Sometimes my phone dies when a call or a message is coming, and when I reset the phone I cannot find out who called me or what the message is. What can I do about it?

I did that before, by the way my phone's memory isn't drained, at least 30percent is left. Thank you for any further help.

I didn't use it for a long time, but during the time I used it never happened.
Just flash your original rom, I think your phone will work a lot better, if you flashed your device vere often with cooked rom's, the phone will not react the way it should.
Just a small tip, if you flash your phone 6 or 7 times with a cooked version, just go back to your original rom and after you flashed the original you can flash 6 or 7 cooked versions again.
It is better to flash from sd-card.

Hi, I tried to install the Energy ROM but it didn't work. It freezes at 0% & I had to remove my battery & try again. I did it 3 times & same thing. BTW I have the latest T-Mobile HD2. Please help...........thx.
Install the radio that is mentioned by NRGZ28 in ine of the first posts. It should solve your issue.
NRGZ28 said:
BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD AND FLASH ANY OF THESE ROMS, MAKE SURE YOUR RADIO VERSION IS AT LEAST 2.07.50 (not 51! any .50 version should be okay) , OR YOUR PHONE WILL NOT BOOTUP AFTER YOU FLASH !
I RECOMMEND FLASHING RADIO 2.07.50 WHICH CAN BE FOUND HERE > CLICK <
IF YOU HAVE A TMOBILE USA DEVICE, THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO FLASH A NEW RADIO, BUT 2.07.50 IS STILL RECOMMENDED TO WORK BEST WITH THIS ROM.

Might be a silly question but did you install HSPL3, you need it before you flash anything ....
EDIT:
You need HSPL before you flash anything OTHER than a stock ROM ....
thank you! this might be the problem......i'm gonna try again tonight.
What was the problem? Seriously the HSPL? But I guess you couldn't even start flashing without, or not?!

Follow the advice given on the first few posts of NRGZ ROMs thread verbatim and you won't have any trouble. Don't just jump onto installing them. And yes, do perform Task29 before flashing a new ROM. It's always a good practice.
devote at least 2 days in going through each and every article on flashing that is available on our beloved xda-developers fora!
Hello all!
I just rooted my HTC Amaze 4G yesterday. I used "[ROM] Android Revolution HD™ 1.1.0" because I needed Arabic supported on my Android.
Anyways, now I have Arabic fully supported, which is great. the phone is fast, and it is now actually 4G instead of 3G, which is better i'm assuming.. (when I got the phone few days ago, it was showing me that it's running on 3g)
so all that is great, however, I have few problems that I can't pretend they don't exist!
-----------
first, the camera now isn't working probably, when you press the camera button, you see a scrambled picture, however when you take the photo, it looks normal... I'll upload the photo I took of it.
second, when I come to play a video, whether it's Youtube or any other vid, the picture is also scrambled and it's impossible to see.
third, the Tethering isn't working at all! it says "error" when I try to turn the feature on.
so far that's all the problems I discover since I installed the ROM. not sure if there is anymore!
I looked in the forums, and on google on how to fix them, but it doesn't seem that a lot of people having the same problems.
does anyone know how to fix these issues? and if they are not fixable, is there a way to uninstall the ROM but still keep the Arabic supported????
all I need is the Arabic to be supported, and of course no issues with the phone.

Make Sure you intall the ROM EXACTLY how it shows you, if you get errors, do it again
^^^^^ I would do that also. And if it doesn't work, download super wipe script (if you havent) and use it before flashing, I use it for all the roms I flash, even though its made for ARHD

I followed the thread word by word... I spent 7 hours yesterday rooting it!!!!!!
at first it didn't work, but I kept trying until everything went fine with no errors at all.
is there a way to get rid of it and just install another ROM? I also noticed that the phone now takes forever to boot up!!
Thanks for your reply BTW!

Use superwipe and flash the ROM again. Install the Arabic patch. You should be fine.

I did download super wipe script and ran it before flashing. just as a thread said...
I wonder if running the super wipe now would get rid of the Rev HD and allow me to install Stock ROM?!
I'm not that geek with Android as i'm new to it

Well I wouldn't go back to stock there are a lot of other roms to try, at this moment, I would HIGHLY reccomend you use Energy Rom, great theme, very stable, and great batt life

I will try that, and what is I want to flash another ROM, do I need to get rid of the rev hd or I can just flash another one after using the superwipe? and will that cause the Arabic patch to stop working?
so if I want to have a stock ROM and Arabic Patch, would they work together?
sorry for being too naive lol

OK! that's cool with me... I can play around with the ROMs, you know removing one and adding another, as long as they work with the Arabic Patch
if i want to go ahead and use Energy Rom, all I need to do is do superwipe, and flash the Rom, am I right?
thanks again co

ok, so I tried this again. used super wipe, flashed the ROM and installed the arabic patch.... no errors.... and still same problems.
I'm in the process of trying Energy ROM! let's see!
I flashed Energy ROM.. still exact same problems
I basically did superwipe. then flash. then arabic patch...
the arabic is supported, but again no fix for the other 3 problems :'(
Does it happen AFTER you flash the patch or no?

well, it seems to be after the patch, that's why i'm not installing the patch right now. just the rom... i'll see if that was the problem in a bit
it just finished flashing... still same issues.
No patch, no arabic supportd, and still same issues.
no idea what am i doing wrong!!!
is there anyway to undo the ROM. so just basically go back to the original system without losing the "root" on my device... this is my second day trying to get the device to be usefull!... I was an "Apple" person, and things there are much easier,... i'm starting to hate android!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still don't get it, why doesn't google have Arabic supported on their devices... it's one of the most demanded feature that people ask for it in their phones!
Ah!!
Wallah ana ma b3rif lol. They should add it in.
You can install a prerooted ROM or go back to stock and install root.

Hello All!
I have posted a thread a while ago about my htc amaze having so many issues after rooting and installing ROMs.
Luckly, I was able to return my phone and get it exchanged as I only had it for 1 week... so I got saved!
Now, with my new one, I still want it to be able to read Arabic correctly!
Rooting the device isn't the issue, I think I did it the first time with no problems (except for installing the ROM)
It seems like because I'm with "Wind Mobile" I can't flash the device, and I can't even get ICS when it becomes available.... I guess Wind customers are out of luck! (at least that's what I have been reading online)
I'm very new to Android world, and I like the phone the way it is except for supporting languages.
So I don't care if it's rooted or not, and all of these cool stuff. I just want Arabic!
My questions are:
1- Can I root my device, and add a patch without adding custom ROMs as I don't want to reck my phone again
So I want to keep the current ROM. "stock". and still add the patch. is this doable?
2- Regarding ICS. When the update comes out, will it be to specific cell phone carriers? I mean if you are with T-mobile -for example- you're good, and if not too bad?
does it depend on which company you are with, or just which phone you have?
I think that's it for today, lol... I'll wait for your answers
Thanks in advance!
well, the easiest way to get root is to flash a custom rom,
if you have the device rooted with stock, you could just flash the patch
if there is an ICS rom, you should be able to flash it

Thank you EclipzeRemix for replying!
Actually that is very promising, you gave me hope, and your reply is very encouraging!!!
So basically when the ROM (the offical one) comes out then I can flash it regardless of which company I'm with right?
just making sure I got it right lol
