1. WARNINGS!!
a. I'm not reponsible for any damage to your device. You should always be
able to just re-flash your device, but who knows wth can go wrong.
This is provided as is without any guarantees.
b. DO NOT EDIT THE DEFAULT CONFIGURATION FILES MANUALLY UNLESS YOU KNOW
WHAT YOU'RE DOING! Everything that the config files contain is easily
edited by using the default-configuration as base in the task-editor.
2. Configuration
Follow the steps on screen in the task. It'll ask you a lot of stuff, but
don't worry, it should be extremely clear what you are selecting on.
Important info:
JITv002:
Users of x10a firmware have reported issues with JIT more often than
those using x10i. x10 SO-01B firmware doesn't work with JIT at all.
Furthermore, JIT is only useful to be enabled on SE Roms. Custom ROMs
will have JIT already enabled.
Density Changer:
The default configuration changes the Density to 200, down from 240.
It basically makes everything smaller on screen. Some applications
might not work properly with the new size (because the developers
thought it'd be a great idea to not code the program flexibly
enough to scale nicely)
You can always just set it back to 240 if you decide that's better
for you.
3. How-To: Use This
Requirements: a. Windows or Linux PC,
Ubuntu Linux 10.10 Recommended
@MAC Folks: Don't have one, can't test. feel free to
submit patches/make own version
Usage: 1. Enable USB Debuggin in
Settings -> Applications -> Development
2. Plug in USB Cable
3. On Windows: Run RunMeWindows.bat
On Linux : Run RunMeLinux.sh
4. Follow On-screen instructions.

Thank you very much but why deleting all the keyboards ?
Not everybody wants to keep any of them. I personally only keep the JP one (and install swype per custom-folder) because I haven't looked for a better JP one yet. And as a little hurdle for those that don't care to read. This is supposed to be configured to everyone's own needs, not to what I dictate, else it would just be scripts without a config-folder
So if i don't want ie the english keyboard to be removed i just remove the English file from the Clean Keyboards ?
Indeed.
It only removes those that have files in the folders.
If you want to keep all, remove the whole directory.
If you want to keep only english, just remove the English file.
It's kinda weird because the .bat went fine, closed and my phone rebooted but the fonts didn't change ,there were no amelioration of Quadrant's score and it's a bit laggy. But the replacements apps ect... are here so I don't know what went wrong :/
Can you pull the log files from your phone? (in /sdcard/post-root/logs) and post then zipped or pastebin them?
My phone went up to almost 700 on second quadrant-run after another reboot (I had one run with 400 before that reboot, one with 620 or so after it)
And that's with a lot of other junk installed.
Well I ran it a second time and same, I can't seem to mount my SD Card, I click on mount and it does nothing... I had this a problem a long long time ago and had to reflash the phone...
EDIT : it just mounted without me touching anything.
Here is the log
can you do adb pull /sdcard/post-root/logs in a cmd in the program folder from the extracted zip?
I zipped all the files there was in logs is it ok ?
Thanks =)
Seems I might've overlooked something simple.
I'm reflashing my phone again, atm.
As a quick fix for now:
install busybox from market, install the git-version and then run the scripts again
that *should* fix it, unless I overlooked something.
What do you mean by git-version ?
EDIT : Nevermind. I'm re-doing the .bat
Well it worked like a charm ! Thank you ttxdragon, the installation was way faster than before and the fonts worked.
Quadrant score : 575 at the first boot, i'm rebooting atm
698 after !
i cant do it :S
it always says that any device had been found

You need your phone to be turned on and USB Debugging also with of course the usb wire plugged to your phone.
If all of those things are done it should not display that.
debug mode... xD
problem solved

Glad it worked.
Uploaded v0.1 -- Now it should work even without installing busybox from market first.
I was being an idiot...
Thank you very much for this optimizer, works like a charm
Quadrant score - 699.
One question though. I used the v0.0, and I'm not a fun on the LCD Change, so I'd like to know if I just remove the file as stated in v0.1, will it make it 240 as before?
quadrant score - 673
nice work !
Yes, it would change the Density back. It'll do everything over again, including the JIT (in which step the density gets changed, too)
Glad it worked for you =)
you can simply download from market lcd density. you will find 3 programs, choose the free one, and change to 240..
i've done that, it worked
sorry my bad english xp

