This is for accessories for the Vega
Here's a few that I've come across;
Cheap stands - works very well & folds flat (need 2 as Vega quite large but they come in packs of 2 anyway); http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300498784268&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Car charger - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120663642718&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Longer PC-Vega cables - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290484849469&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
External BT GPS - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230554272702&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Case (haven't received yet so can't comment on quality) - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280600875806&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Have you managed to get the "External BT GPS" working without any issues.
Would you recommend?
Look forward to seeing if the case fits and works well. I've currently got the stock leather (fake) case. It's good but gives a crap/viewing angle when trying type in meetings.
"Freedom Keychain" gps works fine. Can't remember where I got from but there are many on ebay.
These have also been reported as working ( and cheap ) Search WAYFINDER MOBILE BLUETOOTH GPS RECIEVER on ebay.

I got this to work pretty quickly so I would recommend it as it's amazing value for money especially as P&P is included too!
Once you've got it just download the app 'Bluetooth GPS Provider' free from library and the set-up is pretty straight forward from there and Googles Car Home app (part of Modaco rom pack) works nicely though have not taken it out in car yet as my phone is a bit past it being only an old 2g iPhone

Would be good if they had the cut out for the camera?
Received my new stand yesterday
Grrr stupid link/post rule. Do a search for 5204-Quality-Black-Trendy-APPLE on Amazon.
It was larger than expected but a solid base with rubber feet so you can really touch the screen without worrying you will push it back. I look at the ebay plate holders but was a little worried they would break under pressure from using the browser etc (constant touching).
This stand folds up and comes with a nifty carry pouch.

For about 7quids ?
Sounds like the one Ive just got, I was quite surprised by the quality for the cost, even the box is really well made..
A very sturdy stand decent enough for typing on and very adjustable.. I very impressed

Aye thats the one, very cheap for the quality of build, excellent for 1 handed touch operation
does the tablet move to one side or the other when you type? or it doesn't move?
thanx
No movement at all on mine when typing

Hey all, a heads up on exim screen protectors. I did purchase the dsg screen protector but fitted it badly, on the second attempt i got it right but managed to kink it in 3 small spots cleaning it. So I ordered 2 exim protectors for 6 quid or so from a well known auction site. And I have to say aside my poor fitting once again(need to go a bit to the right a touch, it's spot on size wise) It's way better than the dsg one. It is glossy, where as the dsg one has a slight satin finish the veiwing angle is better, and the screen is more responsive. There is no cutout for the camera but the protector went on very smooth and easy. Only downside I think is the tabs of protective film either side of the protector are not marked 1 and 2. I tried but failed to fit it reverse lol
Bl1nky
Edit:- just realised the downside to glossy screens, fingerprints... Hey ho
Did anyone tried this ?

I am looking for purchase a car mount/holder for my car. However, as i drive a sports car the suspension is very stiff and therefore I need something that will cope with a very bumpy ride (some of the UK's roads are terrible at the moment!). I also use hire cars frequently, so I need something that is interchangeable between vehicles and therefore can't go for one of the brodit models that is specific to my vehicle.
I received a PDA model specific, European made, heavy duty PDA holder for the HTC Touch HD, by Herbert Richter (http://www.pdahut.com/store/product.php?productid=21157&cat=2385&page=1), but this vibrates quite badly so it will be going back.
Therefore, does anyone have any suggestions for a very sturdy car holder that is transferrable between vehicles that will cope with the rigours of a GTi's very firm suspension?
Thank you, in advance, for your help.
Spudgun
My suggestion ...
I drive a 4 wheel drive car (Renault Scenic xR4) because i like to drive through easy mountain tracks from time to time and that's the combination i have. Probably it's not the best solution but i assure you my HD neve falled down and no matter about vibrations. Also, even when it's not the easiest, you can change from one car to another (i do by myself when taking my wife's car).
It's for placing into an air vent of your car.
Rgds,
Thank you very much for your suggestion
How easy is it to transfer between cars? as i had a really bad experience with one of these once and broke the air vent grille of a hire car trying to remove it

