I'm using Axura's latest version. Which keyboard works with Axura?
Probably all? Lol
Better keyboard works fine. But the stock 2.3 keyboard is the best.

I don't have Stock. How do i get stock? I upgraded from a previous version on Axura. My MTM Gingerbread one doesn't even work. I tried to install, it would return back as error.

I can't remember where exactly its at, but if you look in the themes and apps section you will see a 2.3 gingerbread keyboard thread. Just download your color choice and flash through CWM.

as black as night (or like the BlackFroyo themed keyboards)
Yes I get fc too. This happend earlier today when I flashed a diff multi-touch keyboard. The problem is that this is only compatible with 2.1. We need someone to port this to 2.2.
It's an app, so there should be away to do this without root, but this requires root.
This is for 2.2, not eclair.
Post 1 updated. Go to that other thread... i sesrched, but i thought it would be here... not the dev section.
text prediction (@ least in spanish) isn't that great compared to some other KB's but nonetheless this is a good sign of things to come
I stumbled on this this morning. I have to say, this is the best keyboard I've used in portrait mode. Not counting Swype of course.
I want to put another rom on my vibrant but dnt know which to chose. Coming from aosp 1.1 jk2

no bugs, fast, smooth. Just the ticket for Froyo goodness.
Do a clean flash to stock first.

And only restore User Apps. Some JK2 system data doesn't play nice with JK6 system data.
Axura is very smooth.

Anyone know how i can get rid of this
Im runing a
vibrant 2.2 rooted stock kernal
Since you don't know what settings you messed with...
Odin.
This is a known issue with 2.2.1. Try a different mms app or a different rom. Google did fix the issue in revision 2 of Froyo but I haven't seen that software from Samsung. I assume, yes I know what they say, that the fix carries over to Gingerbread.

+1 for go sms pro, its much better than the stock messaging app, although I can think of some purists that only want to use stock apps.
So aside from using another app, is there no actual fix for this phone?

I see. I believe this is a bug with 2.1 or 2.2.
Supposedly there is an update (via PC only) but it says absolutely nothing about what it did: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-1796

How do you update to 2.3.3 officially?
I am running the VRALL4 Stock Rooted and De-Odex'ed rom from Scrosler. So far, its a great rom, I haven't really had any problems with it. Except I cannot figure out how to enable all apps in multi-view with a De-Odex'ed rom. I absolutely love this feature and would really like to get it back. Is there any way to do that on this rom? Or am I going to be forced into a different rom?
I dont think that rom have that mod. Check out this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2028535 some people said it works after the ota.

Look in your app drawer for 'MCW'. I believe that's what it is called. Blue circle icon.

I tried this. It seems that because the rom is De-odex'ed, this doesnt work. There is nothing to replace when I copy the files to their appropriate folders because all .odex files have been removed.
@1ManWolfePack
I did not find this app installed on the rom. I went and found it here on XDA. I tried installing just the app, it seems to function however, the apps in the multi-view bar are not changed at all. I also tried flashing the framework files..... that resulted in a bootloop and I had to restore to before I flashed the framework file.
Thank you guys for helping me! Any other suggestions that I could try?
Check cleanrom verizon edition. Im running it and it have the multi view mod. It works perfect on my device.

Sorry about the boot loop. This will give you that app and unlock the multi view tab, but you'll be transparent:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2116579
Dirty flash your rom afterwards to lose the transparency but retain features. I believe that's how I did it. Lol.

Mmmmm.... so far, that doesn't seem to work either. Crashes the flashbar service every time I try to open it. But I don't have much time to play with it right this second. I will give it another shot later, and if it doesn't work... idk, ill probably go and flash beans rom or clean rom.
Weird. I thought you were already on CleanROM?

Thanks. Yeah, still not sure why the multi Window mod didn't work. Transparent one.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
Sorry it has taken me so long to reply, got really busy.
I played around with the transparent mod again, still nothing. It just keeps crashing the flashbar service every time I try and open it. I guess I'm going to just either flash Beans or Clean rom or go back to stock and start all over. Thanks for your help guys!

Look in Scott's "Recently Archived Builds" link on his website. You can get the 1.0 SE there. Doubt there is further support since he archived it but really... anything that is missing in the Vzw 1.0 light can be found elsewhere. At least this way you have an option to have it or not.
Also, that is the LJB build, the new one is based of the new OTA, LL4, and new bootloader. I have the new bootloader and won't trust mixing the two.