Installation from any ROM:
If you already have a modified phone you can skip some steps. In case of doubt just follow every step and you can't go wrong. Checks are built in to prevent "bricking" your phone.
1.) Download FlashTool_0.2.9.1.exe.
Install and run X10FlashTool.exe
2.) OPTIONAL: Download the stock 2.1.1.C.0.0 from here and flash it on your phone (follow the instruction on FlashTool). You need to do this if you don't have baseband M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015 on your phone. After restart turn on Unknown Sources and Debugging in Application Settings as stated in FlashTool instructions. Root using following step.
3.) IF NOT ROOTED ALREADY: Please root the device using FlashTool, wait for restart and press "Ask Root Perms", and accept on your phone.
4.) Install xRecovery using FlashTool
If you like setting up your phone by using the Wizard, do it now. After installing Clean ROM you can only do it by using settings menu.
5.) Download latest version of 2.1.1.Clean.0.0 (link above) and copy to root of SD card and rename to update.zip
6.) Reboot (power phone off and on again). When you see "Sony Ericsson" logo press back key a few times. You should see the xRecovery menu.
7.) OPTIONAL: To reset all settings to default, select "Factory reset (full wipe)" from the menu. This is recommended when you're coming from a different custom rom, but please make sure you made a backup of your data first.
8.) Select "Install update.zip from SD Card" and "Yes - Install /sdcard/update.zip"
9.) Reboot and enjoy the speed!
To make most use of the battery:
- Charge to 100%
- Boot into recovery and wipe battery stats
- Reboot and unplug charger
- If battery percentage is less than 100% repeat procedure.
- Use the phone like you do normally but don't charge the phone untill it's completely drained and won't turn on by itself anymore.
- Charge battery to 100% again you're set.
Be sure to read post #2 below!
Special thanks to;
- bitmovel for initial development support
- bugoink2 for testing
- flex96 and dr.norton for help and inspiration
- my wife for giving me the Xperia X10 Mini Pro as a birthday present
- Sony Ericsson for such an awesome piece of hardware in a very small package
- all the chefs of light roms who make phones faster
Add-on packs:
Download and copy files to root of SD card, boot into xRecovery, select "Install custom zip", select "Choose custom zip from sdcard", select and install file.
211Clean00_CameraFM.zip (924.42 KB)
- contains Camera, Album and FM Radio
211Clean00_SEapps.zip (2.24 MB)
- contains Alarm, Calendar, Calculator, E-mail client, Timer, Stopwatch and Notes
Post-installation setup:
After ROM flash you need to set up your data connection (3G or WiFi) add/sync your Google account.
Then you can install your favorite apps by downloading them from the market and/or restore your apps using backup software (ofcourse you should have made a backup of your apps before flashing the rom).
Personally I use MyBackup Root from the market which is very user friendly and free.
Camera: Install your favorite camera software, and "Button Shortcut 1.6" to assign it to the camera button long press.
I recommend "Camera360 v2.2", which has a stabilizer function, so no more blurred snapshots.
I've attached the standard Camera and Gallery 3D in this post.
Ringtones: copy your favourite ringtones in /sdcard/ringtones and alarms in /sdcard/notifications
Personal favourite apps:
Camera: Camera360 Ultimate v2.2
Calendar: CalenGoo
Browser: NineSky
Music player: PowerAmp
Weather: Snowstorm
Backup: MyBackup Root
Task killer: Advanced Task Killer
Need more space for apps: Link2SD
Misc: EasyMoney, KeePassDroid, Missed Call Reminder, Root Explorer, SD Maid, ClockSync
btw. Don't ask me to upload apps, Google is your friend.

