Has anyone had any success with overclock on the mini pro - ive tried overclockwidget - which reported 1.2ghz! but didn't actually improve the benchmark figures - the phone is rooted & running 2.1 build no .504
Also can anyone tell me why this is all so complex with android?

as fars as i know you need a custom kernel if you want to overclock
so that can take a while before we can

like the title says what's the difference between 2.0.2.A.0.24 & 2.1.A.0.435, If the differences are just between x10i and x10a, i'd like to know how to use custom ROMs that run on 2.1.A.0.435 for x10i. It really worries me to flash those custom ROMs on my existing 2.0.2.A.0.24.
with .435 you can install stable ROMs, Dualtouch etc.
There's not that much difference, except none of the mods for the earlier firmware work on .435.

435 Is the latest version and comes with dual touch already. If you're on benchmarks you will notice that the older firmware scores better but after i installed Beta4 2.2.1 it has surpassed 2.1

For everyone wondering there is absolutely no difference between x10i and x10a, it is simply a geographical initial

i have installed dual touch on my 2.0.2.A.0.24, so should i update to .435 or no point?
I wouldn't just yet... If you've already installed the dt kernel there's not really any advantage yet.

I'd use 2.2.1 if it was stable, cuz I kinda use every inch of my phone ;P, i live in singapore and flashing a global ROM like the stick in android dev sect would cause my phone to lose network operator search functionality, so i kinda took a scenic route by changing the build.prop and run SEUS. now my phone is running on cyanogen with benchmark of 1.1k ^^
Firstly I dont want to annoy anyone asking for help with tripnmiui but I'd love to get the latest K12 kernel working with his latest 1.5.5 Iris Froyo rom.
Have tried a lot of combonations with basebands and the k12 kernel but cannot get radio signal.
I remember Trip released a mod for the freexkernel when you got it running a few months back. But now the deepsleep issues are fixed id love to get it going again.
Hopefully someone here can help. Considering we have Froyo roms working theres no reason why trips froyo miui or any other froyo miui rom for that matter shouldnt either.
Thanks
trip has gone to modaco x10 forum, prob better off asking there

I have installed an undervolting script from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061691
dunno if its working though. Anyone know an app that will read states and voltages?
x10 on wolfs 2.3 v6

Hi there,
Does anyone know of an overclock app available for the new LPH kernel or is just a case of waiting for the dev's to update current overclocking apps?
Cheers
I think we will have to wait till ics kernel sources get released before any ics kernel can be modified to support overclocking.
