[Q] how to add japanese/korean keyboards to firmwares? - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I want to flash my phone with one of AOSP 2.2 or 2.3 that's available on the other forum (thnx to Jerpelea and Z)...
However, those firmwares don't have any apps, junks, keyboards that comes with the normal stock firmware.
I'm asian and I need to be able to type in Korean and Japanese, and I really like the sony's keyboard that comes with x10 firmware...
Is there a way for me to somehow take those files out of my current firmware and then add it to the custom roms???
Thank you!

[Q] European languages

Hi,
Which custom ROM for the Vibrant has European languages ?
I'm interested in either Western European pack (Swedish, namely) or the Eastern European pack (Romanian). My international Galaxy S with 2.2 stock has both Swedish and Romanian, so I'm guessing there should be a custom ROM containing more than the 5 default you get with the American stock firmware.
I saw some posts about Macnut that suggest that there are more languages in R13, and read that one of Eugene's ROMs is built on the European firmware for the Galaxy S, but nothing about languages.
Also, could I "dump" or backup the keyboard on my rooted Galaxy S, and install it on the Vibrant, and get the additional languages ?
Any suggestions ?
Thanks in advance

[Q] Is it possible to get the new languages, and keyboard fonts from new .435 update?

i have to type messgaes in different languages, recently SE released the .435 update for X10 with Farsi and Arabic and other languages support which previously Android did not have. by using the original rom my phone feels sluggish and therefore i am using the Custom roms.
is there anyway i could get the langauges and fonts to use on my custom roms.

I don't think it does, I'm not seeing it listed in the language option on my device.
If its the stock android 2.3, it should support it. I had it on 2.1 and because in Canada where I live, 2.3 is still not out so I'm using WB custom ROM and even though the latest ones (4.0.4 and v5) don't come with Arabic text supported as is, there are downloads for that package which makes it work
I just upgraded to v5 as well and reflashed the font&language zip file and my Arabic is back.

[Q] what ROM have all Language MUI including Chinese?

Do anyone know, and any developer for SGS2 have ROM in Multilang that include Chinese in Traditional and Simplified?
I am using VillainROM 2.5, love the rom.
But here in Taiwan, friends and family can not read English.
Just need to change English to Chinese!
There are a lot of Chinese versions of ROMs at the Mobile01 board. Try one of these: http://www.mobile01.com/topicdetail.php?f=568&t=2188818&last=30857303
You can also just flash the official HK/Taiwan firmware. Get ZSKG2 from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278
Also try this ROM, appears to be Taiwan traditional Chinese only: CovercoTW_beta ROM for I9100

is it that LeoMar and Cognition ROMs all already include Traditional Chinese in their Rom? or Mobile01 custom it with Chinese?
LeoMar and Cognition don't have Chinese normally. The Mobile01 ones are custom versions.
I can't really recommend any because I read English better than Chinese. I got my phone from Taiwan so it came with the ZSKG2 firmware. ZSKG2 worked fine for me; you can try that if you don't need Android 2.3.4. But now I use English ROMs with Chinese IME added.

kool, thanks. All trouble for me is to my friend can not read english.
as for Chinese IME, i just use the one by Cootek for their ZhuYin / PinYin / Handwriting Keyboard. Been working like wonder!! Just have to use it frequently, so I records how the user use the words!! the more you type, the more it types the way you want it to.

Stock Rom for Motorola Atrix?

I bought Motorola Atrix from Dubai. Its Android version is 2.2.2 and system version is 4.4.80Mb860.MeRetail.en.06
I do not need Arabic on my phone. Can anyone suggest any good Stock Rom for my Atrix in English only.
You can change the system language : Settings->Language & keyboard->Select language->English .
I already did this but i just want stock rom with English only.
You are on stock rom. Stock rom is the rom that comes with your device, the rom that originally shipped with your device.
English only? all roms are multi languages .
If you want better rom, better performance and more features, start here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1154600
Thanks a lot.It helps me a lot.
