I've been searching the forums, but haven't found this particular tidbit. Does it exist? The latest HTC ROM, only with 576 RAM unlocked?
I'm searching for a long time for something like this.
Stock Windows Mobile ROM, maybe with Manila updated to latest version. Would be nice if it was 6.5.3 or 6.5.5, 6.5 is OK although. And most important - 576 MB RAM unlocked. Does it exist?
Oh, and maybe not NLD, WWE is OK .

No sir it don't exist. If you are looking for a NLD ROM with the 576 RAM trick you should use a custom ROM.

So is there any custom ROM with enabled 576 MB of RAM, but as stock as it could be?

Hello sir; personally I would suggest you Artemis ROM; Link
But at the other hand there are so much good ROM builders here on XDA such as:
Energy ROM's
Dutty ROM
Laurentius ROM
and lot more.
But no mater witch one you choose; there is one golden rule.
Read the installation instructions and follow them!!!
maybe one good tip; get start with one ROM test it, and if you don't like it take a other one.

There are better ROM's than stock ROM's but if you would like to have these combinations I think you need to get start to build a ROM.
Most customer ROM builders have there own personal touch; mostly it's lots better than stock ROM.

I tried dioxda2 speed king ROM , but i'm searching for clean ROM without many added programs which i can't remove.

Is this a ofiicial ROM ? I thought the self cooked ROMs are cleaner and faster than the shipped ones.
Is this WM 6.1. ROM ? I tired now the ProphetShadoW_2.0 clean version, really nice und clean, but the dioxda2 was even better i think.. Fater opening of menus ...

yeah it is,but developers are still waiting for the official hero 2.1 rom that should be out in a few days now...i tried most of the 2.1 roms and none of them has everything you would want...so you should be patient for a few days more till the REAL thing comes out...

If you want a 1.5 based rom personally I like modaco... sensehero is pretty much the same thing but I dont like the blue colour much...
If you are looking for a 2.1 based for me I have found the Villain SprintHero port rom to be the best and fastest overall ...
between that category the competition would be between Villain Sprint and BeLegendary 1.3.5...

If you're looking for a decent 2.1 rom, try VillainRom. I use it and have no complaints so far.
It's not as stable as some ROMs, but it's pretty fast and has great features. Having said that, a lot of people use HeroDroid as it's far more stable apparently, but doesn't have things like Live Wallpapers. I have had no issues with VillainRom, however.

Judging by this and a couple of other posts he wants something similar to the Nexus ROM, ie. Vanilla 2.1
+1 villain port Sprint,having no problems with it at all!
just tried villian...was god BUT i cant hide the sim contacts for sum rezun!! how do i do that ??

If you want a beautiful, fast, and stable ROM, try the SenseHero (I always restore it after trying any 2.1)
If you want features: Villain 5.x or Legendroid ; )

Titanium (ROMs for raw speed!)
This is a minimal ROM version without Sense in it. It's used primarily for people that like to customize the default 6.5 homescreen (Titanium)
You can use it to install alternate homescreen interfaces like SPB Mobile Shell, etc
Very low memory footprint and good battery life, but very simple and lacks a lot of features that you would otherwise have available in Sense...

Actually, since you can turn off Sense, I would recommend the basic NRG ROM. It has the basic sense, but also contains all the neat add-ons that make WM much better.
You don't say which version of the ROM you need. If you are in the US, be sure to load the US ROM; any other ROM will brick the phone.

hi every one, i've testing the Vanilla Rootbox 4 on my gt-i9300, soo far its a great rom, but sometimes it consumes too much battery, so i've tryed to check for a kernel change, but i haven't find any, so plz, help me to find a compatible kernel (or more) for this great rom!, thanks in advance :good::laugh:

you just have to compare the base of your ROM (e.g. Samsung, AOSP/AOKP, CM) and compare it with the compatibility of the kernels, not that complicated. After that it is up to you to test different once as it depends on the use of your phone.
