Is there any app or any way to make a "real" WiFi router out of my HTC HD2?
My problem is that the app "Wi Fi Router" jsut creates an Ad-Hoc network. But I want that "Infrastructure" Network. Because Iw ant to connect my 7Links IP Camera directly to my Phone and the Camera doesn't support Ad-Hoc networking (the Manuel does not tell this but it won't connect...)
Any ideas?
Or is there any way to make my laptop to such a WiFi spot?

I know it is technically possible to broadcast internet through the phones WiFi Router, but I found that I can only transmit the signal I recieve from 2G/3G etc.. My question is can I use my desktop PC as a source of internet (through the usb cable) through activesync and then broadcast it through WiFI. Iam asking this question, as my wifi router is now dead and Ive lost my wifi network, so I need a substitute until I recieve my new router.

On my phone I have a voip client from my company, which works only on wifi.
My 3g connection is faster than wifi, so I would like to reach, that my mobile connection should looks like as wifi for that program.
Or is it possible somehow, to connect to my own wifi what I'm tethering from the same phone?
Or emulate that the mobile broadband is a wifi for the system?
I'm using android 2.3.7 on a hd2

Hi, does anyone know how to use wifi direct to establish a network. So that other device can use wifi to connect to my wifi direct network.
is there a way to use the wifi network just for lan and the 3g network for internet at the same time?
i'll explain my issue:
when i connect my phone to my odb2 dongle using wifi i can use the odb2 interface but i have no access to internet...
while driving i'd like to record my car activity and use internet as well.
so i need wifi on to connect to the odb2 (but no internet access)
and 3g to use internet at the same time.
i've googled it but unsuccesfully.
do you have any suggestion?
ps: my device is a note3 (unrooted)
