I get the incoming chat message, I then try to open talk and it forces close. I have looked at the logcat log, doesn't mean much to me at this point. Any advise is appreciated.

I have seen mention that on the stock 2.2 update that Bluetooth Voice Dial crashes.
1. Is this true? Can anyone verify?
2. Doe it work on DJSteves update?
Please post questions regarding Steve's ROM in his thread
That way the board is not spammed with questions
Thanks
Hey guys im having an issue trying to save videos that people send to me. When they send the video. Its being broken into multiple pictures and a sound file.
I want it to default so it will save the file AS the video. not screenshots and a sound file.
Im running firmware 2.2.1 on baseband S:i500.04 V.EB01 with kernal 2.6.32.9
with Build SCH-I500.EB01
Sounds like you have a messed up MMS system. Maybe take some time to revert back to stock and then flash the new community rom? I know after I flashed I tested that particular feature and it worked correctly.
Here is the thing. Everything else works fine. Im using the DarkRevenge rom. Its epic. But I tried going back to stock and it works fine obviously. But when I put everything to my phone, it doesnt receive the mright
I have a fascinate I have been playing with since development started almost for it.
I just went to JT's VGB v.6, and I have no market. Before when I was using his v.4 I had no issues. Now after switching to v.6 I can not pull up my market to save my life, and there are a few apps I am needing from it.
I can log, do whatever anyone may ask, if someone can help.
I will give a few basic stats in my phone info so it makes it easier.
Android Version- 2.3.5
Baseband Version S:i500.04 V.EC09
Kernel- 2.6.35.7-g70250c3

If anyone knows of a known market issue, feel free to chime in.
Have you tried to re flash gapps?
good day.
Reflashed gapps....can not believe I didn't think to try that.
Go ahead and stamp me with a dunce logo....geez.
I'm kinda new to this whole rooting thing and so far the only ROM I've tried beside the stock 2.2 is Liberated Aria DDX FR007.
I was reading about Liberated Aria 2.2.2 final found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=970272 and wanted to know if this will be a good upgrade.
If so, is there anything else I should do after installing it? I was reading about an upgraded Kernel (which i have no clue about) and GPS issues.
Is there anything else I should know about? Basically I was thinking about this move due to some bugs i currently have with my current setup. Contacts getting erased and no sync with gmail or fb.
Sorry for the noob questions, I just got lost following that thread after 40 pages.
Thanks in advanced for any advice.
Liberated Aria 2.2.2 is pretty much just a slightly updated version from FR007. If you like to keep things working pretty much the same way they do now then you should be happy with it. You do not need to worry about modifying the kernel or GPS libs with that ROM.
I would suggest doing a clean install if you are having syncing problems.
Oddly enough... I was going through the steps to do the install and when I performed the delete cache/dalvik, my sync started working again.
Nevermind, controls do work.
hi dears ..
after upgrading to ICS
Skype ca't sign in and a message show about enable video calling after that
another message for close and wait !!
this problem occurred on stock rom xxlpw and the CM9 tablet mode !!
what is the solution please ??
thanks ..
1. did you got a message after installing Skype that it's not compatible for video calls on your device? if so, did you confirm you still want to use it?
2. did you try simplest solution - go to apps menu, clear all Skype data, uninstall and install again?
3. while being on stock FW was your phone rooted? I do not know how about other user but Skype FAQ page says:
"Skype does not support rooting and Skype is not responsible for errors or crashes, which result from modifications to the underlying Android OS."
4. it seems the bug is quite known:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1405457
still, in my experience I never had problems with Skype using stock ICS FW, it works perfectly. maybe for some it works for others not... (sorry, I know it's not comforting)
