Please guys i found a wm 6.5 rom with WP7 interface in XDA forum for China and registered there so i could download it but it seems like i cant download because am in the uk or something ? each time i login, the page keeps redirecting me to another page showing me my profile only and no link back to the forum so i can make the download, and i have tried all i can, please can anyone PM the download link to that rom ? am so loving it and would donate $40 for it, i am running andoid but i still want to have a feel of wm 6.5 in my HD2. giving a suggestion would have been much appreciated and i posted it here to gain attention but it's the hottest forum for now since nand is making way for hd2

Hello sir, I must admit I don't have access to the Chinese webpage; but if it's needed I can ask it to one of my Chinese friend's if he would download it for me.
But I just take a look on the video (the link you added), and this have nothing to see with WM6.5 I mean your first question was to have a W6.5 ROM with a WP7 interface. But what you see on the video is simply the WP7 ROM.

the ROM that he mean is Windows Mobile 6.1 and not the ROM from Cloudyfa.
the image has been erase. Unfortunately.

yes. I am Indonesian.
Actually transformer is an old ROM, with old methode of cooking.
I suggest you use this Shadow Touch Edition 1.0
And install 3D Cube later.
But as I said. This is an old ROM. And with Cube take a lot of baterry drains.

I'm trying to cook my first rom (official dutch). it's not that hard but it says the image version is 1.66.405.1 when I want to flash while it should be 1.90.404.1... have to check into that...
edit: ohh, I used RUU_Raphael_HTC_WWE_1.90.405.1_Radio_Signed_Raphael_CRC_52.33.25.17_1.02.25.19_Ship.exe as base rom
edit2: ahh changed the version in the project file. It now seem ok. Testing it now and upload it when it works :+).
edit3: Now ready for download
edit4: removed the link as some people have problems with it.

I have it here in front of me... and indeed... it its YUK ...
Hope somewhere a original HTC dutch rom is released soon so i can get rid of the branded stuff.
BTW, battery life is awfull using bluetooth, HSDPA. one day and than back on juice.

by the way, when i get the jugglerkitchen to work properly on my mac, i will try to put the dutch language into the DCS-rom.. can't test it yet though (phone still hasn't come in yet, damn you, t-mobile!)

First i thought of posting it in one of the rom thread but on a second thought i decided to make a thread. I have a humble request to all the chefs, wannabes etc etc.
Please post some required information along with your ROM, make your rom posting as informative as possible. Many times in absence of this information, there is no way left but to download the rom which may not be suitable under every condition. Like as of now, i am on a phone based net connection and i downloaded helgee's new 21500 build for 3 hours only to find out that its locked, while my only purpose was to use it in kitchen.
So Here are some ideas about what to post :
- Name of ROM (if you have named it something )
- CEOS version (with build number)
- Amount of Free RAM
- Amount of Free Phone Memoey
- Whether it is protected or not (It really hurts to download a rom, specially on slow internet connection and later realizing that it cannot be used as a base rom in kitchens coz of protection. I mostly download roms for this purpose apart from testing, and these days, about 70% of the ROMs being posted are protected, specially the WM 6.5 roms)
- Main Features of the ROM
- Bugs removed.
- Known problems and possible solutions
These can be used as guidelines and everybody is ofcourse free to add whatever they want. But my only request is to be as informative as possible, atleast the protection level must be given.

i hope others would complie with ur request and do the need full as this info if given will be useful for users and the Rom chiefs
may be u could add one more request to post if their ROM is protected as this would save time for other ROM chiefs

I did not mentioned the OS build number, but I did mention from where it was derived from, so I do not think any one will have problem with that .
Yeah I guess your suggestions are very good, but then .... People ignore the mods, so who hell is me or you .
I just need to know one thing, regarding free memory, what do you post, immediately upon flashing, after 15 mins, after restoring PIM ??

Ya, What you gave was sufficient. All the info was in my ROM thread and you posted changes so thats ok. And all my roms are unprotected thats a well known fact
People are people and they do what they do but then, somebody or another, at time to time, does raises voice for things that should be changed for good of everyone. Its part of nature and I let it be.
After flashing, I open Programs menu, all the three tabs of settings menu, load and unload contacts, phone, messaging and tasks app and then let the phone stabilize for 5 mins. Only after that i take note of free memory.

But i think this thread has made no impact on anybody, ROMs are still being posted without info. I am saying it again guys, Please consider my request in Post #1 Look at the other forums, how well they manage ROM threads with screen shots, info and version history etc. Even though these things are valid only if you cook the rom yourself, not if you are posting rom taken from somewhere else, but still i think its posting person's duty to check the ROM out himself and then provide as much info as possible instead of just copying and pasting info given at the source.
I am not pointing to anybody particular, this is for each and everyone of us including me. I mean no offense to anyone, OK.

I don't know about you... I ever once use WM6.1 that Micht created... release 6.1 ... I hate the icons... it look so messed up... i think it converted from QVGA icons. So I get back to official ROM of TMobile...

I misunderstood the context of your question.
I thought you were looking for the spl1.2 version of WM6.5
look in the sticky at the top of this forum for valid links.
I did use michy 4-1 for a while and more recently the clean 6.0 version.
Curently I am experimenting with his latest WM6.5 rom
Of course I have SPL3.5
I would encourage you to read the wiki and stickys to avoid making
the same mistakes that a lot of people are making.

Come to think of it, the shipped ROM is the best . Atleast for lazy pple
The best ROM depends on the individuals choices. A ROM which I think is best could be not that great for somebody else.
Personally I feel all the ROM available in this forum for GENE is best. Because it is giving we owners of GENE to taste the latest in the Windows Mobile technology.
For that we should be thankful to all Chefs here.

I suggest you trying Manila based ROM, than a cube ROM. As I personally feel Manila is more fringer friendly, responsive and has more Icandy to it. Just a personal opinion.

But be carefull while trying to do a HSPL, Read the thread mentioned by Haree letter by letter and understand it totally.
Only then try to do a HSPL
