Change the way the dialer looks - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

One time when using a rom I did see a unique dialer that aloud me to use one green button to use google voice and the other use regular cell. I the latest version for Ka7 I don't like the way the dialer is. Is there a different dialer I can flash?

Think it's easier to just download a launcher program like ADW Launcher, download an ADW Icon Pack, create a custom shortcut and use the icon that you want for it.
Desktop Visualizer is also good for making different size icons

The white icons above are from an ADW icon pack

Im talking about the physical dialer not the icon to go into yge dialer.

Something like this is what I think he's looking for.... Mine is themed with BlackFroyo though..

I've been wondering about this too. The xperia dialer they previewed on the playstation phone looked really nice with its bluish colors.
I'm guessing it's not as easy as pulling out the dialer from a zip and flashing it over...

That is what im talking about it would nice to flash your own dialer that you like.

[Icons] Blue Gingerbread dock icons for LauncherPro/ADW Launcher

Hey, after I themed my phone with the Honeycomb theme I wanted the Gingerbread icons but blue for my dock in LauncherPro. I couldn't find any like that anywhere so I made my own using the icons from this thread and just used "replace color" in Photoshop. Thought I'd share if anyone else wanted blue icons.

[Q] Could anybody port this to X10 from ARC?

Arc has a unique reminder for unread messages and missed calls.

After testing the arc rom, i found that it has nothing to do with any other apk but the conversations.apk and semcphone.apk
But i cant port it to x10. It FCs while dialing.
Could anybody do this?
Many launchers on the market have that kind of addon. Go Launcher has Go Launcher Ex Notification, ADW has ADW Notifier. Not sure about the stock tho. But Id recommend you get one of the market launchers cause they are better than the stock SE (can theme, get addions, customize, etc)
thank u for ur recommendation...
i like these launchers.
but TS widgets may only available in SE launcher...
and that's what i like very much.
T.T
The closest thing I could find on the market is an app called "SMS Unread Count". But from what I read in the description, it creates widgets (that look like icons) on the desktop so im not sure if you could put them in your app bar.
i'll try it.

Me looking for this one too!
this is increasingly frustrating
those screens are fake made in photoshop, that widget does not exist
found this theme but not incl. clock/weather widget
nice widgets..i also think the are hard to exist..but lets c if someone knows the name of it .
Its called "Go locker Diva Theme" search for it in market.
It's not the lock screen. We need the clock widget for Diva theme.
ok, so after some google-ing, i think i may have found it and if this isnt exactly it, its pretty close and offers a ton of customization.

Why are some of my app drawer icons not being skinned by downloaded theme?

I have rooted my S3 and am running on Foxhound 1.2 ROM. Am using Apex Launcher Pro and have downloaded one of the launcher's themes from the Play Store. Here's the link to the theme I downloaded: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...pbWFsdGV4dC5reWxlZGVzaWduZWRtZS5hZHd0aGVtZSJd
Anyway so now I have a problem. The theme doesn't skin all of my icons in the app drawer and I'm not sure why. Here's what it looks like now. The same problem apps were unskinned on my homescreen as well but I was able to change them manually. Any ideas how to do the same for the app drawer, or why the theme cannot be applied to those icons? Thanks!

Hi,
Have you rebooted?
Or it's just simply because the author of the theme has not (yet) skinned the icones of these apps (strange for the icone of Apex launcher since it's a theme for Apex )?
You can send a mail to the dev...
Yup I have rebooted and restarted the launcher as well. I don't think it's because the developer has not skinned those apps yet because I was able to manually find the icons for them on my home screen. Just really puzzled as to why they're not being auto detected in the drawer. Sigh.
Do you think wiping cache would help?

Request: Transparent Google Voice Widget

I'm looking for a transparent Google Voice widget. I've searched high and low on XDA and the web and have probably tried 8 different apks that claim to be transparent but they don't work for me. I had one working on my Epic but the transparency doesn't show on the Note 2. I'm running Sprint stock LJC rooted. Any help would be appreciated, but please, don't post a link unless you've tried it and know it works. Thanks!
hmm,I might be able to help. Will look at it tonight, If you're ok with it being based off the one my sig

Here, just made this-- made it mostly transparent (since it contains text) to make it legible on most backgrounds.
FYI, the widget layout is different for the epic, which is why it wasn't showing up the same on the note.
