Yes you can do it in ABD. I would install CM7 if I were you and you would get it straight away without any hassle. There is a guide to installing lockscreens somewhere here.

Try Lockbot Pro..it has many lock screen to choose from like iPhone, Eclair, Froyo etc..apparently not Gingerbread yet..worth giving a try...

Like djdevine2 said, install cm 6 or 7 and your good to go. Will upload the lockscreen tomorrow (metamorph needed)

lockbot could do the trick. Not perfectly but it is okay.
But you can still unlock by swiping "the old way" on the 2.1 lockscreen

I found this thread on xperia arc forum, and wanted to share it.
Transparent notification bar, battery bar, SWIPE TO REMOVE NOTIFICATION, 7 homescreen, etc.... and it works like a charm to me!

Yep, great mod . Thx for the share
Those mods are nice, but they mess with too many features of the Xperia S themes. Basically, I lost the Xperia S UI, but Auto-brightness still wasn't workning.

As i see in your profile, are you still on locked bootloader? If yes, maybe u need to unlock it cause .zip need to intall via cwm.

There is CWM recovery for locked bootloaders, that's not a problem.

I think his BL Unlock is not allowed - you can check this in the Service Menu. Not every R800i Device can be unlocked
