Uninstall black froyo theme - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I really like this theme, but I just installed axura 2.2 and immediately put the black froyo theme without even looking at the axura theme. How do I uninstall this theme and go back to the theme that came with the rom? Do I just delete it from sd card and reboot? Not really sure.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App

The theme changes a lot of the framework and apps, to remove it, you could restore a nandroid backup if you have one created prior to flashing black froyo. Otherwise, unless there is a theme package specific to your rom you can flash to restore the stock theme, you'd have to reflash the rom itself.

That's what I was afraid of. Oh well that's what I get. Thanks

Any way you could post some screen shots of axura with the black froyo? Im running 2.2 and was curious. Thanks

^ there are a TON of pics in the black froyo theme thread....
OP, Are you not digging BlackFroyo? Personally, Axura is themed very well, but BF was ALWAYS on my phone when I had Axura.... testing Nero now and I miss it soooo much, ha.

Man I would miss it too. I didn't flash macnut final at first for fear black froyo wouldn't work. Figured out it did right before supercurio dropped his x-mas present on us, now I'm purring like a fat kid on a cake.

Not @ all. I really like black froyo. I just didn't even look @ what axura 2.2 had to offer. Ive had black froyo for over a month on 2.0.6 & final. I was curious what it looked like. I just did a back up of what I got now so I don't have set it all back again....... And that was hillarious.

I didn't know.it.would look exactly like that to be.honest. I thought it would vary.some from rom to rom.

I have Macnut R14 and tried installing Block Froyo Kang and I get a boot loop every time. I'm using MetaMorph, is there something I'm doing wrong? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Blackfroyo kang version is not compatible with Macnut 14. The one you want is the blackfroyo final. The kang is branched from the final to have a current version for new frameworks in the abscence of the original dev. You can safely flash the cw version of blackfroyo final over Macnut 14, that used to be my setup.

[Q] Which Rom are you using on your Vibrant?

Just curious with all the options that are available, Which ROM is on your Vibrant and why do you like it?
Stock JK2 because there is no "give and take" and I can customize it to my liking.

Put this in q/a right now
Onyx V3 -- mostly because the install instructions were super easy and I really like the black theme. don't like touchwhiz, so I sided with Onyx over Obsidian
I prefer Bionix for 2.1 ROM, and been using McNut for the 2.2 ROM...
But after trying Masters Axura 2.0.2 I found my new favorite! I love the look and feel of it.
I now run Axura 2.0.2 with eugenes kernel#802 and Ryanza's one click lag fix and ive never been happy with my phone. 2000+ quadrant benchmarks and 17mflops. You should give it a try.
My Custom ROM is...
AOSPISH_JK2_v1.1
Love this ROM! It's clean, fast, and everything works without a single problem.
w00t
I use a rom called the general section made by xda, you should try it.
I guess this is in the wrong place. to those of you that answered thanks. to anyone else, how do I move this to the correct location? Didn't mean to break the rules, just trying to learn from this great community.

if you're going to do a thread like this why not make it a poll?
the best rom i use
Axura 2.0.3 the best rom for my vibrant ever 100 plus
Great idea! seeing that this is my 1st thread, this is what I came up with. but I love the idea of a poll, maybe I'll try that in the right location. thanks.
I prefer ROMs with better battery life. Now it's Obsidian V3 - 0.2-0.4% per hour in sleep.
Thanks Lorendoll Battery life is important to me too
Currently using obsidian v4 (Snagged it before it was taken down. Works great for me, but will probably reflash when it goes back up.)
I use ADW Launcher because I hate tw, but I find i'm addicted to some of the samsung apps that won't run on onyx.

yeah, i'm kinda missing the daily briefing and memo apps
Bionix Final here as it has fantastic battery life. Tried a couple 2.2 ROMS and the battery life on them were pathetic.
Staying with Final until a 2.2 rom with acceptable (IE: more than a day) battery life comes along.

[THEME]{Touch of Androdena V1.1} for Simply Honey v1.0 XE 4/1!!

I LOVE the Androdena theme and have ported most parts over from it that I liked and matched with a few elements of the default Simply Honey theme !
This is simply... the most... f***ing amazing ROM! I'm a flash junkie and wow I honestly don't care if 2.3 ever comes out because this ROM is perfect and think it has cured me (for now) of my flashing addiction.
I want to say a HUGE thanks to Tonicacid for the original port of Androdena for Bionix 1.3.1 and of course, to the original creator of this amazing theme dena994!
Here are screenshots. It isn't 100% Androdena but I've kept the really neat stuff I liked .

EDIT:
I also added another flashable zip to make the dialer stretch correctly when using a density lower than 240 (I personally use 190).
Not sure if it'll work on like 230 or 210 but I believe it should. Nandroid just in case.
Looks amazing! Will flash this as soon as I'm done flashing the update
Heh thanks . I love blue and this theme is amazing and it was love at first sight .
I came from the Simply Galaxy 2.7.2 and this ROM blows it away. It starts up faster and shutdowns quicker... although the gallery is slow is my only problem but I can live with that !
ty for another theme for me to choose from when i get bored of the one im using!
im a theme junkie too, first step admit u have a prob..LOL
it would be great if it was flashable though.
I'll look today and make/test a flashable zip . I know it is time consuming to push and copy and paste the files.
I will make it flashable for you if you want

Simply Galaxy/Sweet Honey 2.7.2 w/ speedbooster

I'm not sure. I used to run 2.7.2 and trust me, this rom is faster and more reliable .
If you do try it make a backup and tell me how it goes. I believe it should work on it though... but tell me so I could update the OP .
Does not work on 2.7.2. Put it in a boot loop. Thank God for backups! If you can could you port this over. Its a really good looking theme. Thanks!
Simply Galaxy/Sweet Honey 2.7.2
Overstock 2.2 o/c 1.2ghz

Hmm... alright alright when I go home I'll port it over to 2.7.2 for you all.
Yeah 2.7.2 frameworks are different as well as everything else. 2.7.2 is JPJ/JPG based whereas Simply Honey is JS5.

I actually flashed back to bionix 1.3.1 and was trying to port this over the easy way but need to rename files and such...
Flashed back to simply honey only because of the theme lol but when I have more free time I do plan on staying with bionix until an official 2.2.1 or 2.3 for the Vibrant comes out .
Expect one for bionix for sure though.

Accurate battery on Axura?

Recently came back to the Vibrant, and like the Axura ROM, but I generally prefer an accurate battery. I noticed a few mod threads, but all listed previous versions of Axura. So I thought I'd ask if anyone's running an Axura and modded it for accurate battery, and if so, what you're using.
Thanks.
This is something I would also like to know
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Just install one of the themes from annex for axura that have the accurate battery mod and your good to go. Unless you like the stock axura theme look then, I don't have an answer for you because I never did just a battery mod alone for it.
