How would I go about changing the icon & name of an application? Or removing the app from my app list without uninstalling it..
You can do this with DX-Top. Install icon packs and fonts, rename apps and hide apps.

Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
If you are looking to change the icon and name of an app on any of your homescreens, then that's easily done with any of the newer versions of Launcher Pro. Just update the software, and when you add an icon to the homescreen, it will show you a window allowing you to change the name and icon of a shortcut. Hiding apps from the launcer is also a feature of Launcher Pro. Just go into Launcher Pro preferences, general settings, and hidden apps. From there, hide what you want.

I have the latest version of LauncherPro Plus, and it doesnt ever ask me to change the names or icons (Thats only for the dock apps)
Is it possible to hide apps in touchwiz application draw like go launcher? Thanks.
I don't think this is possible in the default TwLauncher.
What I do to 'hide' the application (from the drawer) is to freeze them with Titanium Backup, but that way you will not be able to launch it unless you unfreeze the application first, so you cannot use it if you, for example, want the program on the homescreen but not in the drawer. You could also make a folder in your drawer and put all the unwanted/unused icons in there, that way you only use up one icon space.
Ok had a question about the Arc Launcher. So i noticed you can add your own items in the dock bar, Which is perfect. But i cant seem to change the app drawer icon? I like the launcher but i also like adw's and also launcher pro, Which all give me every option i could ever ask. Is there a way to modify the original launcher to offer more options, Such as resize widgets.. Or like adws hidden app drawer. ?
Is there a way to force ADW to use the default system icons? I'm using MIUI and I have my own icon pack made for MIUI (a .mtz theme), which is based off the Edius HD icons (which are not yet available as an ADW.EX icon theme). All of the other launchers use the system icons from my MIUI theme (Go Launcher, Launcher Pro) but ADW.EX uses it's own set, and there is no option to use the "default" ones...
I'd really need a solution for this, because I don't want to manually port all 500 of the icons over to ADW.EX, since it's icon notation is a bit different... (i.e. com.facebook.katana.png -> com_facebook_katana_loginactivity.png)
I was literally just wondering the exact same thong! Let me know if you find anything?

No, because (Except wallpapers) all other settings (e.g. Icons, Widget etc...) are stored inside your launcher data.
So, only the launcher app can access those data.
Many launcher has backup/restore features.
For example if you use NovaLauncher you can do it.
I often backup/restore my configuration. Even to different rom or after a system restore/wipe. :good:
