LG Optimus S is the Sprint version of the Optimus One
finally LG fix the sd card problem, I'm waiting the update for unbranded Optimus One
LG Optimus S (LS670) Maintenance Release - LS670ZVC
Enhancements/Fixes:
- SD card detection error
- New drivers for LCD supplier
- Removing first time language selection from the start up wizard

Any word if this affected the hidden hotspot option? I'm wondering if now would be a good time to finally root my Optimus V, seeing as how the S and the V are close cousins.

This is the latest update from the LG Support tool for the LG Optimus V. A lot have had fatal errors using their executable...once it errors its programmed to delete the .cab update. Luckily I had an old enough dino machine to grab it before it deleted. Happy playing at your own risk .
VM670ZV5_07.cab file removed until I can figure out whats wrong with it
I'm currently using CM10.1 on a Korean LG Optimus G.
Korean's format of the phone number is 123-1234-1234 (11 digits).
Well, after downloading CM10.1, I noticed the system is recognizing my number in this format: 123-123-41234.
Please tell me how to fix this!!!
Some of Korean apps uses system phone number and thinks my number is 123-123-4123... Which is wrong!
hi friends my LG G3 ls990 is not showing the hidden menu im using this code 5689#*990# and it open new page there is written ...NULL...and i dont know how to fix it ....please help me
After updating the stock LG keyboard (7.5.x) with the one on APKMirror (7.6.45), I really liked the 2 new features:
1. Smart toolbar (faster access to clipboard, emojis, handwriting with icons in the place where suggestions normally appear - they still do after entering some text)
2. Bigger floating symbol icons.
Problem was whenever I tried entering text with suggestions available, the keyboard would close, a message would appear about updating and the LG app update would open, so the keyboard was practically unusable.
I narrowed the problem to some apps associated with keyboard (Word suggestions, Handwritting). Problem was the versions available on APKMirror were for earlier versions. So a quest started for finding newer versions. In the end after extracting various KDZs from xda and lg-firmwares.com I found an even newer 7.7.3 version on the LG G7 Korean variant kdz on lg firmwares.
Attached are the newer apks and an screenshot of the keyboard, there is a forth apk (LGEIME_TEXT_SOLUTION_XT9.apk) that is too big for XDA, if its also needed I can upload it somewhere else, I am also currently uploading the apks to APKMirror and will post the updated links if they are approved.
Be warned that if does not work for you and you are not rooted the only way to downgrade the keyboard I can think of is re-flashing system from a kdz, hardware reset will not work as the files updated are on the /system partition which stays the same after a hardware reset (only the /data partition is deleted)
edit
Removed LGEIME_TEXT_SOLUTION_TS.apk because as far as I can tell is not needed (its probably for the Korean version only). It does not exist on my US996 and comes up when installing as a new app.
LGEIME_TEXT_SOLUTION_XT9.apk (Word suggestions) is needed probably - I will upload it somewhere and post the link in an edit.
edit 2
APKMirror mirrors uploaded by me:
1. LGEIME.apk (LG Keyboard)
2. LGEIME_HWR_SOLUTION_MYSCRIPT.apk (LG Handwritting)
3. LGEIME_TEXT_SOLUTION_XT9.apk (Word suggestions)
edit 3
I found a bug, the floating menu is not compatible with all skins, the high contrast skin for example does not show a different background for the selected letter.
edit 4
Updated version added, use that instead.
LG Keyboard 7.7.26 flashable zip
LG_keyboard_7.7.26.zip (androidfilehost.com)
Newer LG keyboard taken from this thread.
I added all the extra /lib files which seemed to fix the floating menu background color bug.
I also added the odex, vdex files.
For non root users you can just extract the 3 apk files from the zip:
/system/priv-app/LGEIME/LGEIME.apk
/system/priv-app/LGEIME_HWR_SOLUTION_MYSCRIPT/LGEIME_HWR_SOLUTION_MYSCRIPT.apk
/system/priv-app/LGEIME_TEXT_SOLUTION_XT9/LGEIME_TEXT_SOLUTION_XT9.apk
and install them manually.
Hi there
I found a forgotten LG G Watch in a drawer.
The Watch isnt working, but its somehow recognised.
So I was investigating and found an german Youtube Video for emergency recovery/unbrick: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qq-vla4DtfQ
I also found the Flash tool and installed it, but there are some files mentioned
lgw100_svc_lgflashhv186.dll
LGW100AT-QQ-V10a-NXS-XX-MAY-27-2014-KKV51-USER+0.tot
Unfortunately the links are (of course) dead - so I´m looking for this or similar or newer files.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks.
