haven't played in gamelofts' games yet

My galaxy S 2 wouldn't render graphics on games like assassin's creed and HAWX. I can only see white silhouettes and the objects are all white too. I can still play the game though but the graphics sucks. Has it got anything to do with the lite'ning rom v1.5? I flashed it yesterday.
Probably designed for the Adreno/Tegra GPUs, find the chainfire 3d thread and read it to see what you can do
Thanks. Actually yesterday I bought Modern combat 2 , which is a gameloft game. But Assassin's creed and HAWX is also a Gameloft game. Does that make any difference. Pirated games might have some issue with rooted phones. Is that possible. Because my modern combat 2 does not have a similar problem. Only the two pirated ones: Assissin's Creed and HAWX.

sounds like you are using or have a hacked version of the games. The GPU in the phone can't handle textures like tegra2 does and so they are not rendered.

hi. i have a fully-stock galaxy s 2 and i am experiencing the same problem you are with spiderman total mayhem and tom clancy conviction game. i am using software downloaded from gameloft websites. the other thing is, i played a tegra 2 game with my phone, the guerilla bob thd and it runs fine. all graphics are fine in guerilla bob. what do you think is the problem causing the 3d rendering problem??

The Blood and Glory games are pretty good, as is GTA III. Too bad GTA's controls are so awful.

All of these run perfectly on the Atrix 4G. Another awesome game is Modern Combat 3 from gameloft: great controls, impressive graphics, and a good soundtrack - but it lags a little sometimes. Not unbearable though. All the other gameloft games completely suck on the atrix, sooo laggy!
I like Shadowgun, and the Modern Combat series.

Agree. I like most of the gameloft first person shooters, such as the modern combat series and NOVA3, also the gangstar series, in particular gangstar rio which was the first game that I was really addicted to since GTA san andreas. Max payne is really nice too.
I had no game so far that was not playable on my Atrix, occasional stutter may occur, but nothing disturbing...
there is an alternative appstore named NVIDIA TegraZone which you can download it on Play Store, it contains a lot of Tegra compatible games.
Another good one, kind of addictive is Temple Run. No lags and lots of fun.

Dude, Real Racing works fine on Atrix, try with market enabler or.....
a very cool game is Rayman Jungle Run, very fluent, awesome graphics.
Also you have The Bard's Tale (action rpg), NBA Jam (sports), Dungeon Defenders (tower defense), Legendary Heroes (dota-like game)

You are right, they aren't unplayable - but the op was just asking for games which take full advantage of the tegra hardware - definitely no gameloft games fall into that category. They are fun though, have you tried asphalt 7? The gameplay and graphics are awesome, but that one lags on basically every non-mali400 device... even the nexus 7

In Gangstar West Coast Hustle, its not white but everything seems plane....only far away buildings in a haze can be seen.
In Assassin's Creed Altair's Chronicles, again everything white...........:crying:
In Raging Thunder 2, lots and lots of LAG!!!!!!!
In HAWX, white airplane and moronic ground with boxes.........
In Angry Birds, 1 - White Background. Seasons - Everything white except the birds and the pigs. Space - White Background. Space Wars - Black Screen on opening.:crying:
In Dead Space, everything is good but I can,t see anything on game start. I just see the man's glowing dress and the instructions, rest everything is black and pitch dark.........
I did all this on CM7 Beta by Venkat Kamesh.

Flash to Froyo as games don't work as well on cm7.

Hi buddy you can flash back to froyo but to be true you wont be able to play most of the games in this list even in froyo and for angry bird space like games you have to get back to eclair or 2.1 Rom with has been better
in NFS Shift, I get complete white textures : you will get the same problem even in froyo as i have tested it

In Dead Space, our gpu wont support this game as were your seeing white texture could be solved with chainfire but to some extent were you see black texture gpu wont render it at all

Brothers in arm is good game but will lag a bit to run this game use froyo or eclair with chainfire qualcomm drivers and reduce texture if ur using froyo use oc kernel.
my conclusion if you rele want to use your phone for gaming and can live with low memory use eclair and if you want to do medium gaming then froyo is best ........................for more info about games checkout below links

ya it isnt best of rom but for our phone eclair is best if you want to do gaming as texture reproduction is best in eclair and games like angry bird space cud be played in 2.1 with very few white textures but point to be consider is that it isnt fast it is laggy and outdated and if your considering eclair for gaming remember that there aren't many games out there which supports eclair

I dont mean to rant but the Galaxy 3 isnt a gaming phone, its an android on a budget.
If you want gaming get another phone..
Especially if you want to play HD games..

I'm not really into games, but Real Racing 3 in great, I agree.
Out of all the games I do play, no matter what I always seem to come back to hill climb racing. I have a thing with watching suspension work. Its a good time waster.
