Yeah, I'd like to know this too. But I think our phone doesn't have a FM radio transmitter, as some Nokia's (some androids have them too) do.
That would be... awesome!
Keen aswell

In order to do that, your phone need to have FM transmiter hardware. Without such hardware (and GT-I5800 does not have FM transmiter) software can not do anything.
So answer is NO. There is NO app for GT-I5800 that can stream music to car (or any other) radio because GT-I5800 does not have necessary hardware to do it.
Thanx mates for the info...the closest streaming app is double twist with airtwist..it streams music to xbox, ps3 etc...over wifi

Or just buy a fm transmitter module which plugs into the audio connector, e.g. Something like the belkin tunecast 2 http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=181911
You can then use it also with other devices like mp3 players.

I think XiiaLive or something like that is the official android shoutcast app. I think Winamp has or will shortly support it.
I use TuneIn which I believe has support, but I use it mostly to listen to BBC Radio One
Hi
I have the sony s tablet, I want to push movies to my Sony Bluray player but my tablet can't find it. My PC finds the bluray ok.
Same here can't find Google TV or blue ray DVD

You have to be connected to the same network. Have you checked that?
If you are connected, then try to go music player, long press any song and options will appear, choose "throw", it'll search for device and should find your blu-ray player or TV

Does your google Tv support DLNA?
And which brand is your Blu-Ray or model?
I know silly question but it usually detects the devices immediately

I have the same problem:
the tablet keeps telling that no player has been found when trying to throw songs or pictures to my bravia kdl-40cx520 (ethernet connected). Does the tv need the wifi dongle to be scanned by the tablet? or dlna is independent and a complete different thing?
Thanks for your help
While streaming music in my wifes car with a jvc ax740 I think, I noticed that the song, artist, and album info would populate. Her evo does not do this. It works with the stock music player and will try pandora tomorrow. I am on 198-7 but saw this on 198_6 also. Radio supports avrcp 3.0 which is also supposed to include track time, folder switchi g and album art. So far those are not coming through. But I thought I would share either way.

I don't think avrcp supports this? At least in the user manual for my wife's radio its not mentioned. <shrug>

Considering bluetooth 3.0 is not officially mentioned for this phone I thought it was
But upon further reading I cannot find where Bluetooth 3.0 and avrcp 1.3 are tied to each other. Maybe it has to do with the blues stack I read on. I am spouting off memory from my cm7 evolution days.

Motorola had implemented AVRCP 1.3 support from droid x onwards, hence it works on there stock music player.
Good news is that recently ProFusion team has submitted upstream proper support for AVRCP 1.3 on Bluez ww.politreco.com/2011/10/avrcp-1-3-on-bluez/
Now what you can do is star code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=5450
FYI it's an easy "tweak" if you know how to use apktool to add support for this to Pandroa and slacker. I won't post APKs, but anyone interested I can PM the SMALI change.
Working on an app to allow proper intent mapping with other media apps as well. Currently mapps properly with amazon and winamp.

Most of the fm transmitter apps I have seen are somewhat buggy, but check out TuneLink Auto (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=newpotato.tunelink).

R: Issue with MP3 tags on Bluetooth
Maybe your car doesnt support the reading of tags...maybe the cyanogenmod is not stable enlugh yet or it uses a different(more rudimental) kind of way to connect to headphone bluetooth devices (such as your car, which acts like a receiving speaker) and stock rom did not...could be anything...
did it ever work? On what rom? With any particular app? Do you use any sort of special bluetooth connection method?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
I've done this without ROM, there's no problem

R: Issue with MP3 tags on Bluetooth
Without rom...you mean without cyanogen? Or with another phone? Perhaps its got to do with the permissilns: u need to associate the car 'better' (make it secure) with the phone, or perhaps u need a different bluetooth connection method. I suggest checking the store for some apps that help you with bluetooth pairing stuff...
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
With stock ROM, there is no problem with pairing etc and it sounds great! I'm only missing the file info (tag).... The car audio just say "no name" There must be something disabled in CyanogenMod ?

It's CM and/or AOSP... Don't worry its not Samsung or your car.
If your on power amp go to settings and enable send id3 tags over a2dp or similar.. It may work for you..

I seem to be facing the same issue. On my sammy stock ROM everything worked fine. I fail to understand why the tags aren't working. Can someone give me some insight as to how those tags are passed? I'm currently using CM10.1 on a SGS3 i9300.
It's something with the Bluetooth version on android 4.2.2! Have I found on this forum

I have had this problem with all roms I have used(stock and omega). Toyota touch&go will not show song names etc. Not from Spotify or mp3 played from phone. Iphone works well. Touch&go shows artist, songname and album while streaming music from Spotify via bluetooth.
Is there a rom where's no problem with bluetooth? Looks like it needs Avcrp v1.3 support...