Download Removed.zip (32 MB) with all files that have been removed.
To restore a removed app, copy the .apk to /system/app, set permissions to rw-r--r-- and reboot
Guide (Advanced users only): HowTo make optimal use of your clean ROM
Your phone has two partitions, /system and /data, which are approx. 200MB in size.
The /system partition is where your ROM resides and is static (does not change), /data is where everything during use is stored (dynamic / changes).
By installing a Clean ROM, apps and services that were in the standard ROM have been removed so space is freed from the /system partition. There's approx. 80MB doing nothing and staying there.
To make use of that space we can move our own favourite apps into that space, so you have even more free space on the /data partition.
There's two ways to do this... you can either copy your favourite .apk's into the ROM zipfile's /system/app directory before flashing it (I use Total Commander to do this), or you can use Titanium Backup Pro (you need Pro version) to do it on the phone itself.
Using Titanium Backup:
- backup the app
- long-press the app and select "Convert to system app"
- restore "Data only"
If you do "Convert to system app" only, some apps loose their settings.
If you want to update an app you have to:
- backup the app
- convert to user app
- update the app from market
- convert to system app
- restore data
Ofcourse this can be a bit of a drag, so leave apps that get updated often on /data
Anyway, with something like 20 apps installed on my phone, all moved to /system except SuperUser and Titanium Backup Pro I've still got 123MB free on /data

Thank you for this easy and clean ROM!!
I've been waiting for ages for such one.
But does it have dual touch?
Thats maybe one thing you can put in too?
and maybe the AIO Automatic Installation Script?
Thanks for your input. I'm considering adding the things you mentioned, but maybe it's more important to concentrate on things to remove instead of things to add?
Even the dual-recovery is a bit over the top in my opinion as clockwork takes almost 3MB of space!!!
Opinions differ on the usefulness of dual-touch on such a small screen except for showing off.
My fruit ninja scores are way higher when I play it on my son's HTC Legend, even though it lags like hell being crammed full of sh*t ;-)
Maybe if we have a fully optimised ROM in a few weeks we can think about making a second version with extra features?
Please install ROM and tell me what you think, and by all means stay critical ;-)

Yeah! I agree about that! I really like that you have removed all of the SE **** You are completely right, strip it down as much as you can and maybe then you could start implementing things in the ROM I'm just about installing it now, I will write as soon as I can about it. Both good and bad things
I wouldn't call all SE stuff useless... a lot of the standard stuff is very finger/user friendly and I wouldn't change it in the world for any 3rd party app. Therefore tiny apps like stopwatch and timer are still inside...

Hey never seen that one before! Perfect solution for people who are after features!
Makes me able to keep attention to diet! ;-)
Update!: Uploaded new 211Clean00_XRecovery.zip.
The old one was compatible with CWM and would not format system before applying update.
Installation routine double-checked, no need for SD-maid, just uninstall everything from settings menu.

Not does, I mean more like the google stuff, navigator, maps etc.
there are many apps that are useless actually but their are some that are good like the notes, gmail, calendar, calculator, camera, timer, stopwatch, contacts.
I have installed it now and used it for a couple of hours. It's brilliant!
So fast and smooth, but there are still some minor things You can remove(but that's only my opinion)
i'm happy you like it. One person downloading and installing is enough for me to make my efforts uploading worth wile, so thank you!
Tell me what you'd like removed... I guess radio, timer, stopwatch, alarm? Afaik the old album can not be removed as it's part of camera.

This thread is here to help people, so suggestions welcome, even when the suggestion is to not give in... ;-)
If there's something everybody uses, like for instance Advanced Task Killer then it might be better to include in ROM.

Thanks pfonck for this ROM, yes, I like the clean one
Maybe I can suggest for Undervolt and Overclock, as for undervolt, it could help the longer batt run
for Advanced Task Killer, people can easily get from market anytime.
So just put something that you can NOT easily install from market, please...
I wonder what the quadrant score on this rom is on 600mhz, can anyone share that?

