which ADW launcher are you using?
use ADW Launcher EX, no FC

I don't like the ADW launcher much. It lacks certain features that I absolutely loved using in the GO Launcher EX. I'm running the latest build of Grif's cyanogenmod 7.1 beta2. Would it be possible to remove adw launcher completely and replace it go launcher EX without any significant problems ?

I've been using the stock Gingerbread launcher in RC1 Beta1 from the moment I flashed it, and I've done the same with Beta2. No problems whatsoever.
Will I need to ADW launcher first before installing GO Launcher ?
Just download Go Launcher from the market, install it, press the home button and select GO Launcher. Not exactly rocket science.
i tried installing the stock ICS launcher apk onto 2.3.7 firmware but i got an error on installation.
i don't know why such a thing hapened.
is it because i'm on gingerbread ???

i have already used this.
i want the ics stock launcher cause it shows the widgets preview in the app drawer itself.
Afraid it's beyond 2.3GB for that

Hi, To allow that happen, i'm afraid it's beyond GB 2.3 version. Requires higher platform support like 3.0 and 4.0.X, so far that kinda launcher which have that ability are Nova Launcher & Trebuchet, which is only compatible to 4.0 ICS. AOKP and CM9 ROMs have that support
But there's holo Launcher for 2.2+ from Mobint original developer, not sure got your mentioned function or not. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1636393 Hope this info helps.

So yeah, i just finished flashing latest resurrection remix to my i9100, but i want to keep the stock launcher (trebuchet), is there anyway to delete xperia home launcher (its not listed on my apps list so i can not uninstall it the normal way) and just leave the trebuchet stock launcher ?

you can use this to delete system progs and move trebuchet over to the system
or you can just install Trebuchet and use this to ensure it is used as the default

Install a file Manager with Root access and then go to system/app and then search for the xperia home launcher and delete it.
You can also just install the Apex launcher or the Holo launcher HD, they are practically the same as the trebuchet launcher, but with more functions.

In addition to what they've said, I've read the RR 3.1.0 Changelog and they said that they've included the Trebuchet Launcher from CM 10. I can't confirm it for now though because I'm currently using CM10 Nightlies, but currently downloading the ROM right now.

Hi, I've tried one solution to get as close to MIUI Interface, without installing new ROM and or KERNEL, GingerBread required.
1. Install one the 1.2 cm7 theme in page linked below

2. Install MiHome Launcher, exDialer and GoSMS from Play Store
3. Buy Go SMS MIUI V4 from Play Store or you can search it
4. Activate MiLocker in the MiHome Menu
There you have close to MIUI interface android
I already have the MIUI rom , wanted to know any LDPI themes for it
I use miui and most themes fit well.

for decompile and recompile you'll need a ics framework-res.apk
You need to install the framework files on pc
apktool.jar if framework-res.apk
apktool.jar if SystemUi.apk
After this you'll be able to decompile
apktool.jar d Nova.apk

I have been working on this for literately hundreds of hours. I had to fix hundreds of xml's to make this work.
This is Nova Launcher 2.3.3 that you can now successfully decompile and compile.
Now we can all Mod and Theme Nova Launcher!!!

Be advised you will get a little love note from the original developer in Nova Settings LOL!!!