Hummmmmmmmmm ...
Difficult to say, but i never broke it and never broke any grille. ¿Perhaps i did 20 times? For me it's easy to remove it but ...
Rgds,
Get one of those suction cup things from ebay. It's decent quality. The only thing I needed to do to make it work well in the Miata is add some cushion on the bottom so I can rest it against the dash and prevent it from jumping up and down. They move from car to car easily.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Car-Windshield-...34.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=|301:0|293:1|294:30
good sturdy support!
I am going to recommend you get a Herbert Richter Gorilla Mount coupled with a custom H.R passive holder.
It's a bit more costly than most other options, but does the best job! Since you can use interchangeable holders on the gorilla mount (eg. if you get a new phone, or a second device) it's a great cost effective option than the non-branded flimsy options normally purchased.
Despite what you may think, it does look 'great' on the windscreen!!
Regards,
- RazzyUK.
Spud_work,
I purchased mine aboyut three months ago, its discreet and completely supports the phone wihtout blocking half of the windscreen

Hope this is of use.

Niall
I bought the one pictured below (12 Euros on ebay). Here is my opinion (of course I drive normal streets - I can't say how it does on extremely bumpy terrain).
The suction cup sticks really well to the glass (assuming both surfaces are clean, of course). At first, I was scared that the whole thing would loosen up and fall off, and so I kept checking it constantly, but it holds totally firm. Even when I go to take it off and I release the suction-lock lever, the remaining suction is still really strong.
The tray that holds the actual phone fits the HD well, and all buttons and ports are clearly accessible. I wish the phone would fit just a little tighter in the tray, but it is still fine. I never worried that it would "fall out" or anything like that. I suppose it's also good that it is not so tight that it could scratch the HD when sliding it in and out. The tray can also be easily removed and re-attached to the arm. Oh - and of course, the HD will NOT fit if you have any protective case around it (such as the silicone or hard plastic covers).
The "arm" part is easily bent and adjusted at the two joints, so you can set the HD at whatever angle you want in any direction. Once set to whatever angle, it will not loosen or bend on its own.
All-in-all, I'm very pleased with this so far and I would definitely recommend it. The user reviews I read for it on Amazon do so likewise.
I hope this helps.
Cheers!
Hi Chris Cross
As I am also in the market for a mount to use with my Touch HD could you just answer a few questions about this mount which you have:
1. is it fairly compact as the last thing i need is a mount that's in my face and completely overpowering the HD
2. are you still happy recommending it
3. is it easily changed between landscape and portrait modes
4. any chance of a link for it
Thanks for your help

Hey guys,
got my Herbert Richter Gorilla Mount today (it's actually the Banana Global 1 with the holder for the HD). I have to say that the quality is brilliant and the HD fits very well. I've ordered it yesterday at gps-haus.de and it arrived today. I payed 25euros (shipping included) which is absolutely OK. Anyone interested in pictures?

Yes, post some pic's of this strong holder...
I ordered this one from Brando yesterday.
For me, it has a great design, just iphone like and I used a similar holder for my former phone (Hermes).
I drive a sportcar myself and I have to say, that vibration could possibly occur because of the "thin" arm of the holder.
My old holder did vibrate at higher speed, like above 85mph (140km/h) but could handle strong impacts, like chuckholes, very well.

I have that one and I can confirm that it will shake constantly during driving, which can be seriously annoying. No matter if the road is silky smooth, it will simply shake even from the engine vibration itself.
I had a temporary solution by putting it rather low and using the dashboard as an additional support. This works just fine, so you're probably gonna want to do the same unless you want to get shake-sick from trying to read anything off the screen while driving.
In the end I decided to try one of the shorter car holders that has a stiffer and shorter arm. Will report when it comes in.

I would be interested in any feedback that you have with your new purchase, as i have tried the herbert richter gorilla mount and although that is better, there is still quite a lot of vibration. However, I do own the car with the word's stiffest suspension, so I probably shouldn't expect too much!
I got my holder (look 2 posts before) on friday and I was pleased by the wonderful 360° joint.
But like Rozenthal said, that thing shakes like nothing
It has a far too long arm, so that it can't hold our device in a fixed position.
So now, I mountet the holder plate onto my old, shorter holder (same construction) and I will drive this evening to a friend.
I will post my experience tomorrow!
The one in post #8 is stable. I'm happy with it.

Is there a UK seller for this? as my German isn't very good!
Didn't got the time to report back yesterday.
But I will give you my experience now:
I tried my old, shorter goose neck holder with the new adapter plate.
And it worked really well
It is stable, although i drive a car with sport suspension, so there are some strong impacts on the holder. If there is a very rough street, it produces a few vibration. But that stops very fast, because the holder is much stronger.
But if you need a very stable holder, take the one from post #8 which Chris mentioned.

