Dear All,
This is Subhajit from India new to this forum & Android LG Optimus One - P500), need much help from you guys to exploit this device properly & efficiently, so can any body suggest me any good custom Rom & How can i Flash it, I need sheer performance & Speed, with a little Twist in Graphics of the & outlook of the phone.
& Please tell me what is the difference between ROM & kernel, how to install them & How can i find the compatibility among other ROMS & Kernels.

Hi guys,
first of all thanks to all ROM builders, you own and make our phones happy!
I was wondering how your do the process of serving us those ROMs, so:
* the ROM contains what in GNU/Linux is defined as "distribution"?
* you don't recompile the kernel?
* i red the kitchen stuff at chef central and in the development section tutorial,
is it necessary to have it or its purpose is only to ease a ROM editing?
ok, these are my first questions ;-)... i'd really like to build a ROM of mine but
what stops me is the documentation and the missing part of it (e.g., safe ROM
testing (how do you test your ROMs under development?), build.prop stuff
(have you got a reference for all that variables?), ...).

I just wanted some links to download rom which are like stock roms of s3 (if its stock of s3 which works on canvas2 well and good) which work on canvas2.
Can any1 suggest ???????
well no you will get instant brick if a galaxy s3 ROM is to work on canvas 2 it needs some serious time effort skill luck blah blah into it to make it work

Honestly who would want THAT on their phone ?? If you want a bad rom supercharged with crap and bloatware, you can stick to TouchWiz... and for everyone else, you can pretty easliy tweak it to look like you want.
Not worth the work and time at all IMHO. xD

no need to raplay this is the topic..... where all the rom developers are to gather.....i hope they make taht...the rom has a meny good nice ability like is oreng and black and good for battry and hase good music player and perfomanc profile....and it has a best music and watther software....very very cool rom

So what I wanted to request was how about a guide to make ROM's with Oreo GO Source since it is compatible with most of the low end devices? It'll help beginners/newbies to start building ROM's for their phones and will encourage them

1. LineageOS, ResurrectionRemix, BlissROMs, etc. are the biggest ones.
2. Most of the big brands have custom ROMs. Google, Sony, LG, OnePlus, Samsung, Huawei, etc. all have custom ROM support.
