When completing step 2, it won't reboot the phone. And hence won't load up the 'update from SD card screen'
Everything else has been stalled aart from this final bit?

Take the SD card out, start it again. It should boot into the previous version. So to Settings-> Uncheck Fast boot. Power it off, put the sd card back in and restart the tablet. This time the install should go through. (At least that's what has always worked for me. For others, they insist Fast Boot is just fine). After the update, remember to remove the init.cfg file out of the boot folder.

i followed the steps from 1 to 12 in section one but i choose TWRP instead of CWM...
i did a reboot, but the phone never boot again
it doesn't work at all, no logo, no vib. nothing.
i tried to pull the battery and put it back, but no signs of good.
it doesn't connect to the PC
So please if there is anyone can help.

Hi, I'm quite new to XDA, but I am familiar with using guides, but can't find anything that will help me. I'm sorry if this post is quite newbie, as I am when it comes to this sorry of stuff.
My brother's S2 broke, so I can't get detailed specs as I can't get it to boot. This is what I would like help with.
Phone: Samsung S2 GT-I9100
Carrier: unknown, possibly UK Vodafone
Builds/Kernel: unknown
What happened: Phone failed to boot one day, stuck on a screen saying "firmware upgrade encountered an issue (yada yada, fix with Samsung kies)
Action taken: Odin and stock ROM download, repeated attempts and fails at flashing.
Conclusion: After comparing boot sequences and Odin flash logs to my S2 and the internet, NAND RAM
failed, unable to flash/read ROM.
Solution: You guys. Is it possible to boot custom/stock ROM from an external Micro SD card without any reliance on the NAND?

Hi,
I made a typical noob error and have a dead android now. Don't really know what and where it went wrong, but my Asus Zenpad tab, Z300C - P023, stuck on Asus logo, no recovery - only fastboot access.
Can someone please help me with either suggesting some correct steps to recover the tab or redirect me to correct threads. I don't care what ROM I install, or if I loose data, all I want is tab back working.
