Yo guys,
Many of us want to have a flipping wildfire clock...
but our wildfire clock doesnt flip...
Many of us want to have a weather animation after the screen unlock...
And I found one that is actually working!
First of all let me get to the point.
1st, download the files from market "called beautiful widget" from the market
2nd, install it.
3th, remove the 4X2 clock widget that you are currently using.
4th, long press the empty space and select 4X2.
5th, select the clock you like. (I prefer first one)
6th, set up the setting that you like including the setting in the tab.
7th, on advance tab, tick *UNLOCK ANIMATION*.
8th, after you have done, simply press SAVE & APPLY.
9th, now screen of your device and turn it on after seconds.
10th, you will see nothing happen right now, wait for few seconds and a window will pop out.
11th, press download and you will be taken to market.
12th, download and install the files that they wanted you to download.
13th, screen off and on.
14th, YOU'RE DONE!

It is very hard to let you guys trust me... and I know you guys want some screenshot.. I tried using screenshot apps, it doesn't take the photo. Yeah why dont you buy all of us here at XDA a licensed copy of that app.. Ppl are asking for it the way it is on desire, legend etc.. Built right into sense.. and thats why i opened this thread.. extremely disappointed.. was anyhow wondering me and danne jo could not make it work.. and a school kid does it .. but now i am super pissed..

Looks ugly. The clock is too different. And the animation doesnt eork, I want a modified HTC sense with the weather animations.
LOL... Obviously this is a thread to people who don't like the sense interface and decided to use a alternative launcher. They are obviously asking a port of the HTC clock to android, market apps is just a choice that I'm sure with common everyone must have typed "weather/clock" with beautiful widget Still coming out on top on the market list. But I have yet to see a 4x2 (not a full screen) widget animated, I know it kills battery but be cool so does live wallpaper.

I agree with kevin actually. BW has been available for a long time as well as the weather animation. And like what they said, this one is not built in to sense.
And forgive me for lack of a better term why scam readers by asking them to donate if all you did is make a guide for BW weather animation

You can also add a rediscovery of walking and the marvelous invention of hot water.
I moved BW to SD with Titanium Backup.
Now you see the BW not working.
Then I replased the original HTC clock.
Now I have weather animation in the original HTC clock
But my phone slows a bit down. But when I tap the screen the animation go away.
Then the wildfire speeds up

I found the Google Music app in the Market, but it looks just like the leaked Honeycomb music app, i.e. no streaming. I signed up for an invite...maybe that activates the cloud music features?

Well what is odd is i've had that app for a while. and when i went to the site it said i had requested a beta invite. i never formally did.

It could hours, days, weeks, months. I remember when i signed up for a google voice invite it took 3 months.

I think it is with the Sense 3.0 I was running it and it was force closing on me to, switched to CM 7.0.3 and it works fine!

I'm using the beta music app--specifically, version 3.0.336 or something like that. About a month ago, a leaked google music app was posted, and I thought that was the version I have running now.
The only thing that is strange (and this could be user error), is that the leaked app from a month ago had a feature which allowed you to scan through your collection in a way that was obviously a direct copy of Apple's "cover flow"in iTunes (scrolling 3D album covers).
But for the life of me, I can't seem to figure out how to get that library view. Does anyone remember this, or am I high? And if I'm high, I must be smoking too much because I am sure of this. I even posted a scteenshot of it somewhere in the Q&A section.
But seriously, could someone explain how I navigate to this view?

That view only comes up in landscape mode, and when you select "recent." And no, it ISN'T a "direct copy" of Cover Flow by any means. I've worked with cover flow type interfaces as a web developer, and it's not even close.
Sorry... Functionally equivalent to the point where differences are rendered negligible.
But as an android/Google fan, I'll assume Apple took the idea from an unreleased prototype of Flipboard or something.
And thanks for letting me know I wasn't imagining this. I still have to try it.

Yup! Same here. Install/uninstall.
Price of the app, like anything else, doesn't mean it's good quality or useful.
If you need an assistant to do what this app does, you already have a real one to go with your $30M a year salary!
Also, they were offering an app the other day for free, (forget which one), regular price $1.99 or something, and the same app was already free in the Market.

I guess I'm the only fan lol... I know that price of the app doesnt mean quality.. but this app reminds me of how LockInfo was set up (if you guys ever had an iPhone and had LockInfo you can appreciate the UI).
I have mines set-up as my lockscreen with all the info/RSS Feeds/Facebook set up on it so i dont have to launch anything.
I know there are a bunch of different widgets/apps already out there that can do this, but none could replicate or improve the look I wanted.... except this app.

I like it... I liked the lockscreen info app on the iphone... it does bug me that i have to hit home before swiping my finger 9 times out of 10, but it looks pretty good and it gives me info at a glance without actually getting into the phone if it isn't necessary.
I just like the fact that I can use it's widget to put notification on widgetlocker. and the icons are customisable as well so thats really great.

I totally understand what you are talking about. I used lock info as well on my jail broken iphone. It's kind of a replica of that. Looks beautiful also. I'm using this app as a replacement of widget locker for the moment. lets see how long it lays on my phone lol.

In my experience, i havn't found an app which could do the same, or even comes close. You know any app which can display who last called you, or whats in your text/email and from whom?
For me personally, i found the holy grail with this app, which is sadly not that impressive as i wish it was. My idol is the jailbreaked lockscreen and its copy in iOS5.

Not for a while. But its still too bulky, big and not customizable for me.
That’s right, guys. Just download from your phone’s browser and install like a normal app. It’s currently working great on my Evo 3D although I’m not sure if this will work on phone’s equipped with Android 2.1 and lower (per Google) but I don’t think that will stop you from trying, right? Let us know if it works for you! Enjoy!
Oh — and if the new Market ISN’T your cup of tea or starts to act a little wonky, you can always go back to the old Market following these simple steps:
Go into your phone’s Settings
Select “Manage Applications”
Select the “All” tab at the top
Scroll down to Market app and select it
Select “Uninstall Updates”
Now have your old Market back!

Yeah id like to know how to screenshot as well...
Hold down HOME and push Volume down.
It will create screenshot in /media. To get the file from there you need an explorer, AndroXlor for example (free on Amazon market)

One of my apps got suspended from android market. The app was a wallpaper app and the wallpapers contained girls, not naked though. Exept for one pic where u actually can see the girls tits..
My question is why it got suspended? I mean, there is A LOT of similar apps out here... Is it maybe cuz I'd put the "Content Rating" to "Everyone", should I maybe have chosen "High Maturity"?

The nips are showing. I don't think google cares about boobs so long as the "vital" bits are covered. This is probably why it got banned.

That's possible. I had an app removed from usa market because in the description it said it was an eight ball type app and mattel own copyright on that phrase. I removed the two words but its still blocked. Google don't give developers chance to defend themselves they just yank the app but they do tell you if you broke copyright as in my case I got a copy of letter to them sent by mattell. So perhaps you have an email un noticed?
