I believe HEAVY development is going on from TW to bringGingerbread to our Vibrant.
From their Tweets lately, it seems there is a fair amount of progress and we may see betas in a next few weeks. Personally, I'd take Gingerbread over MIUI any day.
Don't understand the desire for miui, it's nothing special. The lock screen is nice, but past that eh...

I would certainly rather TW focus on Gingerbread! I've been dying to bite into that cookie! MIUI is cool though. Gingerbread is cooler, imo. I for one am looking forward to getting a stable Gingerbread before Samsung even releases an official 2.2

really op? Be patient. Not only are they doing this on their spare time, but they update their roms faster than the actual phone manufacturers. So relax and enjoy the awesome rom's they have out now. Bionix 1.3 is amazing. I'm running that on my phone and I flashed Frost on my other vibrant. Frost is amazing as well. I can't decide which to use daily lol.

That's absolutely true. They do amazing things in their spare time that they could spend in other things (family for example) to give us this amazing roms. Patience,patience,patience................
Look som and TW does this as a hobby and to be generous. Stop being impatient and asking when. They have lives too. It will be done when its done. Id much rather have a finished product ie. A daily driver instead of 1000 betas, which is why it takes time.

Everyone's telling him to relax and such, but he isn't rushing anyone. He just asked for an ETA in a relatively polite manner, trust me I've seen worse. Some people seem to think they're owed roms by the devs.
i'd rather stay with 2.2 than have a buggy 2.3 rom. but i know some people have to have the newest sometimes...It wasn't long ago that everyone was screaming to get 2.2 on their phone. It's kinda like the guy that sold his xp laptop the first day vista came out. Just saying that there is no need to rush updates to operating systems.

i have been reading the heck out of these xda posts and your tw forums and i appreciate all the good work you do. i've asked a few questions between here and chat, but i have learned most by reading and being patient. when i have some money, i plan to donate to you guys but i am broke right now. i am presently running your bionix 1.3 rom w/the latest overstock 1.3 kernel, very few problems so far, however i am still evaluating battery life after turning off bln w/bln pro app. i do plan on flashing bionix 1.3.1 soon. again, thx 4 the excellent work that tw does! take your time with future roms as i can see the quality (not quantity) of your work. in the mean time (while we patiently wait), thank you for the buttery smooth 1.3+ roms you have developed!
Yes, we are working on it as Som said. Almost messed up my phone pretty bad last night doing so. I got to see all the purty colors. lol, and lost all contents on BOTH sd's. heh.
Currently running the i9k leak but it also has it's issues.

A kernel needs to be developed, ROMs need to be developed. Why haven't you done it yet?

Really, man??? They will be available when they are available. I'm sure the xda devs are hard at work cooking something up as we speak but be patient. The longer the wait, the more likely that the initial release of the ROM will be less buggy anyways.
It's only a matter of time.

I would assume it's because the Atrix has a lot of specialized parts, like webtop and the fingerprint sensor....

I think these sick roms will be released day by day after the release of at&t official gingerbread update. Patience is vital if you want to eat some good stuff.
Otherwise there're fast food chains everywhere.

Yes, cyanogenmod team has an atrix and is working on it.
Kholk said on his twitter yesterday he's been working on a kernel.
I just wish that if ANYONE was working on a ROM that they would start a thread to let us know. Id rather have expectations than just sit wondering if anything is actually ever gonna happen
If a dev started a thread confirming they were working on a ROM they would be opening themselves up to the harassment of everyone asking, is it done yet. I would keep quiet until I was done, then surprise people

As current roms stand there are no AOSP roms out at the moment . But also bare in mind root status is still very new , if anything still in its infancy . Give it time and before you know it AOSP will be ready for flashing . I know cyanogenmod was ported to the Sensation already , so I dont think EVO3D will be to far off from that . Some Devs have had roms on standby waiting for root to hit but never had a device to test stability on (even though there were s-off devices running around in the wild) . Like I said give it more time , heck the development thread has already started up with kernal threads and rom threads . The fun is just now begining so kick back and enjoy the ride
I'm not trying to be rude but there's a fee threads on this already.
But yeah first I heard it would be ported and cyanogen wouldn't officially support it then I heard that toastch is working on it. So I can't wait either.

Myn is developing for the Evo 3D. In fact I am running Warm 2.3 on mine as we speak. He may release here once it is finished, but a lot of devs are running away from XDA because of the whiny and demanding people that are here(not everyone, but the ones that are, are ruining it for everyone). Rootzwiki is where you can find Myn's Rom.

So im sitting here with CM7 and I have flashed a billion times different roms because bordem has set in. I know that CM9 is supposedly around the corner but can we get some new roms and or updates on current ones??
I'm thinking there are no significant updates to be made, short of the one "we"are all waiting for...

Thanks for the input. I think when I have some spare minutes i'm gonna do some research and do some hellraising. Our roms are few and far between. Maybe next phone I get is International SGS3, much more variety

REALLY?!? Nobody wants to do any groundbreaking changes when ICS is literately right around the corner. A few little updates probably wont quinch your bored thirst either. You do realize though for the Devs to come in here and read this, they can take this as a slam, right? Not a nice way to get more roms/updates.

Since you're bored, Id suggest to read up and learn how to hellraise and then try a few i9100 romes. That will both take up that bored time and also give you some new roms to play with.
I dont approve of this thread at all and I feel that this could get really hostile due to the blunt disrespect for the Devs in this forum.
