Alright, so I got bored, and decided I would start porting bootscreens from other ROMs, the other guy who was doing this had "work" commitments

Hi I ported the Beats Audio Boot animation from the HTC Sensation XE Beats
I Got the Boot Animation from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1334605
I know there is another Beats one in this forum however for me I get a black screen so I decided to port my own.
I have only edited the fact that it doesn't say HTC at the beginning.

No you place it in /system/media using root explorer or any other file explorer that can gain root access
nice, you should make another one with a second part on loop. that would be really sweet.
I like it but its not clear enough it is a bit pixelated
almost all the phones running cm9 has this boot animation....so thought of porting it for our little willy..tried to make it as much smooth as possible....

Can i flash it on a gingerbread ROM ??
The bootanimation.zip file on gingerbread is in /system/media not in /data/local as in the attachment.
Or can i just extract bootanimation.zip file to /system/media?

Just put the bootanimation.zip file to /system/media.
yes you can flash the zip on cm7 /cm9:good:
So I'm running Maisters GSM ROM and the recent apps screen doesn't show up (non-exsistant). Anyways while looking I found a WP7 like view for the Recent apps screen but its for the Nexus S (System UI & Framework mod) and I can't just flash it.
So as a request to somebody with the time to read and think about this. It would be cool in my opinion for a similar mod for Sense 4.
I lack the modding skills to even begin to know what exactly has to be done. My adb, apk-signing, smilis skills etc have been ignored for the better half of a year. :crying:
So anyway Thanks for looking.
Goodbyyyyyyyeeeeee lol

I've been looking for a good Matrix Boot Animation for long but never found one. So decided to make one for myself.
Finally , here it is.
The matrix rain, followed by 'The matrix has you' message and then loops back to the rain.
540x960 at 30fps
Code:
Root Explorer required
[B]Imp:It is recommended to make a backup before trying to change system files
,just to be safe.[/B]
Instructions
Using your explorer go to /system/media and rename the existing 'bootanimation.zip' to 'bootanimation.bak'
Copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media
change permission to rw_r_r
Reboot.
Preview: Just a small one.