If you want higher score, enable JIT
I'm testing Dual Touch and Undervolt right now.
btw. added those two manually in 15 minutes so if you think you must have these now... go ahead

Feature Request:

Screen brightness toggle / popup in notification area for brightness control

If you go into settings>display>brightness and uncheck "Auto Brightness", you can adjust the brightness of your screen by swiping right or left on the notification bar at the top of the phone screen.
First you must long-press on the notification bar without dragging it down. Then you can adjust the brightness by swiping left/right.
Does this have the lagfix already applied to it or do we have to apply it after we flash it?
You must add ghetto lagfix for now , it's will be inside the rom Releaese 2 or 3 version , Feature plan.
Thanks, screen brightnesses working fire me now, I think I wasn't holding down long enough before swyping.
Screen brightness quality Raises , you are right.
Also picture & video quality increased.
So wait - does the international version have a light sensor? The USA version does not (hence we don't even have the auto brightness checkbox)
I'm guess notification swiping is failing because of autobl being completely unavailable instead of disabled on the USA version.
I may need to try playing with an international ROM base.
Just tried it on an XXKPF based international rom. There are no auto brightness adjustment but the I can control the brightness using the notification bar.
"Application not installed" for some applications
I tried to flash this firmware and found that I have problem restoring some apps from my Titanium Backup. The restore will just freeze at these app. Some of these apps are Whatsapp, winamp, etc..
From the logcat, I observed the following errors:
Code:
PackageManager( 134): Package com.whatsapp requires unavailable shared library com.google.android.maps; failing!
After some search on the internet, i found that the library can be found in the Google Apps Package. Here is what i did to resolve that:
1. Download gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
2. Extract com.google.android.maps.jar and place it into the folder /system/framework
3. Extract com.google.android.maps.xml and place it into the folder /system/etc/permissions
4. Set the permission of both files to rw-r--r--.
5. Reboot your device.
eng_matt, maybe you can add this in the next release of your rom? THanks!
you should be able to use the 3 button method to get into recovery mode.
similar recovery picture:
Just to recap that method...
With the phone completely shut down, press and hold the VOLUME UP, HOME and POWER buttons until you see the White logo SAMSUNG appear. At this point, release the power button but keep the other two held in. As soon as you see some coloured text appear, release everything and the phone will be in recovery mode.
From here you can use the volume up/down button to move the highlight, and the home button to make the selection.
You must do that when you flash rom ;
in Clockwork recovery mod :
wipe cache partition ---> OK
Wipe data/factory reset --> OK
reboot system now.
İf you don't do this some apps maybe don't work , like google maps , normally google maps work perfectly. You need clean installation.
İf you have a trouble try this method.

Hi gentlemen,
Could someone share the last offline speech recognition files for French language?
Here the steps to process (5 min)
You need to be rooted
Open Google app > settings > voice > offline speech recognition
Go to "All" tab and download the french (France) package
When it is done, open your file explorer as root and go to /data/data/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox/app_g3_models
Copy and zip the fr-Fr folder and paste it in your google drive or elsewhere to share it with community
I need it because my SOC x86 Intel Lollipop device is not allowed to download offline voice package by Google. This option is just missing. Unfortunately it is a known issue that some devices are excluded from downloading those files and it can't be fixed in any way.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2549644&page=9
I know this workaround works perfectly because I'm currently using it for the en-US language package v215 that enables offline dictation and voice command.
Thanks

Wiz *** Pixelize your Galaxy S8
"Extreme debloat: Go where Samsung has never gone before"
*** Development of this ROM has stopped *** (reason: switched to One+ device)
This is an extremely debloated Samsung oreo rom with absolutely minimal Samsung functionality mimicing the look and feel of a Google pixel. The basic apps (dialer, messaging, contacts, gallery, keyboard) are from Google. ROM works on G950F (S8) and G955F (S8+) (I only tested S8 as I do not own an S8+). Should work on SM-950FD as well as reported in https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75844308&postcount=332. Personally I very much like the Samsung phones/hardware but I am not so fond of the software and bloatware. If you want Samsung stuff, stop reading, press the BACK button on your browser, and use another ROM !!!
Upfront "warning"
This ROM is integrated with (a) the NX kernel and (b) a slightly patched version of Magisk. Flashing another kernel on this ROM might BREAK things. Same holds for Magisk. I always use the latest versions of the kernel / Magisk in the new releases so there is no need to upgrade kernel / Magisk yourself. You have no benefit whatsoever in doing that anyway.
Features
The ROM contains (only) the following Samsung applications: Settings (you can't get rid of this), Camera (because it uses all hardware capabilities of the phone at best); camera patched to use Google Photos as "gallery"; camera can be removed via the googlewiz.config file (see below), Lockscreen & AOD (Always On Display), Fingerprint & iris scanning, Blue light filter (optional), Smartmanager (optional).