^that's good feedback...I'm going to check that one out since I'm getting ready to take a long trip on all kinds of roads
eversince i got a brodit phone holder for my old ipaq 6515 from proclipusa.com, I have been using it for all my phones as I just add padding to the holder to accommodate the narrower phones.
however, for HD, with a silicon skin casing (I use capdase), I can just slot the phone into the holder w/o any modification. I kinda like brodit holder because they look 'OEM' (not cheesy universal holder you see elsewhere), at the same time, my ipaq holder could be reused each time I changed my phone with some minimal modification. I change my phone every 4-6 months so it'll be too expensive for me to get a phone specific phone holder.
Hi
Does anyone know if there is someone that makes a bike (handelbars) holder for the Blackstone?
edit
I did find some on with google search, but does anyone have any experience??
yesterday, i have ordered this:

now i have to wait for delivery
Please post your experience when you have tried it.
bike holder
Hi, I am interessted in a solid Bike holder too and was looking for the whole day. I found this in ebay germany, the producer is Haicom, tomorrow I will order.
I want to use it only in landscape mode and for me it looks appropriate for this. The only thing is that I don't trust the connection between the HTC cradle and the Handlebar attachment, so perhaps I have to stick it with instant glue, but all the other holders I saw don't have such big retaining clips in the cradle like this one.

Guys
I'm very interested in this too, looking forward to hearing experiences from you. I need to retire my Ortleib pouch!
my experience so far
The cradle i ordered is a little bit bigger then the touch hd and the connection between handlebar attachment and the cradle is a little bit unsteady like i thought but no problem. I sticked felt pads on it and its very very solid now, also a good method to avoid scratches. I've made a little video that you can see how solid this is now. So I think this is a good one only after you stick those felt pads.
Sweet it looks pretty sturdy.. If you can get it to stay in one place on the handel bars then thats the one for me
handle bars
I've mounted the cradle on my bicycle, it doesn't move from its place.
There is a rubber layer at the attachment.
Today i have received my bike holder (http://www.dantotec.de/shop/Richter...HD-T8282-Blackstone-100-inkl-Halteschale.html)
it looks realy safe (not testet in action)
i have "shaked" the holder with my touch hd over my bed and it dont pull out (i hope you know what i mean ^^)
and the size is very good, not too small and not too big "like a second skin"
in the package you get also 3 rubber for more security...
i think i can recommend this bike holder
i wait for this (cause its not in stock): http://www.dantotec.de/product_sear...417fff&query=HRI01686&x=30&y=17&channel=001_0
this product is recommended from the manufactorer, it should guarantee more stability...
I have combined this:
http://www.amazon.de/Motorradhalterung-für-Lenkstange-inkl-Schwanenhals/dp/B000RGVNK8/ref=pd_cp_ce_2
(I do not have the space for the HD directly over my handle so I needed some distance...)
with that:
http://www.amazon.de/HR-Klemmbacken...=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=ce-de&qid=1274939042&sr=1-3
(Had this one already for my car.)
I did not buy them from amazon (I forgot where I got them), but they are original from HR.
Just an advice: The first time I used my device on the bike, I lost my stylus - it must have gotten loose due to some vibrations, and it was only on a paved bike path, not cross country-like vibrations...
So better remove your stylus or find some way to fix it.
I had the luck that it was on my way to work, and it waited for me to pick it up on my way back not far from my home...
The Whistler
Ebay is perfect for this stuff.

A cradle for a bike with exposed screen like that is asking for trouble. If you go over a bad road or bump etc it can become lose or if you are in a crash there is no protection. I found its safer to get one of them arm band phone protectors and strap it down. seems to work for me

I am not sure, however, after exploring the tablet software a little bit there is an awesome desktop dock application that shows the weather, the htc clock, and facebook updates. So I take it we will see a home dock in the near feature. I wish a car dock would come out, but because of its size and legality of videos playing while driving, we probably won't see one of those.
The only two accessories that I know of are:
HTC Scribe Pen - $80
Anti-Glare Screen Protector @ AT&T - $20
- Dan
Actually, if you go to Amazon and search for HTC Puccini, a tpc case also shows up. No case, though....soon, I hope!

