I have just installed darkstone's SuperRAM build and FM Radio application needs to turn on Bluetooth to play radio.
Why the hell do i need bluetooth? I already have the headphones plugged in.
When i turn off bluetooth, radio turns off.
EDIT: oops, can someone please move that to android Q&A?

I just upgraded from 3.35 to 3.56 and I am having a problem with bluetooth. With 3.35, I could connect to a device using hands free and the audio would pass through the bluetooth device even if I had a head phone plug into the usb port. With 3.56, if I have a head phone plugged into the usb port then the audio is shunted to the usb port instead of the bluetooth device. (Before someone asks--- I have my car setup to allow me to listen to music from the phone and to also have hands free bluetooth working... NOTE my car's bluetooth doesn't support A2DP).
In other words, is there a registry key that will force bluetooth audio to supersede the usb port so that I can get 3.56 to behave the way 3.35 did?
Thanks
Try the new Radio(3.42.30),I had a few problem with my Plantronics Voyager 855 A2DP BT headset, after my updated to the new radio, the problem seemed go away.

I am using the new radio (3.42.30)... I upgraded the radio a few days before I upgraded the ROM. The new radio is a big improvement over the older radio but unfortunately, it isn't related to the problem I'm having. This is a difference in the bluetooth implementation between 3.35 and 3.56 roms... I hope there is a work around otherwise, I will be forced to revert back to 3.35. Oh well....
Thanks
I found the fix!!!
This is the registry key
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\AudioPath]
"AudioPathSwitchToWired"=dword:00000000
If AudioPathSwitchToWired = 0 then bluetooth will be the primary output
If AudioPathSwitchToWired = 1 then usb audio will be the primary output (Default setting)
So with the release of CM7 has there been any work done into using the FM Radio that's on the NC's wireless radio's chip?
NC is totally awesome before CM7 and it's just astounding now but FM Radio and proxy settings are the two last pieces of the puzzle that I need to make it absolutely perfect.
The FM chip isn't connected to an antenna so it won't work. Only the bluetooth is connected to an antenna hence it working in CM7.
Been using TuneIn Radio just fine. I enjoy listening to the radio as I'm reading. also you may what to try Pandora Radio.
oh, I should mention that you'll need a wifi connection for the internet radios.
I was just curious if there was any way to setup BT auto connect instead of having to manually connect each time to my stereo in my scion...
questions,
1. when you first paired did you have the player find the radio or the radio find the player, I find with my pioneer radios I've owned with Bluetooth the radio has to find the player for the autoconnect of the bluetooth to work.
2. Scions, unless they've changed came with factory pioneer radios with the car on and the radio OFF hold the Function (or other buttons, varies with model) to get into the menu that lets you set the radio clock and other things like that and make sure autoconnect is ON.
Hi!
Does anyone know how to use FM radio without headphones plugged in?
My phone is running the latest RR ROM and I have a bluetooth headphone. I'm not able to use FM radio because it requires a wired headphone plugged in. I tried to plug-in just the P2 conector, not the entire wired thing, but, my phone didn't recognize it as a headphone, so, it kept asking for a wired headphone plugged in.
I saw some tutorials about modifying the FM Radio APK, but, they are like too old and doesn't have the same files and stuff.
Thanks!

Hi!! I was wondering if there's any way of listening to the fm radio through the Bluetooth headset instead of using the wire one or the speakers. I saw on the Samsung s9 that the radio app has and option to output the sound through the Bluetooth device connected but on the poco is doesn't exist.
I tried to install the s9 apk into the poco but it didn't work and I don't see that the poco has any way of selecting when having Bluetooth and wire headset connected.
I know that the wire on the headset works as the fm antena but I make it work just by cutting the plug of an old headset and plugging it in to trick the radio, now all I need is to be able to redirect the sound to the Bluetooth
I'd expect there would be an app that can just copy the audio output that's going to the headphones to the BT output.
There's an app called TuneIn Radio that might be able to deliver local radio stations without using the actual FM receiver if you have WiFi or mobile data on. When I tried it it wanted my location then offered some local radio stations.

Random article about doing that in Android 11 with supported apps: https://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-change-audio-output-on-android
Just buy a cheap earphones, cut the 3.5mm Jack and leave it
If there should be a magisk module that can even spoof physical port as it's connected or particularly spoof fm app that device is connected with headphone then that'd be great!

->>>non reliable (like in my case fails some time) no root require
--install apk from play store : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nordskog.LesserAudioSwitch
---than change to headset after that fm start working(than turn on speaker)
---to route on blutooth just change output(android 11+ or some custom roms) to Bluetooth
->>>reliable means always works root requires
--Just flash magisk module lsposed(zygisk version preferred) :- https://github.com/LSPosed/LSPosed/releases/tag/v1.8.3
--Than after reboot install Xposed module(apk) : https://dl-xda.xposed.info/modules/...xoverrideheadphonejackdetection_v5_547951.apk
---Than activate module choose system framwork , now you can manually change to
headset than fm start working
---and if you want to route fm to blutooth just change(for android 11+ or some custom rom) output to Bluetooth.