What is NOT in the ROM
I have left out loads of stuff ... mainly because I don't use these features ... and/or they are Samsung specific. Don't ask me to integrate Samsung specific features because I won't: Samstuff stuff (all left out), Live wallpapers, Wear and Gear (but read further below please), Multiwindow, Clearcover, Edge, Docking, DEX, No call recording for now, Samsung dual messenger, VoIP (wifi calling) and VoLTE (but read further below for VoLTE), ...
Telegram
No telegram group; I don't have time for that, so stop asking please.

(Re)Using this work
Other devs, please feel free to (re)use this for your own work ... I am not asking anything from anybody, no donation, no thanks, no beer ... you don't even have to mention that you (re)use this. We are here on XDA to share and learn from eachother.
Disclaimer
I will try to support questions / feedback. I will not answer questions such as "Can you please add Samsung feature X,Y,Z" ... I have deliberately removed them. If you want Samsung, go and use a Samsung ROM. There are instructions further down on how to create your own variant of the ROM so you can do this yourself if you want to add stuff. I will not answer PMs (don't have time to look at them). I have attached also a bash script (as .txt file). This is the script which I personally use to generate the ROM starting from a standard Samsung system.img. If you are a DEV, you can study this to see how I create this ROM. Again, feel free to (re)use. The usual applies: no warranty, installing this will trip KNOX, install at your own risk, ... I am not responsible for soft or hard bricks. Your phone must have TWRP to install this ROM. If your phone is bricked, your best guess is to try and flash the ORIGINAL Samsung firmware with Odin. Do repeat{ search, read }.
Download (multiple versions):
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=239365 (up to release v65). Files are called: googlewiz_oreo_vXX.zip.
As of release v66, ROM has been uploaded to mega.nz: see https://mega.nz/#F!WUQ2DYpJ!5l3fVDpoXSdHO8p2IfKCvA
See post #3 for a changelog. Please read it as it may answer some of your questions.
Theming
ROM has no Samsung themestore. Install Substratum (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=projekt.substratum) and a samsung compatible substratum theme (e.g. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brit.swiftblack.layers)
Splash screen
To make your phone more "GoogleWiz", try the google splash screen. See: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75714051&postcount=189
WARNING: ONLY FOR G950F !!! Do *NOT* flash this on other models; your phone WILL go into soft brick - I warned you.
Other stuff
For heart rate / stress monitor: install SHealth (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.shealth) from the play store.
Known bugs / issues
"Game" battery saving mode is not working (due to Samsung stuff removed from ROM); will FC settings app
Device encryption will not work (as it relies on Samsung KNOX which has been fully removed
Android for work will not function
Advanced functions in settings: most of them don't work
On a clean install, first screen might show a Magisk error, just ignore it
Installation
Make sure first that "OEM unlock" is enabled in your developer settings (if you don't understand what this means then this ROM is not for you).
Make sure to flash the Oreo bootloader (see post #2) if you come from Nougat.
- click WIPE and then FORMAT DATA (do this ONCE when you come from Nougat) => then reboot into TWRP
- Wipe /system, /data and /cache (for a normal clean install)
- put the googlewiz_oreo_vXX.zip onto your /sdcard
- wipe data, system, dalvik, cache
- flash bootloader (if you come from Nougat)
- flash ROM
- reboot
Please mention the device and release you are on when reporting bugs.
ROM updates
The ROM only touches the /system partition. ROM does not update bootloader, nor modem (baseband). Most ROM updates can be dirty flashed except when the release notes mention clearly that you need to do a clean install (in that case, wipe your /data). Instructions for flashing a modem can be found in: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77759235&postcount=3196
Adblocking
For adblocking without AdAway (everywhere: both in browser and apps) do the following:
> adb shell
# su
# hl
The "hl" command will replace the hosts file with a huge (> 200000) hosts which refer to IP address 0.0.0.0; this will make ads go away in your browser and applications. No ad-blocking app is required. If you want to restore the original hosts file, use the command "hs" (ads will come back then). The "hl" command is agressive; some web pages or apps might not work properly. To use a less aggressive ad blocking use the command "hm" (this uses a hosts file similar to adaway without having the need to install that app).
/etc/init.d, /etc/services.d and /sdcard/init.d
/etc/init.d scripts are running once /data is mounted; do not rely on any Android functionality in those scripts as Android is not fully initialized when these scripts run. Use /etc/services.d if you want to rely on Android functionality; scripts in /etc/services.d are ran later than /etc/init.d; see post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76901055&postcount=1771 for more details. You can put user scripts on /sdcard/init.d/; they will be ran last.
Writeable /system partition
Use "sysrw" and "sysro" in an adb shell to make the /system partition writeable/read-only; note that Magik's safeynet will NOT work if the /system partition is writeable (this is normal behavior).
Building a variant of this ROM
Attached (linux; bash) script gives you a clue of how the ROM was created starting from a stock system.img ext4 image file from Samsung.
Kernel
This ROM uses NX kernel and optimizations tightly coupled to it. Installing another kernel may have all sorts of side effects which I will not support you with. You have been warned.
Screenshots
Screenshots in attach. Black screenshots taken from my own fully installed phone, after theming with substratum (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=projekt.substratum) and using the following theme: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brit.swiftblack.layers. All launcher screenshots (except the last one) are with the Nova launcher. Last screenshot shows the Google Pixel launcher.
Configurable installer
You can remove apps from the ROM and do some customizations. Create a simple text file with the content below. The file must be called "googlewiz.config". You should push it via adb onto /sdcard BEFORE installation. Then install the ROM via TWRP. The installer will read this file and remove the google apps which have "=0". There should be no spaces, i.e. "clock=1" instead of "clock = 1". I think you get the idea. It's not rocket science. If the file is not on /sdcard, everything remains in the ROM (with Nova as launcher and Swiftkey as keyboard). This config mechanis is very simple, avoids aroma, and still allows a bit of configuration. So as an absolute minimum (assuming you remove all above) you will have in your app drawer: Messaging, Camera, Contacts, Photos, Settings, Magisk, Nova Google Companion, Nova settings, Play Store, Swiftkey, Phone. (Nova Google companion icon will go away once clicked and OK).

