Any one out there using Dell Streak on Bell Mobility Canada?
What APN settings are you using?
I'm awaiting information on the Bell APN as well.

I've emailed Bell about it and hope for a reply soon. I'm able to access the mobile network but unable to download MMS messages.

my Dell Streak will not connect to any networks, and it is unlocked. What do I do?
I apologize. I did research on this before posting, but apparently didn't do enough. My original message said that the Streak wouldn't work on Bell, but I didn't dig deep enough to realize Bell utilizes a hybrid network, with the HSPA+ GSM component activated in 2009.
Am not on Bell but on Telus.
My suggestion is to go on Bellmobility websitd and check ? Telus does post its APN setting on its site. Perhaps Bell does the same ?

The best you can find from Bell is in my post above from the Bell website. They would not give me the APN over the phone.
(Currently not with Bell while living in Germany).

To anyone with a G2 or even have a Hero on T-Mobile UK with working MMS could supply me the settings, I would appreciate it.
I have been on the phone with T-Mobile and they have been absolute rubbish, they don't even have the settings for the G2 on their system yet.
The problem is I can't send any MMS at all on my phone using T-Mobile, and yes I have MMS set up on my account as I tried in a different phone and all works well. I have also tried my o2 sim in the hero and that works perfectly.
What seems to happen is the recipient receives the message but can't view and on my end I get the failed to send message about 30+ mins later

Dayyzzz you are an absolute star . You have managed to solve my problem where no-one else could, not even the people paid to do so.
The profile I got from T-Mobile had a username of "user" and password of "one2one" which never worked.
Now if only I knew how to get faster speeds as currently I'm only getting 250kbit/s on full bar HSDPA (I get a faster upload than download ). What makes it worse is when I put my O2 sim in I get 2000kbit/s, and I thought T-Mobile had the better data network.

You need to set up a separate APN for MMS, with an "APN Type" (last parameter in APN settings) of "mms".

I spent 90 min on the line to T-Mobile tech support and at the end they told me that there is something wrong with phone. Then I spent five min reading this post and its working now.

Np i contacted Tier 3 Tmobile support they recommend putting them in. Thats because i am Data roaming. Not sure about you.

Yes dont put anything in there. for your area may be different. Contact tmobile and asked to speak with Tier 3 for "Unsupported Phones" and confirm with them Some areas maybe different.
Man, T-mobile has some good support, AT&T will not have anything to deal with Unsupported Phones. They even wanted to read me a list of 15 things about the hazards of phones that are not AT&T branded.
Ok, I finally got a 3G sim card for my phone, i put it in and everything, but.. no 3G? I know I'm within coverage because my friend has it.. I tried a different APN setup that I found on the interweb but still all I am getting is Edge. . . could someone help me out..? Whatever is showing beside the signal bar eg. 3G, H, 4G ... Which is the data speed your phone is currently running on
as of late and now all the time, I am not getting any data on my phone. I have tried various ROMS, wiping the phone carefully between ROMS to see if that might be the issue but to no avail.
I don't see any 3G/4G/LTE inidication here. I know that I am in a poor area byt my parents' iPhones both have data.
Could my phone's radio have gone bad? Could a rom have flashed a bad radio?
Any possible fixes to try?

I have the same trouble. Tried the stock AT&T rom and now with BlackStar X. Same result. If it's APN settings, what should I modify? Where do I get the default settings needed? Also, when roaming, do these settings nedd to be modified? I'm with Kodoo, owned by Telus. Do I have to input it for a new carrier while roaming? Surelly not...

Strange. I've checked the APN settings from Koodo, they are the same as Telus. Same IP address. But, the APN name change. I've done it just to be sure and...it worked!! sp.koodo.com instead of sp.telus.com get me back my LTE signal. :laugh: I'm happy now. But I'm still concern about roaming. What will happen when I'll leave this zone and get, lets say, on a Rogers tower?
