[MOD] Segmented Battery Mod Nero - Vibrant Themes and Apps

ATTENTION: This was built using Nero v1 as a base and it may work for other versions of Nero but no guarantees. If you want to try this over Nero v2/v3 you do so at your own risk. Please let us know if it works. Thanks.
Flashable via Clockwork Recovery. Make sure you backup you stuff before you flash this. Not responsible for any damage to your phone, person or property, you flash this at your own risk. It works fine on my Vibrant with Nero v1 & v2. Not sure about compatibility with Remix. Give it a try and let us know.

thank u sir and nice wall paper there (is that a live wallpaper?)

Love the look, just wish it was in a matching green color.

needs to be green please!

I guess anyone with a desire to do it and a good picture editing program can go edit the files. Any volunteers. I have only MS Paint at my disposal, and I don't think that will cut it.

Where are the pitures in the .apk? I cant seem to find them....

Perfect! Thank you!

res\drawable-hdpi-v4\stat_sys_battery_0.png all the way to stat_sys_battery_100.png as well as stat_sys_battery_charge_anim0.png to stat_sys_battery_charge_anim26.png

Thanks! Did not look hard enough...

No problem, I just had to dig around to find it. There's a LOT of files in there.

Yessir.

No offense to jocelyn over at TW forum, but this is so much better!!! Thank you!

I think some people didn't like the size of this one, hence her mod. Hers also keeps the stock look more. Myself I prefer this one, but more options are definitely a good thing.

Im working on a green version of this now...no promises. This is the first time ive tried something like this...

very nice mod

Thanks! Saved me the time of creating one. Did you have to do anything special to get it to recompile?

Okay, these are what I found.
First, idk if is a bug but after I reboot my phone, Launcher Pro freezes, with the web icon highlighted...weird. (this happened more than once. Another app just started to FC every time but...yeah)
Second, I don't like how the icon flashes between"Full" and charging sign. It distracts me, as I leave my phone charged while using.
Lastly, the icon says "Full", when the phone says it is 96%. I do see that the circle is not all the way filled up but it gives me an inaccurate idea of the battery.
Thanks,
***EDIT: I noticed that the real FULL reads 100%. Then I am confused between "100" and "Full"...

I was watching a video demo for the samsung epic 4g, and at first i thought the home screen dock looked completely transparent but looking at the video again i realized it wasn't. But I liked the idea of it, the clean look, and figured why not make a very simple metamorph theme for the vibrant.

Mine
I have done full games (for iPhone, PSP, etc), and while I am usually a programmer, I can burn hours and hours in Photoshop obsessing over pixels, etc. I have wanted to do Morphs for a while, and this one being so simple, it's been my jumping off point
So, this isn't a morph, it's just the PNG payload, if anyone wants to use it, I think it looks rather sharp. I'll do more proper morphs soon Sorry no pic, I gotta sleep.

I just checked to see if the UNDO link was working, and it worked for me. Maybe megaupload was down when you tried?

ah, to be inspired lol. i remember making litestep themes back in the day, :: has flashback ::
is it possible to make the solid bar but at 80% opacity?
If you're using launcherpro, just go to preferences> apperance> dock background > then none.
Easier lol
doesn't seem to want to work on my phone, sat on the please wait screen for over 20 mins gave up and rebooted. Not sure why?

[MOD] Remove Notification Clock CWM flashable 02/04/11

This mod will remove/restore the clock in the notification bar.
- THAT IS ALL IT DOES - Whatever theme your using will remain untouched.
NOW CWM FLASHABLE!
I can only confirm this working with Bionix V, Bionix V 1.2.
try on other ROM's at your own risk.
I don't see why it should'nt work though.
Im not responsible for your phone and what you do to it!
Installation:
Download zip of choice
Place zip on SDcard
Flash Thru CWM
Reboot - expect long initial boot
Enjoy.
Thank you much
EDIT: Just in case anyone else pushes this mod...the phone will hang on a black screen for about 2 minutes before your launcher appears. I am assuming this is normal, just be patient...it will load
ok so i dont know if its coincidence but i copied the .jar, rebooted, was taking abnormally long, did a battery pull, rebooted phone and it works fine. But for some reason my xda app wouldnt open. i just unintalled then re-installed.. Goodbye annoying clock...

