[MORPH]Touchwiz Blue for Nero3 - 12/25/10 - Vibrant Themes and Apps

This morph basically transforms Nero3 to look more like Touchwiz(the blue look). All the images were taken from the Touchwiz JL5 leak, with the exception of some of the status bar icons. Credit goes to Camalot for those. I made this as a template for me to use to create more customized themes. I figured someone else could use this(even though there are already a few like this out)

(I'll get screenshots up later. If you want to see what these morph changes, just unzip the zip.)

Mod Requests/Ideas...

I'm looking to start a new metamorph project this week. So, I figured I'd ask the community if anyone had any requests of how they want their phone modded? If you have any ideas or requests of framework modifications (satus bar, status bar icons, battery, notification pulldown items settings menu, ex.), just let me know here or shoot me a PM and I'll see what I can do. Thanks!
I have posted this before but as far as I can tell no one has done it for eclair. I would like a set of black apps. I have the modded black dialer and would like someone to either create or help me create a black version of twitter, gmail and gtalk.
Black meaning the main screen are all black (aka no power used) with maybe a whitish text and grey highlight bar. I know this can be done as I have found it for froyo, I am just not ready to move to froyo yet as my bionix rom is nearly perfect.

I have yet to modify an app, but I will definitely give it a try. It must be easier then modding the framework anyway. Do you have any screenshots of the froyo version? Or better yet, a link to download the apps for froyo?
I am by no means trying to steal anyone elses hard work I have seen the black apps in froyo rom called 928BlackDroidGlass there is also a market and twitter addon. I have tried to re-create these apps in eclair by doing a file by file compare of a standard froyo version and this version then using the diff files making the same changes in the froyo version. I have so far failed miserably. There are about 10 xml files just for gtalk alone that need color changes it seems. It would seem almost all the changes are to the background color or text color. I know I am close but just cant get it working and just dont have enough time to re-trace and find my error. If you like when I am home I can send you the filenames and locations that I suspect are the xml files that need to be changed for the gtalk app.
I took a look and think I know which files your talking about, but definitely send me what you got and maybe we can get it working.
Honestly I just want a plain touchwiz stock battery mod like how it should be. I started working on it but haven't picked it back up. I just want the stock color blue no percentage and it be accurate and compatiable with JI6.

This is what I believe are all the files needed for GTALK
*** Layout
chat_screen.xml
chat_view.xml
custom_title.xml
group_chat_approval.xml
picture_view.xml
search_results.xml
set_status.xml
*** Values
colors.xml
*** Drawable
chat_item_background.xml
In each there are settings for background of test color. It appears if we reverse the colors on them we may get the desired effect but I cant get it to work. Color codes appear to be FF000000 and FFFFFFFF
Any help yuo can provide would be much appreciated. Would also love to do this for other apps as I mentioned previously but have not had time to do a file compare on anything else.
P.S. Remind me to send you my twframework and framework files, a combination of mods based on bioni and black mesh with notification icons by s0niqu3 (her skills are unparalleled) and the accurate segmented battery mod (green as dont like the blue).

You got it. I'm gonna get this up and running sometime this week. I take it you're on bionix?
Ps- I have created a blue battery mod WITH percentage ([Mod]Battery mod (blue, accurate) located somewhere in this thread. You can try it out to hold you over until I can get the new one up.

Sounds good. I'm away for the weekend, but I will contact you early next week. I'd like to get gmail running properly before moving on to other apps. Thanks for your help!

I would love this for all the Froyo ROMs that are out. Or any morphs for that matter!

Yeah I've used your mod and like it. Thanks for taking request. Like I said I started working on it but with a 2 an 3 year old and my wife working nights I have no time to dedicate to it. Thanks again!

