Heads up. My lightly used three year old Dell BH200 Bluetooth headphones connected right up and performed perfectly last night while streaming full episodes from TV.com. My tech level is pretty much nothing.
Now if I could only get the video more stable.
Ditto my Motorola DJ headphones...

Anyone familiar with the RF-MAB2 stereo Bluetooth headsets?? read some pretty good reviews about them and was thinking of getting one..
any help regarding sound quality (especially bass response) and overall compatibility with X10 will be greatly appreciated..
any better headsets suggestions is also welcome..
Thanx in advance..
wow.. nobody ?
I have the other rocket fish model of stereo bluetooth headset and they work very well. Sound its good, battery life is good. The only complaint is people say I sound far away when I'm on a phone call.

I was actually looking for inexpensive bluetooth headphones a few months ago and ended up buying the RF-MAB2. I've had no issues with them.
The battery life is great, I use them for around an hour each day and they typically last me a week and a half.
The controls on the headphones work good too. Has volume controls, next/prev song, play/pause and the power/call answer/hangup/ voice command button.
Audio quality is fine. Obviously it isn't going to be super awesome like some high end headphones but it's definitely good.
I'd recommend them to you if you are looking for decent, inexpensive BT headphones.
I'm not sure if this is a problem with the phone, the bluetooth or the headphones but if I have the wifi and the bluetooth on on my phone at the same time the music skips a lot... took me a while to figure out it was the wifi doing it so if you are using them on wifi and they skip you gotta shut off the wifi, other than that they are great
Thanks a lot for the help guys. Think Im gonna get myself a Rocketfish.. (love the name )..
If it's any difference I also have a 5.1 Surround Sound Rocketfish sound card in my comp and it works brilliantly
With what I've bought from them I haven't had any problems.
ahhh.. BT headphones..
I've owned the Motorola HT820. VERY durable. Excellent battery life. Amazing sound
and its replacement, the Nokia BT509. the only downside to this is it uses Nokia's charge plug as the HT820's used a USB. Both are comfortable to wear for any duration of time. Call quality about the same on both..
if you want awesome bass, get some Meelec R1, wooden headphones, pretty awesome
I have the Rocketfish RF-MAB2 Bluetooth High-Def. Stereo Headset and am experiencing way too much skip!
I have tried turning off wifi and data without any success. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
I also have the motorola t505 for my car and it works flawlessly.
I was assuming it was the headset that was the problem and not the settings on the phone until I used the same headset on my Samsung Focus? There is no skip on the windows phone! (Don't flame for saying windows phone, I purchased it off ebay to see how it works!)
Does anyone have experience with these headsets and the Transformer? I recently purchased both to do a comparison.
The S9-HD sound awesome but the Bluetooth connection with it is really bad. I frequently get drops in audio. It also seems to be messing with the Transformer's WiFi connection because my WiFi will show disconnected ever few minutes. This problem occurs frequently when using Pandora. I've tried checking the "Bluetooth" option but I get the same issues. When the audio drops, it will often skip to the next song when the audio comes back.
The S10-HD does not have any of the technical problems but the sound quality does not even come close to the S9-HD. I really want to keep the S9-HD. Is there any fix for the issues I've come across? Any word on S11-HD being release?
Sorry if this is OT, but I use the Sony MW600 and it works great. Nice and cheap stereo bluetooth. However, it's an in-ear headset that some people dislike.
I have the normal (not HD) S9's and they work fine. They don't affect wifi at all and they work up to a nice distance away from the TF. Can't comment on the HD versions though obviously.
reall, the s9-hd's have better quality then the s10-hd's?
I've had the s10 hd's since last november and love them, works great with the tf, my streak, and bb.
The phone's been pretty good so far, except for the Bluetooth output. I have a Bluetooth stereo in my car that I used constantly with my OG Evo and it worked great; I could play with it, walk around the car with it in my pocket, etc, and it would still play the audio flawlessly. With the 3D though, it has to be sitting out in the open. If I grab it, the audio cuts in and out. Even if I hover my hand a couple of inches above it cuts in and out (which should be cause enough for a replacement since the phone and receiver are literally two feet away from each other). This does not make me a happy panda.
Is anybody else having Bluetooth issues? Can anybody test theirs out to see if the problem exists outside of just mine???
paired with my xps15 ..playing VanHalen walked the 3vo two rooms over( about 50 feet) and still playing ..pissing the gf off tho ...she wanna know why I'm playing around with my new toy ...well ...gotta go ..gnight all
It has been solid for me so far. My happiest moment was when I tagged the button on my Plantronics 655 and voice dialed the wife. Haven't been able to do that since the WinMob days.
Haven't tried to pair mine with my Sony head unit, I'll report back if i can remember to tonight
Thanks guys. Sounds like it might be isolated to just mine. Looks like I might might be visiting Sprint again soon to get a replacement. So sad considering that I just traded in my original launch-day Evo that never had a single problem with it
Just reporting back in...
A2DP on this phone paired with my car's headunit is the most rock solid A2DP connection i've ever had. My epic would occasionally skip, and it was noticible that the driver sped up and slowed down to compensate for connection variations... but with the 3vo, you wouldn't have known the difference if i had plugged it in the 3.5mm jack.
I have mine paired with a Blackberry stereo receiver which is in my glovebox. This morning, I got out of the car to fill up my gas tank and grabbed my phone out of habit. When I was done filling, I tossed my phone into my pocket and hopped back into the car before I realized that I had been moving all around with my audio source. The streaming Pandora didn't stutter once through all of that
I think It's the best connection I've ever had.

