could it be
1 an issue with active or passive ftp browser settings ?
2 firewall issue on the computer
3 too many people trying to access at once
i have no problems
Hi all,
with all the RAW processing power HD2 has,,, im sure playing flash content in a standalone flash player would be no prblem....
So... Is there any standalone flash player out ther????\
I tried the one for the Touch HD ... but that cannot play the newer flash file types....
So please any suggestions????
There are a lot of good flash animations out there which i would love to have on my phone...
Cheers
as far i know there is no Flash available.
tho Tweakers.net posted a news item saying that the SkyFire browser updated the server site rendering and no does support full flash sites.
An other possebility is downloading an android buid and place it ond your SD card.
Android 2.x does support flash 10. You simply can switch to Android when its needed
Thats how i solved it for now .. when the Android NAND install comes available i'll ctrl+alt+del my windows install and use only Andriod

Rock Player
Rock Player handles just about every format, including the H264 Flash files.
The Market has the Universal player version but you can also go to the developers' site: http://rockplayer.freecoder.org/index_en.html and download the
ARMV7 version which is geared for Snapdragon devices like the HD2.

sorry, i mistook,
did you try this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=385227 youtubeplay...get the file in post #908
or this? http://www.pocketone-soft.com/flash+player+mobile/
or search for flashassist:
FlashAssist is a Pocket PC application that lets you view Macromedia Flash content on your Pocket PC in three different window sizes. FlashAssist eliminates the scrollbars that appear when using Pocket Internet Explorer and allows you to open SWF files directly (no HTML companion file required).

UPDATE: pulled different version and confirmed working as well.
whats the message?, error parsing package?
have you tried installing via ADB?
no rush, I can wait for an update.

working now
adb gives error: parse failed no certificates.
oh well, wouldnt have used it much anyway, just wanted to try it. I will wait until they support our device.
If you want to try to run it, you might try using APK tool or somethinr and signing it yourself, or If your handy with code, create a flashable update-zip, that allows you to bypass this error.
Thanks again
Works great on my stock 347.
Download and install HBO GO (v1.0301) from the Market. Pick your provider and sign in. Sign up HBO GO (if you haven't).
You can suspend 3G and limit to Wi-Fi only in the Video Playback option under Settings/Preferences.

Can you hint where you found that one?
And just an FYI, it's in the market on official ROM's.
[edit] modifying build.prop to 1.8 series of streakdroid build.prop will show HBO GO in the market. [/edit]

Hmm i have 3.0 - build 3091ZD. I guess that means 3.0309ZD which is lower than yours. Could you please post your APK and the um.. The two .so (lib) files from your phone ? Maybe the newer version will work
EDIT: also to where to push the apk and libs too ^^ or do i need to simply install the apk normally and push the libs ? Question still remains "to where"

No, sorry, copyright concerns. If you want a newer version, I'd suggest flashing a newer ROM.
