Battery percentage icon? - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed nerov3 and now ive got that plain little green battery indicator. Isnt there a way to spruce that up, make it show a percentage?

Go to the themes and apps section and flash Slightly Better Gingerbread. It really cleans up the look of Nero, and includes a percentage battery.

[Q] How to get that sweeeeet battery icon?

So I was looking through the metamorph forums and noticed several of you have a very sweeet looking battery icon. It was like the percent battery left inside of a circle of colors(green) and it replaced the lame default battery icon. How do I get this?
You flash bionixs rom. Or flash accurate battery from somewhere in these forums.

If you are on the stock rom you can get them here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=784867

just got nero, and have a question

i jsut got nero, its amazingly FAST.
1 problem is im used to the battery icon being a percentage and not just a battery sign.
Anyway to make this into a percent?
The percentage-in-a-circle from before came from the Segmented Battery Mod, which is probably floating around in the Nero thread somewhere. It works for Bionix Final R1 and Obsidian V3, but not sure it'll work for Nero.
its alright i got a app called battery statusbar and its doign good.
i use battery indicator real good app check it out

[Q] Vibrant Battery Status Inaccurate?

The image of the battery looks like it is maybe 15% or 20% drained, just a little sliver.
I go to battery status and it says 64%! That is a giant visible difference--which one is accurate?
Some battery icons only change after a certain percentage. For example, Flagship is 20% increments. So the icon remains fill up until you hit 79%, then the icon changes. Just look for an accurate battery mod for your ROM or get a battery widget from the market.

leave it that way otherwise you will obsess over it.

Agreed... the whole "how's battery life on this" is honestly a little ridiculous.

making bigger battery percent bigger

Anyone knows how to make the battery percent number/font bigger in the status bar of CM roms? getting older.....
I think that there isn't any option to change it, but there are a lot cool widgets which are showing battery stats

[Q] Battery Indicator - Percentage or No Percentage?

I've kind of been a battery nut since I've had my SG2. When I first got the phone, I was constantly concerned and checking my battery percentage via custom battery indicators [ones that show the percentage remaining in the notification area].
It's been about a month since I've had my phone, and I'm really content with the battery life on it. With about 2-3 hrs of screen on time I easily get 2 days.
I don't want to be constantly worrying about my battery so I went back to the stock battery indicator. I have Battery Monitor Widget installed, but it's not on my homescreen and I barely check it.
Now, I find that I'm much less concerned about battery life. Having the percentage indicator always visible was turning me into a nut job. In some ways I'm still a nut job , but at least it doesn't have anything to do with my phones battery life.
I'm curious to know what the community here prefers - Battery indicators that show percentage or no percentage [stock]?
i'm with you on this. I find the no % indicator less stressfull
My rooted phone shows the percentage at the battery icon, but before I would check my "about phone" to see power usage. I rather manage what my phone is doing rather that letting some app manage it. So I rather see it so I know if I need to turn something off depending if I need to save my battery for something else

Yeah, you're right in a way, but I still prefer the percentage battery indicator... you just have to get used to whatever battery life you have, and live with it.

As I recently discovered too, no percentage is definitely better for peace of mind. I get unnerved when it's going down like 95,94,93,92 etc. I feel like I'm about to run out, but the battery is still almost full actually. If I don't see the numbers, I don't have that problem.
However, the default battery indicator sucks so bad. It's almost epic fail level suck. There's almost no way to distinguish 100% and 90%. 60% looks actually like 80%. I much prefer HTC style horizontal and longer battery display, which can easily be cloned with UOT kitchen.
If you keep peace of mind away then who on earth won't like to have a percentage meter when it's available rather than a crap non percentage one!
Gauge battery is superb, its spot on and best of all its free puts battery percenge on notification top line