I'm having much better Bluetooth quality with my E3D than I did with my Evo. With my OG Evo, if my phone was in my pocket and I turned my head to the right (with Motorolo S305 Bluetooth headphones), the signal would cut in and out. However, with my E3D, I haven't had a single problem with it at all yet.
I have the same setup, no problems whatsoever
Hey everyone,
So I usually use my cars built-in Bluetooth system for calls as well as music. Since I switched to the GSIII i have had terrible phone audio over my cars speakers. The audio will be perfectly clear for a couple seconds then fade to almost nothing for another 2, then clear again, this just keeps going on and on. I end up missing half of what was said. The music audio, however, has been perfect, better quality than my old phone even.
I never had any issues with my old Atrix, the audio was always consistent, same car and settings.
To those who managed to get the phone early like me, how has your experience been with bluetooth phone calls?
I 've been using it in the car since the past week and it has been pretty smooth for me. The audio and signal are both perfect.

Anyone else having Bluetooth audio stutters or skips? Getting some a few times per song while using a Bowers & Wilkins PX. Very annoying Had no issues with Bluetooth on my previous Galaxy S8.
Tried deactivating Dolby Atmos and made sure any other sound enhancement was turned off.
Thanks,
Art
I get stutter on Bluetooth when a WhatsApp message comes in running poweramp.
Possible fix found. Read on a forum post for another phone which suggested clearing the cache for the Bluetooth apps. Cleared all three that I found as system apps, and it has been skip free for a day and a half.
Indoors or out? I get bad skipping outside in NYC with my Momentum 2 Wireless, worse than it was on my S7 (which wasn't great). Problems with my Sony car stereo too, it stutters and disconnects entirely, and won't reconnect automatically unless I tell the receiver to do it.
I thought it had to do with being linked to an Android Watch at the same time, so I turned off my Huawei Watch outdoors. Sounded fine on Friday, but the drops were even worse this evening.
funny i had problems on iphone 7 plus but none with this s9 yet
Factory reset didn't even fix it
I had no problems until about a week ago. I listen to music in my Honda Civic and Sony SRS-XB31 speaker every day. Occasionally on my JBL Clip 3 while riding my bike around. Last week my Sony speaker started crackling and pausing my Pandora. I switched to my JBL and had no issues and my car has worked fine. Today things were so bad I did a factory reset. Even with bluetooth turned off my Pandora was pausing up (even after restart). I've got an old S7 at home that I can use for music and has no issues on any speaker, but this is really annoying that my newer phone is useless for music now. Things still work fine in my Honda Civic, but all of my bluetooth speakers have been rendered useless because of my S9+... This may be the end of my Samsung preference if they don't hurry up with a fix. I wish they would just roll back the bluetooth update or something..
