Does anyone have .config from the 1.6 firmware? As its not there anymore on 2.1.
Solved it myself. I used semc_robyn_defconfig from arch/arm/configs in the source-tree.

Just wanted to ask if someone can clearify some things.
If I use the 2.2 xRecovery ROMs is the 2.1 kernel or the 2.2 kernel used?
Camera doesnt work because of lack of drivers. Someone will have to write a driver from scratch? Maybe some luck with 2.3 drivers from the SE Arc.

Hi, where can i find stock kernel for vibrant froyo (2.2), all the links seems to be broken
thanks
These aren't for just the stock kernel, but check this thread out:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1036193
It particular this post (#224) by Fishman:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24149078&postcount=224
That's an entire stock ROM (also rooted and busy boxed) with the stock kernel included.
For Froyo or GB Roms Id say try this:

The Jaeyoon kernel is basically a stock froyo 2.2 kernel with Voodoo enabled.
I fixed the links in my original post. Copied that from somone that asked for a stock ROM and didn't pay attention that it kept the ... in the middle.
Thanks...
Thanks everyone for your help, i´m downloading some of the images i´ll try to see what fits better to me....

Does anyone have or at least know where to find a cifs.ko that will work with the new android 4.0.4, the kernel version is 3.1.10 SEP-91 #1.
The upgrade was pushed to device over the air last night and of course broken the working module i had install.
Thanks,
Core
I will appreciate any hint as well
I'm searching for this as well, tried all the solutions and workaround found on xda and elsewhere, but no luck. Hopefully somebody will make modified kernel that has CIFS support soon for stock ics.
any news on this?
