I've been tried to added % battery too but always fails ... it's seem the problem is with the .xml file ... everytime i edit .xlm my phone always boot loop or stuck on logo. Any way if you want themes without % battery , I've made some.
someone able to change the battery icon already. Too bad cant reply on void post.

Hi to everyone. I will describe here which are my problems with my SGS2.
My battery life is very lower, I think the battery is broken.
I've tried 3 different ROM to improve it but there isn't a difference. My battery is burned in about 10 hours. I don't hard use the phone in these hours, only about 10-15 minute of talking.
On all ROM's which I've tried the effect is the same. I've tried Lite'ning v1.5 too.
Another major issue of my phone is it doesn't stand in power off mode. If I try to turn off the phone, it will automatically turn on. Something happened with my phone, I've bought this one month ago, at the first, this issue wasn't.
So, I've decided to go with my SGS2 to quaranty.
Can you guide me how to make a full restore of SGS2 and put the default ROM on it? Some people told me that I've lost the quaranty if I install a rooted ROM like lite'ning. Is there any method to erase all my installed ROM's history?
P.S: I've wondering in Battery Status application from market a status of my battery: extra voltage when I take it from charging. I really think that this battery is broken.
Thanks you.
nobody can help me?
Search button would have helped .
Flash stock rom .
jje
Thanks but I need more details. If I flash stock rom they won't see the difference? They will know that I put another rooted rom?

If it presist after you do the instructions on previous post,it's fuel gauge problem,it's kinda hard to fix by not installing custom kernel.
Try The Allicance RC5 kernel for ICS,i think this will solve your problem.
It is very likely you are having "fuel gauge" problem.

You are using "wrong" combination of rom and kernel. Same story is with polishblood AOSP and sirkay's kernel.
Just let it re-boot few(2,3) times(it will charge it up enough to boot), disconnect charger, wait till re-boot process is over, and turn on your phone, then connect charger.

Ah yes, he put new animation for charging. But still permissions should be set correctly.
Can you go to system\semc\chargemon\data and check permissions on those images you find there. What permissions are set?

Flashing custom ROMs can often mess up your battery stats, giving u wrong readings. You may have to calibrate your battery:
Try charging till 100%, remove battery for 90 seconds, put it back in and turn on phone.
P.S. Rebooting a phone can consume battery charge too..

It happens when you remove the battery when the phone is powered on. Its normal
Connect a.c. charger and reboot
Or reboot in recovery and then reboot normally with a.c. charger connected.
Hi all,
i tried to bypass PIE with the bypasspie.zip file i flashed it using rom installer to boot and recovery. I don't have recovery on my Sony Xperia Z2 and now the battery seems to be empty after reboot. I am currently charging and the LED shows a blinking red light. Does anybody know what i should do or should i wait till (maybe) the battery is full and was the cause of it? By the way, i am very sure that ill have to wait 3 hours like mentioned by other people who share their problem with the red light blinking, i was just going to ask because i got 3 hours to wait

Always make backup of the rom, or just backup file which will be changed after flash.
in this case linker file from /system/bin
