Recently, my htc hd2 t-mobile touch screen became unresponsive to touch. I decidde to buy another htc hd2 t-mobile. Surprisingly, the display is not as crisp as one i had earlier. The colours are not vivid and cant compare the two. I am wondering, anyone faced similar problem? Can i make the screen to show more vivid colours?

DonĀ“t really see any difference on the shots.
Might be due to some protective coating or different pressures the digitizer is connected with the screen which changes the reflection behaviour of the unit.
its hard to get a good picture of it
there is no screen protection
should i call HTC to find out?
is there a way to change to colors somehow?
or am i just kind of screwed
the problem is its hard to notice unless you have two side by side
not many people have 2 HTC HD2s....
i want to know if anyone else like the other guy said that has the same problem
Does anyone else have both of these devices and have had a chance to compare the screens?
My new Flyer seems to have more of a yellowish tint against the pure white screen of the Galaxy Tab. Anyone else notice the same?
Looking at it alone, the screen looks good. However, next to the Tab, it definitely has a tint. Maybe a bad Flyer? Or the way it is supposed to be?
Thanks.
I can't really comment but remember that some screens are designed with a "cooler" tone (more blue-ish) and others with a "warmer" tone (more yellow-ish). If it only bugs you when you have it side by side with a Tab I suggest you don't sweat it (after all, how often will you be using both side by side?)
Today i got new Flyer and found the same issue. Its more yellowish and as i use Desire HD too, its very much noticeable and annoying I just wanted to know whether this is one of the units or all the Flyer's having same? If its only my unit then i can approach HTC service center
I have a GTab 10.1 and a View. I turned the brightness of both all the way up and yes, I think the View has an off-color tint. It's not unattractive or terribly noticeable by itself but I definitely see a difference.
Ill check it out when I get my flyer. I have the 7in gtab

I think its more that all Samsung devices have a blue tint to them. My wife's Samsung certainly does, while the Flyer looks neutral to me.
Hi, I recently dropped my One X+ which has chipped the glossy coating off the power button and cracked the screen (also affecting the LCD), I actually see this as a good opportunity to experiment with the screen. I was wondering whether the screen connector is the same as the original One X and if it would be possible to upgrade the screen to an original One X display which was roughly 25-30% brighter and had more balanced colours (the One X+ display is yellowish in comparison). Also I know that the One X has multiple display manufacturers, where can I purchase the bright Acer screen?

I'm literally staring at both my One X and One X+, both displays set to 100% both have identical home screens and I can't see a difference at all. Maybe it's because the're both from AT&T?

I can understand why you would think that, the One X+ actually has a very good display just not as good as the original international One x (maybe I should have stated that previously), The at&t model had the sony screen which was about the same as the One X+ screen, a tad yellow and around 400 nits bright, the international One X had the acer display, colder but overall more balanced, saturation was better and the brightness was around 550 nits, you can actually check on gsmarena for the exact specs. I compared with one of my relative`s original One X and there is a definite difference in brightness

Just purchased a replacement screen for my Vivid. Everything seemed to work until it was fully booted up. The screen has dead spots, if that is even the correct diagnosis!! Does anybody have any idea as to what I could do?
Hi,
I am asked to repair a broken screen of the X Pro ...second time.
For first replacement I ordered this part:
https://www.mobiltec24.de/BQ/Aquaris-X-Pro/LCD-Display-Touchscreen-Front-Rahmen-schwarz.html
But it was less responsive (especially the softkeys, but also in general), not as bright and not as colorful as the original screen.
Furthermore we faced random screen-freezes, which are gone after switching screen off/on.
Does anybody have a suggestion for me, where to buy a (hq/original) screen?
