Yes, you will. But the OTA doesn't come to everyone at once, it may take up to a month for you to get it from T-Mobile.. It will be posted here though, so you might as well just stick with the ROM you are on for now

Pretty sure this is supposed to be in Q/A mate. But to answer your question, im almost positive that the mod will work with the official update as it does with the leaked JI6 one and they only have minor differences from what i can tell

Does anybody know the correct procedure to install the official 2.2 when coming from a custom rom... im running frost as of now but I just want to see what the official release is all about. Any help is welcome.

It's simple enough. You should have it down packed after watching the vids. Can't find a thread with the 2.2 files you'll need. I'll Upload them if you need them. Let me know.

Don't bother. I tried it and couldn't get back to a custom ROM fast enough. It's even worse than 2.1

all links I found are now broken and its no longer on rom manager...idk sorry man!
Why is there no place on xda for this phone? I have been searching and so far I've only found a deodexed stock ics rom and the CM9 and CM10 rom. Does anyone know if there is a touchwiz jellybean rom for this phone, or a developer forum for it anywhere?

Galaxy i577 Exhilarrate 2.3.6 rom tar ?
Has anyone got a link up with the official 2.3.6 gingerbread tar md5 zip yet ? I know they have been working on it but no news yet. I know some have successfully flashed the t-mobile blaze 4g rom but calls and sound don't work as of now. Not really wanting to run a rooted rom as of yet cause there underconstruction mainly , Just wanting stock 2.3.6 back because the ICS freezes and lost signal after upgrade. Find anything out guy's sure would appreciate being notified , Have a good one....:good:
