i need help with adding sound to my boot animation
for the past 2 or 3 weeks ive been trying to add the sound ive looked all over the forums and tried everything and nothing works
i have FR008 and the bootanimation goes in system/customize/resource or data/local i have the bootanimation and the sound in both but its still no good can someone be generous n help me out please

Hey Guys, I recently made my first own boot animation for my Xperia Arc S. So I was really proud of myself and put it in the folder system/media and rebooted. When i got past the kernel boot image, the screen went blank and never showed my animation So I attached it and would be great if someone could inspect it to see whats wrong with it thanks
bootanimation should be placed in system/media!!

you should put them in /system/media
Tried that. No luck. Besides the way android runs when it starts up is it checks if there's one in data/local if so, it uses that. If not it then looks in system/media. Still I'm generous. You can have some thanks (even though my problem isn't solved

Hi i hope someone can help , i have just installed freezenooks rom and done the usual reboots. I decided to put my bootanimation zip file in the /data/local file ( as normal) and rebooted. But the screen stayed black ( apart from the end) when it showed a very quick picture of the last picture of my boot animation.
Any ideas?

I think what is happening is that the boot animation is running but ..its as if the brightness is set to dark , as I happened to see a part of the animation even though the screen is black
Maybe it's worth double-checking your desc.txt file and/or trying a known-good bootanimation.zip to rule out issues with your specific animation file?
yes i tried 3 other bootanimation zips , that also worked when on a previous rom ( like my own) . They all failed as well to work . So i don't think its the bootanimation zip.

I now about this problem. On some tablets animation works uncorrectly.
I'm trying to fix it from BUILD3.

Hi Freezenook, just an update , when i start the tablet the archos logo shows for a split second. But i have found if i then press the on/ off button very quickly , then the boot animation runs ok.How strange.

I created a boot animation ... I replaced in system/media but it's not getting changed.. And I was shocked when i saw the backup bootanimation. The thing is I updated to lollipop and got new boot animation(sewing) , but when i opened the zip file it still containing old logo(globe).. Im confused a lot.. where would be the new boot animation location ??:crying:
Please somebody help me to change it to my custom animation..

Hello I was directed to post here to resolve this problem.
A little while ago I flashed a bootlogo into my tablet along with a 6.0 M bootanimation. I used it fine for a few weeks and then I decided to change it. I explored on xda a little bit and found an interesting and better bootanimation and downloaded it and flashed it. Now everytime I boot my phone there is only the bootlogo until the device starts. There is no longer any animation. I tried wiping/flashing different bootanimations/logos but its stuck on the same thing. I need help
Guys I am New its my first time i rooted my device successfully i have installed ICE Enhanced (Noughat) ROM and Xposed Installer i want to know if i am missing on anything else and there is a kernel called minimal can i install it on my phone cause I'm scared it will brick or boot loop my device my device is HTC M9 Sprint Unlocked S-Off and i want to know one more thing guys i made my own version of splash screen for my self when i stall it doesn't work by naming it to splash1.nb0 and adding the android-info i checked the ones on the forum they work i edited my own splashscreen ironman image i can send you the link for the PSD File for it can someone please make it as a zip file compatible with my phone cause my phone has bootup animation as iron man and one final thing how to add audio for bootup animation i will be really thankful to you guys if you help me out thank you for your time!!!!!!! i also tried the audio mod V4A android with Dolby Atmos it doesn't work well it messes up my sound driver so i had to reinstall everything. I really want to get the best out of my device If you any further recommendations or advices please share!!!! I tried 4 to 6 hours to get my answers but i couldnt find one..