For Nova launcher (default); put "launcher=nova" in the config file. For Google Pixel launcher, put "launcher=pixel" in the config file.
For Swiftkey keyboard (default); put "keyboard=swiftkey" in the config file. For Google Gboard, put "keyboard=gboard" in the config file.
Switching between keyboards across releases may cause keyboard not to work properly when you dirty flash; if you decide to switch keyboard across 2 releases, do a clean flash.
The pixel icon pack only works with Nova launcher. If you use the Pixel launcher the icon pack will not be installed (even if you have "iconpack=1" in the configuration).
Screen usage option: "immersive". Possible values are "none", "navbar" and "full". "none" means that both navbar and statusbar are always visible. "navbar" means that the navbar is not visible (swipe from the bottom of the screen to display the navbar). "full" means that both navbar AND statusbar are invisible (swipe from the top or bottom of the screen to make them visible).
The ROM uses pixel icons in the settings, statusbar, tiles, navbar; if you (really?) prefer the original Samsung icons, put "icons=samsung" in the googlewiz.config file.
If you want to know how this works, unzip the ROM and look at scripts/simpleconfig.sh. It is a very simple config mechanism which avoids a complex installer with aroma.
Configurable BIXBY key
By default, the BIXBY ket is set to HOME: the nova launcher home screen. You can put a line in googlewiz.config: "bixby=X" with X being one off {HOME, BACK, CAMERA, CONTACTS, MESSAGE, CALL, SEARCH, CALENDAR, APP_SWITCH, SCREENSHOT, ASSISTANT}
example: "bixby=CAMERA" or "bixby=CALENDAR"
If you put "bixby=NONE" the bixby key remains unbound. This should allow 3rd party button remappers to work.
Code:
HOME = Nova launcher home screen
BACK = go one step back (same as back key in navbar)
CAMERA = open camera; once in the camera pressing the bixby key takes a picture
CONTACTS = open Google Contacts app
MESSAGE = open Google Messaging app
CALL = open Google Phone app
SEARCH = perform search in the current application
CALENDAR = open Google Calendar
APP_SWITCH = open screen where you can switch between running apps (same as "recents" key in navbar)
SCREENSHOT = take a screenshot
ASSISTANT = Google assistant (of course will not work if you have "assistant=0" in your googlewiz.config)
NONE = do not bind the bixby key; should allow 3rd party remappers to work
VoLTE
Many people ask for VoLTE. I can't do it properly ... sorry ... not for now ... my provider does NOT support VoLTE ... which means that I cannot test anything. In addition, VoLTE is CSC specific configuration and all CSC config has been currently removed from the ROM. It is tricky to bring this back into the ROM ... especially if I cannot test anything. I would just be working in total darkness. Please understand this. If there is a DEV wiling to help let me know. However, see post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77598885&postcount=2888 and post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77597891&postcount=2885, these might give some hints to try and make it work.
Good news: Some people have VoLTE running; see the following posts; thanks to @meldrak and @kuduku
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77663720&postcount=2966
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77669115&postcount=2984
Android wear and Samsung gear
Android wear is not working. Same point as for VoLTE. I do not own a wear device which means that I cannot test anything. If there is a DEV wiling to help I can explain what to try. Samsung gear is working but you need to flash additional package on top of the ROM; see post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76412043&postcount=1102. I have not personally tested this (as I don't own a device); but user zoltain73 tested it (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76417301&postcount=1120).
Live wallpapers
No live wallpapers in the ROM. However, if you really want this, flash the package attached to the following post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76887206&postcount=1752
Bluetooth and audio
Some users are reporting bluetooth audio issues with Bose headsets. Enable developer settings and set the bluetooth audio coded to SBC. Check again if audio works.
Google ChromeCast
Screen mirroring to a Google ChromeCast works out of the box. You need to install the Google Home app (put "chromecast=1" in the googlewiz.config file before installing the ROM). If you really(?) want Samsung's mirror link, flash the zip file attached to post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77390484&postcount=2610.
Google Pay
Google Pay confirmed working (of course your bank/card has to support it). See https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=78057564&postcount=3716

