sh. It runs perfectly ! And you could use SetCpu too if you want !
x8 overclock modules can be found on XDA...
Just take a look on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1020313&highlight=x8+overclock+module
does anyone know if this module will work on xperia pro or if theres any other overclocking modules for it

[Q] Native Wifi Tethering On X10 Mini Pro

hello all
i was wondering if there was any kernal hacks or a ROM for the mini pro that supports native wifi tether?
am running a Mini CM7 v16 and i heard that AnDYX has created a netfiltler which hijacks the stock kernal, meaning it allows you to use native wifi tether while on stock kernal
has anyone tried it and does it work?
it would be good if paul-xxx can implement this on the Mini CM7

Hi
Slade and some other devs are
working on native tethering.
Just look at Slade's GinTonic SE 2.1
Peace
for some reason i cant unlock my bootloader to add custom kernal,
i went through all the steps, but i get like "this path does not exist"
i read about the error and the solution is to unroot the phone and then root it
using superoneclick
i used X10 flashtool to flash and root, but there isnt a option to unroot!
so am stuck
Hi
You have to reflash to latest
official SE firmware 2.1 (equal to unroot)
Then root and so on
Peace

I'm on stock SE kernel using paul-xxx's MiniCM7Pro v21 and it says it's not compatible with my phone in the market (aka Google Play) ?!?
Installed, started app, needed sign up so i closed it. But installed normally. Maybe to try with other ROM's?

+1, I'm unable to install it using a rom based on MiniCM7Pro
It's not working on MiniCM7Pro_V21_3. Shows the same.
Installed on slade87's gintonic 2.5.1 with stock kernel.

Don't think I have - how do you check the density? If I had changed the density is that why it say's it's not compatible in the market (play)? Also, does the app require 120 density?
no problem with default density, but i'm using nAa kernel and MiniCm7 2.2.0.
install that rom, it's a beautiful rom

Install Rom Toolbox (http://tinyurl.com/cqre6hk)
Then go to the Performance setting and build.prop Tweaks,
check the LCD density, if it's 120 : it's ok, if it's not : change to 120
In the Play Market (http://tinyurl.com/c79oqws) tells me that U20i is compatible with Instagram.
Maybe the model number is not right, check it out in the Setting panel of the phone, then go to the about the phone menu and look at the line model number, is it U20i ?
I'm using instagram here...
The problem that I found is that you can't take a picture using Instagram... I can pick one of gallery and use...
When I try to take a picture, I get FC...
Any chance to solve?
PS: I found this at google play. I'm using nAa rom and kernel
Version 1.0 works fine though it crashes sometimes at the same point mentioned above. Using miniCM7pro v21 rom with nAa's kernel, going to test version 1.0.1 now..

Edit: Instagram 1.0.1 works fine too

Same as the others for me, can't take a picture without FC, Instagram 1.0.1.
I've send a bugreport though google crash report, I hope they will correct the bug soon :-/ It's annoying, even if we can the picture first and then import it in Instagram for editing.
Is there anyone who could port or reengineer the instagram app to make it work for our x10 mini pro's please??

i can see some of you telling that install instagram on your mini and work and other's saying that don't..i'm on the group that the app won0t work, or can't even install it because it's say that is not compatible..i because of the rom? i'm thinking of flashing cyanogenmod7, because the one i'm know doesn't work..so can anyone tell us what's the problem? it's about the rom or not? if it is about the rom, which rom do i have tu use to make it work? thanks!
Just tried again and it works for me, for those of you that the app runs, try to choose from the instagram options to use the instagram camera, idk if this will do any good but give it a shot. I'm using this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1201116
