Do you think that all of your recent ROMs are nearly the same ? They just different in the boot screen, loading animation and the theme (and 6.5 vs 6.5.3)? Do we need too much rom like this ???

I think this Rom same as Twin's Rom by rataplan. just different on boot animation, boot screen, themes manila, sms colour, and with added some application. RIGHT??

Yes,correct,all Niki roms are Windows 6.1 or 6.5 or 6.5.X,
-Twins is 6.5.X
-Twice is 6.5
-Davideuck is 6.5
-Cleanblack is 6.5
-Titanium 3 is 6.5.X
-Phone7 is 6.5.X
The difference between them are: the builds, themes, splash, buttons, wallpapers, applications ...
but all are Windows and are therefore similar.

Because of the inactivity of the file, it was automatically deleted from SendSpace... anyway, I did try to integrate some of the applications of the touch to WM5, but many of them don't work out-of-box. There are some fixes to that (which I intend to put on a ROM I'm cooking), for the home plugin for example.
I'm working on the last AKU 3.3 from T-Mobile official ROM, so it will be clean, touch driver enabled (just the scrolling with fingers). The cube and home plugin are kinda useless to me...
erm, i didn/t see that post earlier, tell me, how can i cook wm5 custom rom?
i made very customised, optimised wm06(23 mb of custom apps, 34 mb mem free etc..), now - i am thinking about wm05 treated same way..i am wondering about possibilities of making same thing with wm05...
what can i use to cook? molski's method only?

Thanks
The only Touch Soft that is in there is the home plugin, commanager and the dialpad. You can remove them (I made the instalation via Extended Rom ) if you like.
The touch driver (the new driver for the touchpanel so that you can scroll with fingers, instead of using stylus), is embeded with the OS
I have to remove PCM Keyboard from the ROM cause it's time limited. Although we can remove it and update it, tene the keyboard dev has requested to remove it from the ROM. As requested, I'll remove it, then if you wish, you can install it in your device.

1- The touch driver is working
2- OS 5.1.195 build 14955.2.3.0 -> it's based on AKU 2.3 Wizard's Love ROM, I intend to upgrade this ROM to AKU 3.3, which comes with a lot of new features and fixes.
3- Yes, its without the carrier logo, only the name.
4- Yes and no. For some reason, it only works until you softreset your phone... my guess is this issue will not be present on updated AKU.
5- Pagepool is 6MB, but on later version I'll make it 12MB so that the ROM flys!

it will reinstall whatever you backed up and that you select to reinstall, but remember this includes a lot of settings that may be different between the roms
Anybody else having trouble with the regedit app on this rom, seems i can only type numbers, no letters

After a hard reset the reg edit app is working fine, been using this rom for a week now no other problems

Internet Explorer not work for me in this ROM.

Seems to be a mix of older software from WM6.0 and newer WM6.1 software in this ROM. (Solitare for example)
Does fix the Sync issue, Call history, and alighnment of the aphabet in the contects list.
Not sure what would be the better 6.1 rom at this point, both have their own problems.
I haven't really fully tested this rom though.

Not really stable for me
I've been using this ROM for a week or so and I'm experiencing some random freezes. I use my Nike just for data connections (mail and so...) and I have found it frozen twice.
It didn't happen while in use so I can't say much about it, I just tried to wake up the device and did not response, had to reset the device.
I'm sorry about not providing any useful information.

The 19949 have one problem, to all users GPRS icon dont show. Kaiser have the same problem!!!!
Solved, I forgot to hard re-boot my device after flashing.

Additionally for me, the boot screen animation only cycles once (and not continuously).
Just some more feedback:
The on-screen keyboard (both the QWERTY and the Keypad) only appears to type in numbers and symbols, I can't seem to type letters using it.
htc home is not working good Photodailing photo,s disapear after reset and task tab i can not ad applications furtheron the rom seems fast though
Planewalker001, for what I've sen in this forum the boot gifs dont loop, they just make one pass, what others do is duplicate the entire animation 3 or 4 times, but it would became too heavy for that, I can review the animation so that it becames smaller in size.
looking-g, I'm having problems with the HTC HOME plugin too, in my case the weather only updates via GPRS and not USB sync.
I'm thinking of installing a newer version from this forum.
Or HelloNasty, will there be a patch or quick-fix for these of some sort?

The new dialler is ver nice, but it loses teh functionality of the keypad in the default... in 0.3.3, sliding the keyboard out had the contacts on the screen, whilst the new one doesn't. Is there a way to disable the new dialler?
Remade the boot animation and changed it a little bit:

2. letters on the HTC keyboards are smaller then before (ver 3.5.3 OK)...why?
3. there is standard (ugly) volume bar
4. delated appointments still appears on the main screen (after locking devices)

Hey, I was just getting ready to flash your former version and now I see you have one with 6.5.x Guess I´ll be trying this one instead. Downloading

Edit 03:15 Well, after reading and catching up a little on how to "flash" my old NIKE (first upgrade the latest ROM Release for my device from HTC, then sspl 1.6, HSPL 1.22) and everything still fine (new ROM & newer radio), the whole process took about an hour including all downloads and reading, I flashed this new ROM. All went fine, no issues what so ever, and to my great and pleassant surprise, the ROM is simply fine, perfect 5 minutes and all was set up and working. Just like on my HD2. I must congratulate you for an excellent job well done. To bad and sad our little Duals don´t have wifi. Now the only thing left to do is to customize a bit (I don´t like the round softkey buttons - I´ll see what else I can find out here in xda or mod the ones I have on my HD2) and see if I can get CHT (CoOkie´s Home Tab) working somehow - if not, then also a few mods here needed
Summary, excellent job and muchisimas gracias for your effort. I´m convinced that your English version will be highly appreciated by others. Awesome Custom ROM close to stock. You just made me like my Nike again

Hola, Wildfire sound good I solved my round buttons issue installing some of the Themes for WinMo by Livven Livven Themes for WM 6.5/6.5.3, so now I also have my square buttons turning blue (or green, red, black) when I touch them The only three things I missed after install were "My Phone" (for sync contacts easily), the "tools / herramientas" folder with access to com-manager and a TaskManager like the one in Win 6.1 or the HD2. But no biggie, since MyPhone can easily be installed over the air and the taskmanager is also a very personal choice. On the quick-link to com-manager I´ll have to check if I can tweak that in registry or by separate cab install.
Good thing about manila 2.0 is that images are plain pngs and not manila qtc files, so modding a few is a simple task.
If there is anything you want me to test or help you out with, just let me know. I did notice a considerable increase in connection speed with the new radio and your ROM, so thanks again for it
