Hello,
I installed the Folio Mod V1.3... wonderfull, not the same tablet at all. I hope TOSHIBA will publish some official updates taking what you did into account, because to be honest I prefer to stay "official" than tweaking it...
Nevertheless, has anyone succeeded in pairing an Iphone4 (not jailbroken) to the FOLIO100 in Bluetooth?
I can't...
Thanks,
Alain

Hi guys and gals,
I've recently bought an Archos 101 Internet Tablet with 16GB as a real bargain (169 Euro) and now it's lying still boxed on my table and I ask myself, what should I do
BTW, is this a GEN8 oder GEN9 device?
I thought that this could be a great deal when it's possible to install CyanogenMod 7.x on the 101 - but as I read for now this is not that easy as I thought
There's obviously a way installing CM7 over openAOS, but with massive restrictions like not-working
Audio
Bluetooth
Accelerometer
accelerated Video decoding
Suspend
TS calibration on A28/A32/A43
This is really disappointing, because I really like CM7 ported to other devices I know...
So, back to my thread-title: should I unbox the 101 and start to use it, hoping that CM7 will work on it without any restrictions one fine day? Or shoud I send it back to the seller and get my money back?
And: what alternative cheap tablet with Android, a big community AND the ability to install a "normal" CM7 should I buy?
Best regards and thanks for your thoughts

Hi,
you have a Gen 8 tablet. I haven't tried CM7 on my tablet yet (Doesn't look stable enough for me yet), but have you looked into Urukdroid? It is fully functional, and adds some neat things like being able to use a DVB stick to watch TV.
The first alternative tablet I can think of is the Nook Color. I hear that has CM7, and is about the same price (150 euros).
If all you want to do is play video and you're stuck on the 150 price range, go with the 101 for the price, although the screen is terrible. CM7 runs very well on the Nook Color, but it's a 7" screen and video playback is terrible. For very little extra money you can get either the kindle fire or nook tablet and have something much better.

To rectify some things on RC bull release openAOS:
Audio works for CM7
Bluetooth works for CM7
Accelerometer works for CM7
accelerated Video decoding is not working for CM7
Suspend is working, however there still seem to be some issues
TS calibration for A32 and A43 is working A28 we do not support
Is it a stable release? No far from that it still needs a lot of work.

Is there any way to create a flash able zip that could add support for the apple magic track pad to the pre alpha build of cm9? I know it is supported in some custom roms but hc 3.2 touchwiz did not have support and neither does cm9? So is there any way to add support or should I just wait for an official build of cm9?
Any help is greatly appreciated
Clarification:
Also when connecting to the track pad it pairs perfectly and my tab even recognizes it as the apple magic trackpad, but my guess is do to lack of support the pointer does not appear and the trackpad is quite useless. I bought this back when I first got my tab and I wasn't able to locally purchase any bt mouse's because my local tech shops are quite bad at having things in stock. So I'm kinda stuck with the trackpad and don't want it to become an expensive paperweight.
Once again thanks in advance for any help
I don't have a galaxy, but I'm interested in the outcome of this. I wonder if there is some kind of generic magic trackpad support that can be compiled in? On devices like the nexus, surely they didn't spend a lot of time coding in the trackpad just for that device - surely they're leveraging a generic driver?
Hi everyone,
I own a Chevy Camaro SS 2012 that has Bluetooth handsfree built in. Works like a charm with my friends LG phone with Android, as well as with my company iPhone 4S.
But with my Samsung Galaxy Nexus running native Android 4.2.2 it will pair just fine, but I am only able to hear the sound and use the mic in the car, but not engage any functions nor access the contacts list. So I cannot answer calls, or make new ones etc...
The problem is not in the car as it works fine with other phones, and I've tried to reset everything on both the phone and in the car and then re-pair them, without any success. Nobody on the Camaro forums knows how to proceed.
You guys are my last chance of hope! I have no clue of how to continue
Thank you all in advance!
It appears that something changed with the Bluetooth profile when going to Jelly Bean if you read this thread:
camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=289991
Apparently GM have not updated their Bluetooth yet on my 2012 model. I need to go to Chevrolet and get this fixed.
Thanks for all the great info guys.
I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer.
I had my Galaxy Tab stolen along with my Macbook Air and need to replace.
This time I would like to get a fully spec'd Mac Mini and get the latest and greatest Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 or 12.1.
Anyone know how to get Samsung tablet to be used as a monitor for Mac Mini? I want to work off Tablet while connected to Mac Mini for
my video and audio work and then use the tablet later for web and other android stuff.
I would prefer a wired connection since Mac Mini has all kinds of ports that are fast.
Anyone know of a work around for this kind of setup?
I need to have both because of the heavy work I do in video and audio on Mac and the the heavy
research I do online with tablet. The pen would be a great help in both systems. I've seen on youtube that
tablets touch screen can be used on Macbooks.
Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan
Ever get any guidance?
Hey Dan --
I'm considering something similar for similar reasons (video/audio editing & writing/research) .... did you ever get any advice for this set up or give it a try? Curious how it worked out ... any and all appreciated.

Hi all, I am having problems with my TrekStor tab. I bought an BT 3 mouse from ebay which is not working well with my tablet device. I thought that its defect or something bcs many things from ebay are so I tested with my laptop and Motorola XT 910 and it all works with no problems.
Problem is sometimes it wont pair or when it's paired it wont connect to my bt mouse, but so sometimes it wont recive data from my phone via BT. It happens in a day or two that it actually works but when am not around for maybe 10min bluetooth goes gray and mouse is disconnected and any attempt to connect it fails.
Now I dont know is there any way to test my BT on my tablet, I am realy losing my brain, I've searched through internet for weeks, tryed everything and no result. Shoud I go to store and give them to test it?
I am using tablet alot for studying and surfing so I realy need it and wont be probably able to give it for repairs for two months so i would like to try anything I can to from here.
Thanks for help and sorry for my bad english.
Tablet is TrekStor Surftab Xiron 10.1, quad core, 2gb ram, 16gb memory running Android 4.2.2. Built in Germany.
Anyone?