Previous releases had swap disabled. I have re-enabled it at the cost of a small performance penalty. But apps should be held longer in memory. If you want to disable swap, then put "swap=0" in the googlewiz.config file and reboot.
It should be possible as of this release to install another kernel.
I have only tried with the stock kernel.
After flashing a kernel you will loose root. You must reflash the file Magisk.zip (this is included in the ROM in the directory called "root"). Unzip the ROM zip file and you will see that directory.

Miscellaneous, Hints & Tips
Speed up Nova launcher
Open Nova settings, Look & Feel, then set "Scroll speed" and "Animation speed" to "Faster than light".
Google Assistant
Google assistant only works with English/UK as main language and you must have internet connection.
Google now cards (see attached picture)
Swipe from home screen left border to display Google card feed (enable in Nova settings > Integrations > Google Now Page; also open the Google search app to initialize it). After a reboot, the first swipe will show an empty screen, just tick on the search bar to make the cards appear.
Google Lens photo analysis
Google Lens photo analysis is supported from the photos app but only if your language is set to English. Read this: https://support.google.com/photos/answer/7539151?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform=Android. To make lens work with other languages, look at post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76528084&postcount=1280
Google Lens app
As of v53 the ROM also support early versions of the Google Lens app; I have the impression it is not 100% stable. I guess Google is rolling it out to get user feedback so that the AI machine learning algorithms can be trained with more and better data.
Google cloud printing
The Google cloud printer is included in the ROM; this means - for example - that applications which support print function you can print a PDF file onto Google drive.
Google markup
Google markup is a small photo editor which allows you to draw on a photo. To use it, open the photos app, click on a photo, then on the menu with 3 dots in the upper right corner and "Edit with markup". It's handy for marking something on a screenshot. Note that the share button in the markup app does not work. This comes from Android P developer preview 2.