no you will retain the battery mod, it will only remove the notification clock -- any other themes / mods will remain intact and unchanged
Great. Thanks for the quick reply. Installing now.
no prob! enjoy.
Thanks for the mod. No more ugly white clock. Much appreciated.

i dont quite get you're question.
when you say AM/PM indicators, where do you see that?
this mod should take out the notification clock completely. AM/PM and ALL
if you're talking about AM/PM indicators in clock widgets / lockscreens or wherever else. then it's a different story.
No I mean a seperate mod that just removes the AM/PM instead of the whole clock.
from what i saw, they go together. cant have one and not the other. but i'll have another look if i find some time.
Thanks you!!! I've been looking for something like this.

sweet! works great with the Tachometer battery mod!

Thank you for this. Nice theme.
Just wanted to let you know it works for trigger 2.8 as well but the clock in the notification bar stayed white. Is there a file that i can flash or a morph of just the clock where I can get it black?
Just flashed this and really like it. Love the colors. The batt is white on mine as well and I'm running bionix 1.3.1. Would love to be able to change the clock cause it's hard to see.
I'll check that for you, It's wierd i'm on Bionix and it stayed black for me hmmm i'll try to figure it out and post a fix
I'm glad someone replied i was about to take it off due to no feedback :-/
Thanks for checking on it. I'm glad I saw this. it's an awesome theme!

More than likely your clock issue is related to the services.jar file, pull the services.jar from your phone and you should be set. Other wise this is a good looking theme, not my flavor but well done none the less.
TY sir that's the problem
Def not for everyone but hey we can never have to many choices was having a groovy kind of day and said what the heck lol
I'll upload the fix in a little.

[THEME]Welcome to "Phone Candy" for UnNamed v2.2.1

Welcome to "Phone Candy" ported by Dave for UnNamed v2.2.1
DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible for any damage done to your device in flashing this. Always, ALWAYS backup before flashing anything!!!
This is a theme ported from Dully79.
His original theme can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1154252
You should check it out. He also has a "Go Theme" that is used with "Go Launcher" which is very nice also.
This is not a direct port of the theme. I've made allot of changes and expanded the theme throughout the system.
I wanted to have more color on my phone and most themes were green, blue, etc. Thats when I came across Phone Candy so I decided to play around with theming so see how it worked and what I could change.
If you like what I've done (even if you don't) please hit the thanks button. I can’t tell you how many hours I've spent on this and I know dully79 has spent hundreds more on the images.
If you have extra cash and fell like you need to spread your wealth please visit dully79's page and donate or you can just give him a click on his thanks button also.
I'm sure he'll appreciate it!
This is my first time doing anything like this so if I goofed anywhere please let me know and I will fix it as fast as I can.
If you'd like to contribute an element please PM me.
I've flashed the theme and the restore several times on my phone to ensure it works. But BACKUP!!!!
This theme also has elements from other themes which at this point I can't remember.
The framework also has these mods:
•CRT screen off animation
•Show true connection status in the status bar
These apps have also been themed:
Browser
Contacts
ClockPackage
Email
GoogleQuickSearchBox
MediaProvider
Mms (Would love to figure out how to change the background to black. ANYONE????)
MusicPlayer
Phone
Settings
SoundPlayer
SystemUI
TouchWizCalculator
TouchWizCalendar
Vending
I used the battery icons from esk02k theme that can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1229723

In the op, you were asking for a way to make the mms have a black background. I searched around for this alot, and found that Jivy's Icscrewd mms has a skin option with a black background. I themed this, and put this in my theme. So you can download my theme, and take the mms.apk out of it and make changes there. It should be easier than downloading all of Icscrewd. Link to theme is in my sig

Place zip on your SD card
Clear Google Wallet
Flash and enjoy
I have done quite a few themes, this is in the top 3, it turned out great. Download and see for yourself

I mean no offense by this I assure you this is mere feedback on your themes. This is what gfx artists call a color wheel. This one comes in handy when trying to find a color design scheme..http://colorschemedesigner.com/
