Hi,
is it possible to install mediascape on the froyo rom?
That would be nice.
Maybe someone has an idea?
Kind regards,

Because mediascape is original SE app, and our 2.2 OS here is not SE.
So is not compatible.

[Q] How to get the Market App X10i ?

Hi, I have an SE X10i
Firmware: 1.6
Baseband: 1.1.31
Build : R2BA026
and I'm wondering if there is a way to get the Market app cause it didn't come with the phone as I purchased it in Dubai.
Thanks
Market Fix
Cheers man.
So I have to ROOT my phone to get this done? Is it safe? or should I avoid it for now? And if you can advise me to a video or thread that can help me in the Backing-up/Rooting/Restoring process that would be great!
Sad thing is there aren't much forums for Xperia. I mean look at iPhone forums theres just TONS of them. I love SE but they just need more ACTION!
Anyway thanks for the help man.

Yes, and now can be done with ONE CLICK. I use the Standalone X10 root.apk which allows you to unroot with one click too.

Why avoid it when it's ridiculously simple, install app, click to root.

Any changes in smooth, or in games?
Are you kidding me? That's not even a zip to be flashed. Plus, it's designed for ICS.

Read the tutorials, there's a lot of them.
Check bootloader status first. Which route you will need to follow will be dictated by this.

Okay. Got it
You need to change SI to
ro.product.name=ST27i_1264-7472
ro.semc.version.cust=1264-7472
and you will see update pop up at PCC

Hi
I am not saw problem with GPS when I use Sygic GPS but when I used Endomondo Sport Tracer GPS Signal loaded 10 minutes.
Read this:
"everything seems so be nice and smooth. after uninstalling and disabling the crapware and installing my usual apps it still has ~130-160MB of free ram (in advanced task manager)
the only thing i found strange was, that the GPS took ages (+10 minutes...) to get my location the first time (with google location service disabled). but the next few times it was working ok. don't know if this happens more often. hope not.
alltogether, after the first hour of using it, it feels quite fine "
