Hello. Anybody got idea if there is some video capture software, that could insert a time and date stamp? Best would be if GPS could make actual speed stamp also Would be nice to have in video this info
I second that.

Here is an app that fullfills all my criteria. It cost me hours of googling.

hi,
this is a video i did this afternoon:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYqlUxiG1Wc
as you can see it s shaking a lot, even the stab is activated.
do you face the same issue? any way to improve it, or other app better for record videos?
thxx for helping
Phone Arena review says that video look better without stabilazier
Think this is shaking more then with stabilizer OFF. Sure you havent swiched the two videos?

@subsequentmusic The names of the videos are correct. As you mentioned, there is more shake in the video with the stabilizer ON. That's why we uploaded one with stabilizer OFF to show the difference.

Possible to Capture pictures while shooting video?
Maybe need a new rom for this function..
I don't think you can do so directly, it requires specific hardware (as in the HTC One X) but there is an app made by Sony called Frame Grabber in the Play Store which can retrospectively clip stills from video and it works incredibly well.
I don't know if it is hardware specific. The Galaxy S 1 can do it in the newest firmware so it could be a software feature.
When you take a clip out of the video, solution is lower than normal picutre.
Hopefully it can be added in by software fix.
I just got my new galaxy note (i717) on friday (immediately flashing it with OnlyOne beta 2 (ics)) and I would like to use it for a bit of podcasting using the front camera to record myself while I read text from some teleprompter software.
I can record video from the front camera just fine, and it actually comes out a bit higher quality than I expected even, but for the life of me, when i hit the record button and then switch away from the camera app to the prompter app, it gives me an audio notification that the camera has stopped recording.
is there prompter software that has an integrated video recorder? (that'd be pretty sweet imho) or better, some way to record video while another app (that's not particularly resource intensive) is in use? - I don't mind trimming and cutting the video together (there are actually some pretty decent editing tools for android i've found) but I can't figure out a way to record and prompt at the same time...
does anybody have any ideas?
I'm rather surprised that nobody seems to have any ideas on this... could someone at least please relay to me why this isn't possible (if it's not possible)?
I would think that this would be a reasonably popular thing to do (recording video whilst looking at a prompter or even a web page or something to do podcasting stuff...
Is this something I'm going to have to write? (I have no idea how to dev android apps).
well i'm glad to see that google does a good job at finding appropriate threads - here it is, a couple of months later, and I'm revisiting the same problem that I had before - I still can't record and prompt at the same time on my i717 (now running cm9 / cm10, not that it should matter)... I still don't get it.
i don't know what to say , u searched a program on google?i believe that is here at least 1 program for your note
Video app with built in teleprompter
There is a great teleprompter/video recording app. It's called VRT2. Unfortunately you would have to downgrade to an iPad to get it. When I saw it, I was tempted o make the switch, but I don't want to give up the advanced features of my Samsung Note 10.
I'm hoping that a great Android app developer will create something like the VRT2 soon.
When it's ready, I'm ready to buy it.
I still can't seem to find anything that does this and it would be *great* for quick video podcasting... I just want to be able to record myself on the front camera while either reading my notes or looking at a teleprompter with the outline i've created for the segment.
Video recorder teleprompter
Have you found any other software to video you with front facing camera with teleprompter on screen?
I know Ipad have one on itunes costing somewhere 24 dollars or £18 which is a professional one, not tried it but I now it does record you and at the same time has all the words you want to talk about in front of you.
Keep up to date, I don't know which tablet to buy because of this problem.
Darron
I found an APP that works well for printing Date and Time on Pictures.
It is called eCamera.
Cuts down a little on picture quality but does the job. -- skam
I see the guys in the International LG G3 forum talking about recording slow mo, but I don't see any options for the video recording on the Sprint version
I'm sure it's super-obvious, but does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks!!
[EDIT]
I found it! You go to the little gear icon in the top left of the camera application. Click the little "##M" icon that chooses megapixels... it drops down and let's you choose 120HD for slow mo.

Took me a couple of minutes to find also.
I'm glad they gave us the ability to record @ 120 but when it comes to editing how the video looks there are no options.
So even though we can play the video at 1/8 speeds (slowmo) we can't upload or share the video at the speeds. It then just becomes a 720p 120FPS video instead of slomo....
The question that I have is: Where is the ability to edit the video so that certain parts of the video can be slowed down?
Unless I'm missing something on the phone the software is a little lacking in this area.
Thanks for posting this i had no idea we had this capability