[Theme\WIP] Stock-ish TouchWiz Theme for Eugene's Macnut R12 Series - Group Project

Hey everyone,
Ive just made the switch over to Eugene's MacnutR12 build from TW's Onyx\Obsidian. I'm having a lot of trouble getting a "stock-like" theme working on the Macnut due to the extensive framework modifications. It just boot loops if you do anything significant to it, and I havent found a good method around that yet. Anyone with more theming experience having anything to input? Thanks for your help!
I've attached what is a good starting point theme. I am basically attempting to mirror the "Stockish theme" that TeamWhiskey put together, but am stumbling along the way. I decided this would be a good community project to start. Please use the theme if you like it, and contribute to this thread if you modify it. Looking forward to what people can put together.
THIS IS ONLY FOR EUGENE363's MACNUTR12 BUILD
To Be Done
Redo the notification bar to look like TouchWiz - having issues w/ this personally, mainly w/ getting the power widget back back to normal size so we can use the stock images.
Already Done
Using customized Gmail (always display images) with colored notification
Updated Settings images with JunkDruggler - they looked better
Added in bits and pieces of TouchWiz images - from Stock 2.2 framework\TW's "stockish" framework
Added custom colored notification icons - Just cause I like them
Added "chromed" WiFi bars, will attempt to remake for 5 bar cell antenna - Found this somewhere, please let me know if you made these, you deserve proper credit
Added my segmented green battery mod - feel free to use whatever images you want, I like the segmented green ones.
For the meantime, enjoy my "basic" theme
Thanks to s0niqu3, Eugene363, Manup456, TeamWhiskey, & JunkDruggler for the modified images.
I really hope you manage to get this theme rolling. I actually really like the TouchWiz notification pane.
Here you go. These are bone stock framework files that work on Macnut R12. I made these to have the improvements that Eugene made in Macnut but with the stock look.
I used the framework files from the Macnut rom as the base and then made my png and xml edits to revert it back to stock look. There shouldn't be any lockups or random reboots.
Also, these don't contain the accurate battery mod but you should be able to add the appropriate pngs and xml files for that mod that you are already using and be fine.
Hope this helps!

.XML Edits

I'm looking for some help on xml edits.
I've included a snapshot of my drop down and was wondering how I could possibly turn the Carrier info white. Right now its a nasty grey due to the mods that were made in Obsidian.
Also, how easy would it be to put the Gingerbread toggles in place of the existing ones that I have? I have seen the AOSPish theme that is compatible with JK2, but I would just like a dark version of it like some of the various Gingerbread themes and such.
Any ideas?

[CM7] thin progress bars

using the theme chooser in CM7, i've been loading up honeycomb themes, but that orange volume bar has been driving me crazy.
here's the thin green holo-style volume.
i have to run to the office until late tonight, so if somebody could post a screenshot, that'd be awesome. i didn't even have enough time to put this in a proper update.zip so it still just says installing gapps or some pook.
just dl this then flash it in recovery, after a backup, or course.
i can throw the blue holo in later, if somebody wants it.
enjoy!
-rf
ps. this isn't for the progress bar everywhere. i'm new to MDPI so this is a start. i'm sure somebody w/ more experience and knowledge will do some more if not, i'll work on it more, later.
this appears to take universally if the right theme is chosen.
i have 3 honeycomb themes, but only 2 will allow the thin progress bars universally. minimal magic also seems to allow it once the XML edit is in the right place.
if yours doesn't work, try another theme that allows thin progress bars. i'll try to help if i'm around.
enjoy!
-rf
*edit*
- looked at zDuneX25's honeycomb theme. his XMLs don't point to the holos and indeterminates don't in MDPI, so no thin progress bars in that theme.
- haxzamatic's honeybread alpha 4 works
if you like the honeycomb style ring, sliding tab, or rotary lockscreen, you may like this. if you like the rotary revamped or lense one, i can make it if there are requests for it. it's in there but a bit pooky right now, since i never really use those.
after making a backup, just flash this in recovery.
enjoy!
-rf
ps. this honeycomb lock mod has the thin green progress bars included.
*edit* i found this out while doing the blue thin progress bars. just a note to myself, the theme's i ran were replacing the thin progress bars that are found in apps like TiBU (replacing the HDPI images), yet leaving the volume unchanged, which must be looking in the MDPI folder. now, to work on animated pulldown? animated pulldown done! i don't think anybody's reading this though so i'll just keep it for myself
can someone make this in thin blue bars ?
if anyone can make the bars blue id really appreciate .
i want to compile a CM blue theme

