Hi all,
I love watching YouTube HD videos on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 but have a WiFi only model and when not at home I have no way of watching them :-( Can anyone suggest an app that will allow me to copy\save them in HD to the tab? I downloaded BestTube last night but it looks like it's designed for phones only as when I play back the video it's tiny and there is no way to make it full screen....
Cheers,
M

Re: Download Youtube videos
Download the Program Ultraget Video (Free).
After this go to YouTube.com and Click in your favorite Video Clip.
Highlight the URL and right click the mouse and select "copy".
Enter To the Program Ultraget Video, And Click in "IMPORT VIDEO" and paste your link of YouTube in the box there and click on "OK".
Wait for a few seconds and a Download (FLV Format) message will appear.
After you download the video, you need a special Player to play youtube videos.
This is because the file is in .FLV and other formats.
There a, song I really want that's on Youtube, is there any way I can just download the audio with a app?

Not with the app, however, there are YouTube to mp3 converters on the internet. I think there is even one on the market

i've used that one in the past. works really well if you want to use your computer
Use JetVD. www.jetvd.com Download the regular version for the option to save both video or audio. Its free. Its an Android app. You have download from the website because the market app is only the lite version.

I use real player to download mp3's from YouTube. It allows you to download the video then has options to convert it to multiple different formats

TubeMate works quite well. You can download videos (even in mp3 format as well) straight to your device. I couldn't find it on the market, but it's a free app so I'll share the apk.

Hello.
I have a question . Is there any streaming videos downloader for android devices ??
Not for youtube but for any site I mean a downloader that works on any video streaming site no matter what it is . And no problem if it downloads it as Flv file because I have MX player.
What I mean by streaming videos r videos that r watched online like youtube.

.... rather than youtube app.
Hey guys,
Pretty self explanitory question.
I have tried Boat Browser and Dolphin, and they both behave the same way. If I google search for a youtube video through one of those browsers, and I click the youtube link from the google results... it will go to the youtube mobile page within the browser (rather than open the youtube app and play the video).
Anyone know how to force the youtube app to always play videos linked from browsers?
Thanks for any help.
U can try tubemate for watching Youtube Videos in different resolutions and Also you can download them...

Check if you have defaults set for those browsers (clear them if yes).

Just set your browsers Web to mobile version instead of desktop and I recommend you to use uc browser.
Is it possible to view online videos from the stock android browser on an external video player app. Now the video just opens in the stock browser. I don't always get the video choose prompt when viewing a video on the stock browser.

How can i do this, if i dont even get the prompt to choose player from?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Free mobile app
I think it depends on the browser.. If browser has inbuilt video streaming functionality then it will not show any prompt.. And video will be played in browser.. I use chrome and dolphin both and both have inbuilt video player.. So choose other browse other than these two like inbuilt Android browser..
