i have updated my xperia mini with the latest update and as said im not able to ROOT!! my device with any of the apps.....Build 2.0.2.a.0.24
how can i downgrade plz help me with tutorial plzzzzz
i think root methode is not available for this version yet. either wait for new root methode or downgrade to last version.

Downgrade with X10 Flasher from b4nary and root with zdzihu prerooted 2.02.A.0.24 for Xrecovery. Search Forum and you will find how to do it.
Flash with THIS, install THIS, then THIS, and you'll have an up to date and rooted X10.
Anyway, you can root stock .24 firmware now without flashing to the pre-rooted version.

other question: i have updated firmeare for 504 version with update.zip method.
In version it says that i have u20i but on the back of the phone is says a10i.... why is this difference? all works ok !

Take a look at the x10 mini pro section, when it's booting you'll see it on the mini too
a20i/u20i = mini pro (keyboard)
a10i/u10i = mini (no keyboard)

Dude when it says that your mobile is already up to date,and still you didn't got the latest update....then try the repair option on SEUS or SEPC.

after OTA update I am not able to root my phone (Xperia Pro). Unfortunately I am also unable to find working download link to get my generic ROM:
Generic MK16i (Pro) 4.0.2.A.0.42 (1249-7510)
There is already similar thread in dev section of Xperia Arc forum, but I am not able to post there yet.
Does anybody have a working link to the ftf file or should I better try Wotanserver? I need to downgrade because the zergrush is not able to root my phone using actual 0.62 fw.

i'm also searching for generic rom .58 ftf file for my mk16i since wotanserver is not longer free ..
i need it for a future use if something wrong happen ..
i don't want use pcc or seus since it will update to .62 fw and loss my root ..
but , maybe u should use wotanserver if u really need it ..
