JUP, and wm6.1
As long as you keep a black skin and the possibility to use (dutch) xt9 in it, I'll be a big fan of this topic
cool Bram! if you need my help testing let me know!
I can test for you to Just let me know
One thing that would be fantastic; Norwegian T9
Keep it up, and good luck

Hey Bram, could you please inform us on the status of your progress?? We're really looking forward to it!! Also I would like to know what tweaks and programs you're embedding. By the way, you know you're TOF, right?!
I do not know the original surface rom for the Elf, but seeing the reaction of the ppl here I guess it is going to be a great rom to try on my niki.
Please give us some more details about your Rom.
thanks a lot for your effort to improve Niki device!
i used to have a ELF and used Bram's Touch Surface ROM for it. I Tried alot of ROMs and his was by far the smoothest, fastest most responsive ROM for that device. Not taking away from anyother cook at all cause they have done a excellent job and Tom's ROM so far has been really really good, but I am looking foward to Brams.
Good to hear we have a new talented cook on our Niki thread!
Btw Bram, I don't know if this is currently possible, but could you look into making "abc" as the default input method instead of xT9? I really hate xT9 since I prefer doing "text speak" (sms style abbreviated words). Thanks.
great news my friend, thank you
am also curious how it looks like *g*
any updates on this rom...??
Busy cooking the rom, currently i'm implementing all the languages for xt9.
Then the rom is almost finished.

Hi,
I' pretty sure you've seen this kind og question many times before, but i searched and came up empty handed and the wiki explains nothing.
I would very much like a custom rom on my touch pro, but the two things holding me back, is the hardware keyboard, and the general language in windows mobile. How do i add those in after flashing a new rom or can it only be done if the rom includes those things to begin with.
Thanks in advance.
Same question here......but i'm looking for the Dutch version.
Thanks alot!
Same problem here. But looking for Swedish language pack
Check out

I'm using it every time i update my ROM
Theres also a "Change between fuze and HTC Touch keyboard" application out there somewhere... (which i've also had to use some time)
Great thats one part of the question solved. Now is just the hard bit which is how i get windows mobile in danish and not english. Not that I don't speak english or anything but the native language is always better.

You'll need a multilingual ROM or something..
I prefer English to Danish tho - when it comes to OS language (both for pc and phone)..
But how can i tell if the rom is multilanguage or not?
I know thats probably a very stupid question but i haven't seen any rom topics with multilanguage in the title. Granted i haven't looked for long, but I cant recall ever seing one.
I've toyed around with Da_G's wm6.1 rom last night and i've really liked it over the stock one from HTC, but, I cant turn my head around to the english language.

Generally the thread title will tell you what language the ROM is in. WWE = World Wide English etc. Unfortunately with the visual kitchen being the way it is, it makes it easy to cook many different language roms but not very easy to cook a multilanguage ROM, if you get what I mean. Another thing is that it is actually quite hard to come aross up to date language packs for use in the kitchen.
Sorry if that is not what you wanted to hear. You could always tip your hand towards cooking your own ROM (It is not hard to do and I only learned about a year go) and then people will be able to come to you for a localised ROM

I had a feeling that was the way it was going. Thanks for telling what WWE was a abbreviation of.
I've messed around a little with Da_Gs kitchen and from the looks of it, it looks quite easy to cook my own ROM. What other tools is there to cook with?
Hey.
When you get a danish rom then i like to know
I think this rom is realy good. but will be nice in danish.

Hello people.
I saw a post in other forum refering a new rom for xperia that was here in the forum, with some style like Ark and i think in Portuguese.
It also add some programs and has better lifetime batery and faster.
A the time i have original 2.1 rom
I lost the link and i made a search in the forum but i dindt find it.
Can someone help me please
Best Regards
If its gone or lost or pushed behind, then it was probably not so much in demand anymore.
I suggest EW JET by Ericwell which could well be the ROM you are looking for as it fits the bill. Gingerbread/Arc style themes as options, long battery life and fast as a JET. Go for it

There is an app, 'morelocale 2', you should give it try without rooting your evo view first.
Hope this help.
Hi
I was wondering if ICS will be in sonystyle later.
Will someone created a ROM with theme and apps that are in sonystyle or is it that we have to find things on Google Play?
See you guys think this is a stupid question so sorry I am.

ROM
I would have tried to create a ROM with sony style.
But I do not understand me at Android Kitchen or D4's update maker zip.
I will try and find a solution that is easier to understand for me.
I am just a noob in deveveloping so I think that someone else like Paul-xxx, or someone else have to do it.
Sorry fo my bad English
I like specially the four corners launcher, what i think is the difficult part to port, the rest is only theming, but I don't think if we can have the launcher until sony releases ICS for one of their "mini" devices, I'm afraid it probably can't be ported easily
PS: Sorry for my bad english
