I'm lookin for an live tv app.
For now i'm using SPB TV. Interface is excellent, very lite and smooth app. But channel list isn't good enough for me. It's north buying it i'd say.
Thanks in advance

hey everyone .. is there ORB app for touch pro or smartphone instead of going through the web?
I don't think so, it would be nice though, it would reduce a lot of overhead.
While I've got you here though, I have a question for a fellow Orb user.
What type of streaming do you use? (settings, General, streaming formats)?
Kinoma Play
2nd the Kinoma suggestion. Great app!!!

Is there any way to watch live Cricket 2011 on 01 if yes than can u guyz help me.
Switch on live cricket on ur tv, open camera app on p500, focus on ur tv screen, u got it live on p500!!
I know it's sick but I don't care
^LOL
@Devil_Dude: As of yet i dont think there is a way. The espnCricinfo app is pretty decent tho if you want to follow cricket. But it does not do Live Streaming.
Rooting for India to win it!
i am not a cricket fan but some of my friends demand dis but its not possible because no flash support!
There are a lot of live TV apps in market. I have tested channels like Sony, zee, ndtv, but not any cricket channel or sports channel. Just search. As I remember it didn't need flash.
I think it's SPB App in market.
Yupp TV and mundu TV.
Go to espnstar.com/CricketWorldCup2011
from skyfire, you can watch it live!!
is it working lolzzzz???
Skyfire is working on your devices to view streaming videos? I have tried a lot of times to view films, sport matches, or anything on streaming and it doesnt work
Have you found any way to watch tv on our O1?
Just found an app in Apple's App Store that lets you watch live TV with all the UK freeview channels for free over wifi. Just wandering if there's a similar one for Android. Cheers

personally i find the quality on that really bad
its better if you open the full tvcatchup site, not the mobile one and play from that.
TV catchup when im in the UK is pretty good,http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applications/entertainment/filmon-watch-free-live-tv_bfywl.html isn't bad either but doesn't have loads of channels
cheers guys, the apple one was actually a link to this website. but the crazy thig is that on my ipod touch (which spec wise is way below the SGS2), the video is actually smooth, where as on my phone is a frame per 2 or 3 seconds. any idea if it's the player maybe? i used the stock one and rockplayer both with same result
edit: the filmon one is crackalakin!!! cheers dudes
I recently got the Asus Prime and want to know the best apps for getting and watching tv and movies, i wouldn't mind paying for the app if need be but preferably wouldn't want to pay for every film and programme I watch, however a free app would be even better! Id like to be able to download in a WiFi area and then watch them on the go when i do not have connection. Also, what app is best for downloading and managing music free music, as I don't fancy playing for each and every song! Finally, i need a word processing app which includes word, PowerPoint and the other basic office tools, this I don't mind paying for as I'd like a good quality processing app. Any help on either of these subjects would be very helpful!
Regards Jack

For movies and shows that you already have (as well as movie trailers and youtube clips I think) I recommend the excellent Mizuu. It's like a tablet version of WMC, Boxee, XBMC, etc. The IMDb app is also an excellent representation of what a tablet optimized app should look like.
Hey Guys, heres the deal, I own the following.
Galaxy Nexus x2
Nexus 10
Ipad 2.
hanging out at your house with a bunch of people having beers and want to show everyone some cool video you found?
Well guess what, No one wants to stare are your stupid phone or tablet! Nobody cares.
However, Beam it to your sweet tv set and everyone will check it out.
I own a Boxee box and a WD tv live + these stream all my content and are dlna capable, etc..
With my Ipad If I want to shoot a youtube video to the boxee box connected to my I just hit the airplay button. This is seemless and fast.
However it does NOT do HD.
On Android you cant do this manually. BOO!
This is until I found imediashare. This app finds any capable device on your local wifi network. Smart TV's Boxee box - xbmc, etc etc.
Go to youtube app, start a video, hit share - imediashare icon. BOOM, goes right to your tv set.
The best part in all this is that it will beam HD, I tested by beaming the new Lincoln movie trailer,
started the video hit share, and my boxee kicked the tv display to 1080p and it played Beautifully!.
Check it out its pretty sweet.

They have a light version too, but i think its nuetered to sd content..
This also shoots any other media on your android device as well.
cool app and no wires needed!.
Cheers!
Great! I'll give it a shot and report back in a while
Thanks I was looking for a good airplay alternative. This might fit the bill nicely.
I've been using Twonky Beam with pretty good success beaming media to my Roku. It is completely free, which is great. Quality looks fantastic although I'm not 100% sure if its full HD. As far as I can tell its just passing on the link to the video stream directly to the Roku and nothing is actually streamed via the phone.
Anyone else have experience with both?

FYI, imediashare is the free app of the day on Amazon today.

Looks like imediashare is no longer working. It will not see my Boxee Box anymore. Has anyone else noticed this issue?