For anyone looking for decent case that fits the HTC Jetstream until cases that are made for this product reach the market. I have been using a Targus (Truss Leather Case / Stand) Model Number THZ07002US from Best Buy.
It’s a case that was made to fit an Acer ICONIA TAB A500 10.1 pad. It works as a cover and a stand that has three viewing angles in stand mode. It also has a slot for the styles pen but it’s a little bulky, doesn’t fit as tightly as I would like and it covers the back camera. All that said you can easily reach the on off switch, head phone jack, volume controls and even plug the unit in without taking the pad out of the case.
I still want to buy a case made for my unit that lets me use the back camera and that fits a little better but until they become available I needed some thing to protect my new overpriced but amazing Jetstream.
Looks like PDAir will be making some and rooCASE will have some nice ones ready October 19 on Amazon...they look nice.
scribe pen
is the scribe pen still coming free with the device if its bought in store? thanks
Yes, until October 15...
Pen Issues
I bought the unit in person last week, just before closing on my way home from work. The ATT store did not include the pen with my purchase and I forgot to ask for it. I went back in the am to get it and boy did it get interesting.
They started out with the story that the Pen only was included if you bought the data plan on a 2 year commitment?
I said really? Show me where it says that? I have seen the pen offered in EVERY AD as free with purchase for a limited time.
We went round and round and the finally relented but what a PIA....
ATT is truly clueless when it comes to it's own products, promotions etc.
Love the Jetstream, dont love the hoops you have to jump through.
How about NO ONE knowing when the LTE network is turning on?
Why am I paying for a data plan for something that is not ever available yet and has no timeline?
I passed on the data.
Have unlimited wifi tether on my rooted inspire so that's my dataplan.
Yeah I didnt think they were all coming with pens, hope mine has one with it ><
Didn't have that issue. I am WiFi only and they asked to register me and I said I didn't really need to because I was using it only on WiFi networks. Got the pen nonetheless.
I think you are supposed to have a data plan, but the advertising was hazy....and the ATT rep said without me asking that I got the pen. I really think it depends on the person.
ATT doesn't have good reception in my neck of the woods, so Sprint is my provider. like you, Tracy, I just tether.
Skinomi has screen protectors and skins. There is also a 25% coupon.
www.skinomi.com
Coupon code is skinomi25 plus free shipping.
They are good skins. Apply like Zagg but no orange peel. They are slick.
Case/cover for Jetstream
Picked this case up on Amazon last week.
http://www.amazon.com/HTC-PUCCINI-S...H4TA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1316444249&sr=8-3
For 9.99 was not expecting much....Case is great....Soft and flexibile. Covers the back and all the corners and makes holding easy.
I recommend highly.
Tracy
Has anybody heard about a folio case that allows it to stand up, much like the Xoom case? It's really the only thing I find the device is missing.
Melkco says they are working on one. So does PDAir. RooCASE will have one ready mid-October....you can see the rooCASE on Amazon. PDAir on their own website, and I conducted Melkco on my own....
Looks like we will have to be patient. The gel case on Amazon works well for the time being....

Due to being in a rush, i got this case for $70 at WalMart
www.kensington.com/kensington/us/us/p/1615/K39336US/keyfolio™-bluetooth®-keyboard-case.aspx
Had to make some mods such as cutting a big hole for the camera and cutting some of the elastic for clear the volume and power buttons. Also cut some of the front 'frame' so the screen is fully visable.
IMPORTANT: Just be aware the two/three small holes on the top of the Jetstream are light sesons for the flash/camera, so the hole you cut for the camera must be big enough allow light access to those small holes. The BT keyboard works great with it too.

I guys, just wanted to share, I bought the Moko Leather Case with Stand off Amazon and it works like a charm! Perfect fit, good quality, all ports accessible, and very protectable. I payed $19.99 plus $3.99 for next day shipping (Amazon Prime Member). I would recomend this to anyone in a look for a good looking, cheap, good quality folding case.
Srry it wont let me post the link since im new, just shearch 'sony tablet s moko' in Amazon's shearch box.

