1.3 is the highest right now..
There is someone on here who has a special version of KK that got it to 1.3. I dont think we, the normal people, are there yet.

I have already updated my X10 to 2.1 in November via the Sony utility but yesterday I got notification that another update is ready. I cannot find the details on it so I held off and thought I would as if anyone else here has any info on it?

Why not? Our great Mini/Pro DEVs here are sure to get the job done. May not be soon, but in due time.
It would be interesting to know if the X10 bootloader being cracked will help with cracking the Mini's bootloader too? I don't know enough about how it works and what the differences are...

The bootloaders in the big X10 and the Mini/Pro are exactly the same.
Well that's a good start then!
Cant wait for minis bootloader to be cracked
Sounds like it's just a matter of time before the bootloader on the x10 mini is cracked. Looking forward to see what the devs cook up
Bootloader will be unlocked?

For example, we could use firewalls with iptables support, native wifi tethering, and other things.

Just naming everything we can do would make your eyes bleeding of reading too much. Honestly.
Ok so if we do get an unlocked bootloader, are we gonna get the full potential of our x10s camera? IE shutter control, iso and all that dslr stuff..
What makes you think there gonna unlock the bootloader? They have made it very clear that they wont.
Anyways, to answer your question...if we did have a unlocked bootloader yes we would have access to camera control...hardly dslr stuff...but EV control is the best feature.

Dude I said IF we do get em. But yah thanks for reply. Don't we have EV control already?

Yeah, we already have EV control....but no custom rom has it available...nor does any camera app from the market. Which is why im sticking with 2.1
Anyways, I know what you said....I wasnt trying to be a smartass.

If you have sources inside of Sony Ericsson with this knowledge then you must be a pretty top person - however, your grammar begs to differ so I refuse to believe this "information"...

just because my friend is a "top person" like you called it and that my English grammar isn't good doesn't mean I'm a top person! And it doesn't mean I lie! You just have to wait and see, then you will know that I was speaking the truth, and maby you will have little faith on people that have bad English grammar.. The future will tell

HI guys. My cousin was running miniCM10 on his x10 mini. all went fine. but from yesterday it had issue with GSM calling. ( cannot able to speak or hear and the call disconnects in 25 seconds automatically. so he asked me to put on some stable GB roms. i installed GingerDX GB rom and had the same exact CALL issue. so i decided to use SEUS and revert back to stock 2.1. i installed stock 2.1, but now my mobile network is not connecting. both automatically and manually. it can see all the available networks, but when i try to connect my network , it says " Your SIM does not allow connection with this network"
any ideas guys ?

You tried relocking your bootloader, you must have unlocked it previously to install MiniCM10. Try relocking it mate.
