Before you start reading this thread, i just want to let you know that this is a fun, but pointless thing to do...

Been mucking around with remote desktop connection, and it turns out that the NookColor make an excellent remote .
first of all i get an app from the android market called "Xtralogic Remote Desktop Client" its pretty cheap from the android market. i then set up remote desktop connection on my windows 7 ultimate laptop...
anyways the rest of this is best explained through the use of pictures;
first of all i go to my app drawer and open the app (no @%$# sherlock ):
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
i then input the settings for the connection on the app:
i find its best to set the resolution to "fit screen automaticaly" for the fastest connection.
i then proceed to muck around :
anyway, this is just showing people how easy and fun it is to set up a connection... i was FINALLY able to fulfill my dream of playing Age Of Mythology on my Nook... even if it was a bit laggy.
BTW. flash works nice doing this AS LONG as you have a good connection.
Teamviewer has a free app for this as well. Check it out HERE
I use PocketCloud for my VNC connection. It works great, but I may try those mentioned above.
To wake up the system I use Wol Wake on Lan Wan.
I also manage my torrents remotely using Transdroid with uTorrent.
The problem I had was trying to get everything to forward correctly.

When I am using the Prime, it seems I can only use 1 window at a time.
Example: if I stream from Youtube, and want to check "WiFi analyzer or Speedtest", the stream is interrupted.
Is there a way that the tablet can allow me to have several task running, like in the above example or similar?
Well for that example you listed you can get an app called stickit. It allows you to watch your videos or streams while doing whatever else you want. Its just like a PC when you bring up a movie screen then you can resize it and move it all over tthe screen. For example I can be browsing the web while watching the video in the little screen. You can make screen as big or small as you want. It plays continuously and doesn't stop no matter what you doing. The screen follows you wherever you go until you close it.
Here is screenshot example I just took. Love this app.

Anyway, yeah, there's no stock way to do what you want. Demandarin, that's a great app! I just don't understand why ICS doesn't have such things built in, you'd think they'd be trying to push true multi-tasking at the user's discretion.
Seems to me that Google's just not trying to replace PC's like I'd like them to. I love messing around with my x86 Honeycomb (beats the hell out of Windows 8).

Wow! Thanks for the tip. I thought I was going to have to wait for Cornerstone for something like this. Does Stickit work with any stream app or site?

Solution for TTPod
Put This Proxy Address in your WiFi or Internet Settings.
Use it only when you want to access TTPod Services,
Else Disable it.
what about adroid phone?

Install ProxyDroid (Free) from Play, set it for per app proxy on ttpod so it would not affect your normal browsing..
Doesn't work

It does let you connect and update content on iPad but, neither online search works nor the song playback using these settings. :crying:

Here is the screenshot.
Please help if you have got any other fix.
If you're lucky enough...this worked for me!
I also hate "IP RESTRICTED" made me very mad!!! Try this if you are lucky enough to be on an android device with titanium backup, roll back to the earlier version of TTPOD. I switched back to a version I had on backup 5.4.0516 that allowed me to be able to search, listen to/stream, and download songs again as was normal. I hope this helps, please spread the word (if it does)!!! Let's get everyone back on the working TTPOD!!!
It worked for me, I hope that it will work for others too!

Proxydroid needs Android to be rooted to run. Is there an app to run without root?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition does a lot of things really well; Here are five apps that make it a better, more functional device;
1. GMD GestureControl: Definitely worth $4.99, makes the tablet way more user friendly, and gives you a more intuitive way to control your Note.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodmooddroid.gesturecontrol&hl=en
2.Dsploit: Gives you the ability to know more about your network, and do some pretty specific network admin stuff like deny certain people service, reroute everyone's internet traffic that is connected to your router to a site of your choosing, stuff like that. Check it out for yourself, but be aware that it is functional and does have features that may be legally and morally objectionable. (not a big deal, just needs to be said).
http://dsploit.net/
3. Clash of Clans: Free, and makes me happy I know, it doesn't add functionality, but I put it in the video anyway. (and if you remove this, you still get your 5 apps that add functionality!)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.supercell.clashofclans
4. XBMC: its the Xbox Media Center app, coupled with Navi-X lets you watch pretty much any movie out there, and even some that have yet to come out....
http://xbmc.org/download/
5. Wifi Analyzer: My most favorite app, because I'm always setting up someone's WiFi. It gives you a more fine tuned view of the surrounding wifi environment. It also lets you connect to wifi access points through the app (well, you can after you download another little free piece of the app).
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.farproc.wifi.analyzer&hl=en
6. Pry-Fi: free, but gives you a chance to donate. Changes your MAC address, but needs root; It actually works, however I've found that it only works with DutchDanny's custom BinDroid kernel (v003 is what I have it running on), at least on this tablet. It also changes your broadcast MAC address when your not on a network, and withholds your known SSID list from being broadcast. Pretty useful, eh, I think it is
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.pryfi
ps: my cat is always in my business, so I just let him do what he wants to do; that's why his foot is in the picture
Ok, so XBMC doesn't work properly on our device (SM-P600) because it needs hardware acceleration, but only the nightly build has that. So, I about to start a thread on how to get the nightly build of xbmc to run Navi-X.

The lightspeed system is blocking websites on my Chromebook but now it blocked the terminal as shown below. I was wondering if it is possible to block or remove it while it was added by my school admin. Btw, I'm in 7th grade and I can't download extensions except for the ones the school allows. I've noticed that turning off the internet before logging in stops it from blocking the terminal but I can't download packages. I also noticed that stopping the task in the task manager delays it and if you keep on stopping the task it won't work. Is there a way to stop it from stopping me from using the terminal while using the internet without doing anything with the hardware because my parents wouldn't really like it if I did that, and I know almost nothing about hardware. The system my school uses is the 'Lightspeed Relay Filter.'
If you could help that would be great.

https://64.227.120.231/ put this thingy in the search bar. it cant unblock stuff permanently but it can take you to any website you want, and since its an ID, not an actual link it can't be blocked.
Also, yes, this works. I have lightspeed filters on my school device and I use this all the time.

Doesn't let me, because my school blocks any unknown websites, I believe it is considered a website as it blocks terminal because it is considered unknown too, which is also an app, not a link. Lightspeed systems is ruthless, I've found the best way so far is to try to put the link in internet archive and view it there, as it is unlikely to be blocked. (It also blocks basically any proxy website, hell they even blocked Wikipedia for a bit.)