[MOD][THEME][CYANMOBILE][CM7] Jelly Bean inspired Theme

Hi!
I made a Jelly Bean inspired Theme for the new rom: CyanMobile eXperience [2.3.8][MB526]
Instructions:
- download the file
- copy to your SD Card
- install it with File Manager
- go to ThemeChooser, and apply
- ignore the warning, apply anyway
- REBOOT!!!
- after that, just use Your Phone!
If You find some bugs, errors or something, just report me here in post, or send me a private message! If You can, make a screenshot, so it is easier to find, what is the problem!
There are two different files, one for CyanMobile Experience, and one for "pure" CM7.
If You use some of CM7 version, than download: JBT v1.2
If You use CyanMobile Experience, than download: JBTEX v1.1
Here are a lot of screenshot for CM7 version and here for CyanMobile !
If You have any question, suggestion, support, or anything else, just find the way to do it!
hi,
it looks really nice but the system ui stat icons for off (e.x.com_android_systemui_stat_2g3g_off.png) are to dark, i can see it on the status bar is it possible to make it brighter?
the signal png never go blue and i have a H connection.
i use the maniac cm7 rom.
thnaks for your work
smoky
I updated the Theme, You can download here: JBT v1.1
Now the power widget OFF color is the same, as the icons on the statusbar. It is more visible on Sunshine
Edit: At ThemeChooser, it's no preview screen. It's a windows bug.
Edit_2: The H connection problem: I don't know, what is the problem, I tryed it now, and at me everything looks good. Anyone else, who has the problem, that the signal bars don't go blue? (see attached file below)
plzz....support mdpi
thanks
MDPI
It's difficult, to support MDPI size. I made this theme for my Defy, an it's HDPI, so the theme is also HDPI ONLY!
And why? Because when I change something, I can verify that looks good, it fits, the color or something is good or not.
Unfortunately I don't have any phone with mdpi screen, so I can't test. That is the reason for HDPI only.
Hi there, I'm using it on my Defy+ (with CMX) atm, and I love it.
Thank you
I have, one simple question thou. I happen to have a little bit diffrent color (cyan) than the one your screenshoot (lightblue).
All I found was how to change color of diffrent items, or global font color, but...
Is there easy way to change the whole color setup so it would look exactly like on the screenshoot? Oh, and btw, may I know the hex code for that lightblue color of yours?

Hi!
Ideally the color change automatically, but in CMX I find this bug too, but for me was just the lockscreen, what doesn't changed the color. If You go to Settings (I use now euroskank, so sorry, if I don't remember exactly where You sould go), CyanMobile Settings - Interface tweaks - Status bar tweaks - here You find a lot of "xyz color" , and the hex code is the right color ( ff33b5e5 ), just the system can't change. Just choose the option, that you want to change the color, then pick in the middle of the color circle, and it will be change!
The colors, what I used, is the same as find HERE, but what You looking for is: 33b5e5 !
Thanks, looks great
Great theme, could you change the color text of the "state" of the sms? I mean, Sent at 13:28, because I use the black wallpaper in mms.apk, and the color text is black, so I can't see it, im using CM7, thanks.
Thanks for reporting, I changed the color to blue. The new version have some minor updates too.
Download:
JBT v1.2
JBTEX v1.1
I changed the files in the first post too.

but a problem with program |: phone.apk
the numbers are very big in dialer and are not fit wiz screen
and i think beautiful and smaller signal bars can make the theme more awsome
nice.
Thanks!
Change the color for incoming notification. Blue on black is hard to read.