Looks good, but I just don't like that style.
Enjoy.
Its more of a profecional look, the Sony S and that cover for me its like, beaty & a touch of a profecional look, just awesooome!
A few reviews claim their or port is covered and others are hard to get to. Did you find this to be true?
Sent from my Sony Tablet S
Its NOT true! I have access to ALL ports, even speakers, sd card, charger, headphone jack, etc. See the pictures so you can see...

what about the infrared port? Does the Universal Remote app work well when it's in the case?
I just got the RooCASE and I'm pretty dissatisfied. Returning it for either this case or the Navitech.
Mmmm... its works but not that far away like it would do without it.... but its really nice cover.
No it does not. I am thinking about cutting a larger hole than the pin hole that comes with the case. Will let you know if it work then. For now I have to keep taking it out the case to use the Remote function. The remote app works great! Will be trying it on my AC this weekend.
Moko
THe MoKo case is great. I have taken it around to a few business meetings, it looks professional, duals as a stand and fits the Tablet S perfect. The remote sensor is blocked working on pinpointing it so i can increase the hole size but over all 10/10 on this case after going trying a few of them. The Amazon Prime shipping Rocks, Also Blue Mall on Amazon has a screen protector that fits perfect for 4 bucks shipped.
Any pictures?

Here's a link to the product with pictures http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Folding-Cover-SGPT111US-Tablet/dp/B005PCK5K8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331006099&sr=8-1.
I got this case for my Tablet. It fits real nice and provides great coverage. All the ports are accessible including charging, headphone, etc.
Also, this is one of the very few cases you will see that positions the tablet correctly in the lowered position. If you look at pictures of other cases, you will see the camera is at the bottom... which doesn't work out too well. I've heard there is software you can get that allows the screen to rotate correctly, but the camera is still at the bottom.
The only negative I had so far with this case is it comes with a very strong chemical smell. After about a week I hardly notice it anymore but at first I wasn't sure I would be able to stand it lol.
with complete frsutration in no keyboard case looking to ever be made for my purchase of the top tablet at the time the Galaxy Pro i have ended my search and somewhat happy.
my first purchase after exhausting months of hoping and searching led me purchase the M-Edge Stealth which upon setting up was the most impressive 3rd party universal i had ever seen. i see no reason to go into all the details that had me loving this case because very quickly i discovered it had 1 flaw that completely killed it. one of the greatest features was t he magnet safe strap and the base was magnet as well and sadly this caused the Pro to go to sleep every time i would touch it. if you push it up in the holsters it was fine but touching it or moving it and it would slide down just a hair and that hair caused the magnets to put it to sleep. i spent some time since it was such a great case trying to make it work but with much sadness i had to return it.
my next purchase and what i am staying with is the Kensington Keyfolio Pro 2 and at this pricxe i can live with the few things i would change.
quick review:
- keyboard types nice and almost all the keys for Home , Settings, Volume, Web, Music, work and go to the app i desired. it also seems to autoconnect after casing it up and opening it back up again so functionaly it is very nice
- case sadly is not a nice leather feel like the M-Edge and although not bad it feels kinda like it might carck eventually like cheap fake leather can do but only time will tell
- it is in no way as thin as the M-Edge and much bulkier than he 11" laptop i would carry but not ridiculous to me
- it has large and small corners with velcro to allow to place it wherever on the back plate that holds it which is different put nice and allows some positioning to what you like. i will say though that i was going with the small angles anyway but the large were on it and one ripped as i tried to take it off and so i know now how to handle them.
- the Logitech or Zagg of my dreams would not have allowed me to take the keyboard out and place it where i like and i see the value in this now as well
- there is no camera hole on the back put it does state that you can cut it out and they thought of this but since i dont use the back camera for anything i dont mind
anyway hope this helps out another 10.1 like me that has been frustrated with no top of the line model available.

yeah i looked at one of those but what i dont like about it:
- the kickstand - this limits position placement where the Kensington allows from straight up with keyboard in case to almost flat and stays in any position between them
- the full edge holster - i like to see the tablet with minimum corners or preferably which only comes with ones made specifically for the tablet that it snaps into place with almost no edge
- the keyboard is large with the big palm area and it does not have all the Android specific keys to launch everything which allows me to rarely touch my screen
i am not saying it isnt nice but it wasnt what i was looking for and i doubt there is an option out there i didnt research. thanks for the info though and maybe its something others might like
Samsung has neglected the Tab Pro 10.1
Its these disappointing products that brought me to just buy a stand alone keyboard option. After almost a year of traveling around the country with my Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, throwing it in my backpack between classes, and carrying it around to camping trips and etc. I've decided that its a little too late to purchase a case or keyboard folio at this point.
Samsung really did their customers wrong by not producing a suitable keyboard/case for the galaxy tab pro 10.1. At the very list they could have worked with 3rd parties to produce these options.
