ROM Update over Memory Card for T3333 Clone - Touch2 ROM Development

Hi All,
Excuse me if i create a new thread for this old subject.
I created this because of two things.
1- To Help any one in the same case and can't find a solution to update his mobile in case we find a solution.
2- To find a way to Solve my problem.
The problem showed up when i did the following:
A- I bought HTC T3333 clone (with NO Camera Button) from china by mistake.
B- USB connection was working fine.
C- I pressed on (VolumeUP + VolumeDown + Power) to check the KITL mode and it was in Disable mode (Good for communication with PC).
D- BY MISTAKE, i pressed VolumeUP instead of Removing the battery (to avoid losing the USB Functionality).
E- Now, if I need to load any other ROM to the phone, I have to use HARDSPL first whitch requires ActiveSync to be in place.
Because KITL mode now is not in disable, NO USB connection will take place any more.
The phone now can't be updated or connected to any PC.
There is only one way remaining to update this Phone is to use any official .BIN file through Memory card (this is rare to find).
My Question now is:
1- Is there any ability to disable the KITL mode so we can HARDSPL the device and load whatever ROM we need?
2- If not, Is there anyway to Convert any wanted .NBH file to a loadable .BIN to be used for update?

I think there is NO Way as no body till now reply to the POST.
OK, It seems that the only way to upgrade this kind of Phone is to do one of the following:
1- Search for FLASH.BIN file over the net (No success till now - Not found).
2- Some one to help us to do one of the following:
A- Posting a Kitchen for extracting the FLASH.BIN file from any ROM.
B- Teach us what is the contents of this FLASH.BIN file and just brief us How to extract this file from ROM with the use of any current tools available in other posts.
Hope to find answer here.

I spent 10 hours yesterday trying another scenario of performing HARDSPL (Method for jockyw2001) to the phone through (ActiveSync over BlueTooth Connection).
I success only to establish the connection between the phone and the Active Sync.
But i failed to HARDSPL as it always giving me "INVALID HANDLE" for all (Reading and Writing) functions.
Also, I can't determine the kind of the boot loader as it is totally different than the known Three Color screen.
Once press the "Windows logo" + "Volume Down" + "Power" then i got a screen saying that:
"
this operation will update image on this device
press volumedown to update from pc side
press volumeup to update from sd card
press other key to cancel
"
Because there is NO way to communicate with the PC and there is NO HARDSPL for this phone, the first option is killed.
To use the second option, we have to have a folder on the SD card named "UPDATE" and includes the file "FLASH.BIN".
Who can HELP.

You can't use rom for original HTC mega T3333. Your clone isn't same hardware, only apparence is same of Touch2. For flash rom you can use only mamifacturer's rom or cooked rom for your clone. Warning but you device isn't 3g and radio for Mega not work. Please refer this page:

I got a half solution...
FIRST EXTRACTION
1- Rename Flash.bin to os.nb
2- Run "osnbtool -sp os.nb"
This will extract the file to:
A- os.nb.Header
B- os.nb.BIN.NB0
3- Run "osnbtool -sp os.nb.BIN.NB0"
This will Expand the file to:
os.nb.BIN.NB0.OS.NB
4- Run "nbimagetool os.nb.BIN.NB0.OS.NB"
This will extract the file to:
A- uldr.bin
B- xip.bin
C- imgfs.bin
D- msdos16bitfat.bin
Like that we will have the "imgfs.bin" ready for extraction and cooking
SECOND COOKING
1- Run "IMGFSToDump imgfs.bin" to extract "imgfs.bin"
2- Run "xidump -build xip.bin" to extract "xip.bin"
3- ....... (Continue your normal Cooking).
THIRD RECONSTRUCTION
1- Run "BuildOS.exe"
2- Run "ImgfsFromDump imgf.bin new-imgfs.bin"
3- Run "snbtool -c os.nb.BIN.NB0.OS.NB 2 imgfs_new.bin"
4- Run "osnbtool -extra os.nb.BIN.NB0.OS.NB.NEW"
5- Run "osnbtool -2bin os.nb.BIN.NB0.OS.NB.NEW.EXA"
6- Run "copy /B os.nb.Header + os.nb.BIN.NB0.OS.NB.NEW.EXA.BIN FLASH1.BIN"
7- The newly generated .BIN file from the last step will be YOUR NEW FLASH.BIN file
8- Copy the newly generated .BIN file as "FLASH.bin" to SD Card under Directory Named "UPDATE" ...(Done)
THE PROBLEM IS:
"Even" if I do NO MODIFICATION to the ported ROM, always "BuildOS" run with error
"The system can't find the path specified"
.....................
so the rest of the steps is just in HOLD
.....................
This is your turn now to find a solution

Hello,
Our Russian friend have cooked a ROM for the T3333.
EDIT : Saw the original english firmware link also (but can't post it :/).
EDIT2 : Q : How to put back KITL in disabled mode ?
Cannot post a link so search the dealextreme forum for a thread named 'T3333 only Russian' The link to d/l the firmware are there.
Used Google to translate.
Maybe you could change the Russian language to English and update the phone?
How about upgrading with the Russian ROM the do a CLEAN BOOT to get back with the original WM6.5 ?

1. Format the card in FAT32 "standard cluster size.
2. Download archive and unpack, rename FLASH.bin to flash.bin.
3. On the CF in the root folder, create "update" dir (just created, not copied from a computer) and throw the file there flash.bin.
4. To enter firmware. On the phone off: Hold the button icon winows "+ volume down + switch button.
5. To start the firmware push button volume up.

I'm sorry but your device is a clone, you need to find original rom for your device.
HTC Rom don't work. If you don't solve send me a pm and i hope help you

help
now i have updated my device succesfully,but now im having 2 problem.
1.when i switch on the phone it takes 2 or more mins to startup.
2.after startup phone works fine,but when the device goes to standby mode it power off completely and i have to take battery to power on again.
Any idea how to fix this?

then KITL mode appears press the passive key
after restarts
my phone is working fine as usual.

The first launch after the firmware is really long. Follow-up should be normal. Try hard reset.

Android not yet (and getting less likely every day I guess), but it should be possible to put a Czech ROM on your phone.
You can get a original ROM from one of our Czech users (he just dumped and rebuilt it) here:

If your phone is clone chinese you can't use original or reconstruct rom for mega original. Clone isn't same hardware. If you try you brick your phone

Hello,
i have T3333 dual sim but arrived to me with Russian ron...i want to install the english...i downloaded i do all the steps but when i press volume up to update from sd card gives me an error: copying file from sd card failed, the system will restart....what can i do to fix this?

i had the same problem and i fixed it....i entered the passive kitl and it's ok now...the problem that still remains is that i have a russian rom and i want to install english rom...when i choose at the phone to update from sd card it gives me error and cannot copy file, something like that....how did you install it?you told us in previous message that gave you error too...

Hola, yo compré el mismo dispositivo, en una página china, desafortunadamente pasó lo mismo con el kitl, pero ya lo arreglé, primero intenté remover la batería interna, pero es casi imposible, así que decidí intentar combinaciones de teclas, usé <vol+> + <vol->+< turn on >
y salío el menú del kitl, que dice que para desactivar se usa el botón de cámara, pero no lo tiene, así que por casualidad presioné el botón de logotipo de Windows, y booteó, luego lo conecté a la computadora y ¡oh sorpresa! se puede volver a sincronizar.
